4 Mil PVC Calendar Film With Paint-Safe Adhesive
4 mil white PVC calendar film carries an adhesive formulated for painted drywall, plaster, smooth wood paneling, and interior concrete. It's a thin but sturdy vinyl that conforms to flat interior surfaces. You get a firm bond that releases cleanly without pulling paint when peeled slowly. No heat gun needed on most walls. That's the reason this adhesive differs from outdoor-grade permanent formulas.
UV Printing at 720 DPI on a Matte Finish Surface
UV printing (a process where ink cures instantly under ultraviolet light) runs at 720 DPI minimum across every order we produce at A2Z Printing Hub. Matte finish absorbs ink without glare. Bold color and crisp text read clearly from across a room. Visitors see the graphic, not a reflection bouncing back at them. Sharp edges on logos. Readable body text from 6 ft away.
Die-Cut to Any Shape, Kiss-Cut on Backing Sheet
Die-cutting pairs with kiss-cutting so each decal peels away from its sheet cleanly and applies without tearing. Die-cutting means we cut the vinyl to the exact outline of your design, not a standard rectangle. Kiss-cutting means we cut through the vinyl layer only, leaving the backing sheet intact. And because the backing sheet stays whole, you handle and position the decal before committing it to the wall. No torn corners, no guessing where the edge sits.
Customer reviews
Ideal for
Not the best fit for
Glass or window surfaces need a different adhesive type and visibility approach. Window Decals (clings, perforated, frosted, or clear vinyl) are the right call for those surfaces.
Floor surfaces with foot traffic are unsafe without anti-slip lamination. Floor Decals with non-slip lamination are the correct product for any surface underfoot.
Heavily textured exterior surfaces like rough brick or stucco won't bond fully with a paint-safe adhesive. Custom Outdoor Wall Decals carry heavy-duty permanent adhesive built for those conditions.
How to choose
Use these buying points to choose the right Custom Indoor Wall Decals configuration.
-
Smooth Painted Interior Wall Versus Textured or Exterior Surface
Custom indoor wall decals bond to flat interior surfaces: painted drywall, plaster, smooth wood paneling, and interior concrete. The paint-safe adhesive makes full contact across a smooth face and releases cleanly when you peel slowly from one corner. On textured exterior surfaces like rough brick or stucco, that same adhesive can't grip the valleys between texture peaks. For those surfaces, Custom Outdoor Wall Decals carry a heavy-duty permanent adhesive built for rough contact.
For smooth painted drywall, plaster, or interior paneling, order your custom size up to 58.5 in wide and upload your design to get started.
-
Permanent Long-Term Display Versus Removable Seasonal or Temporary Graphic
The paint-safe adhesive holds firmly, but it doesn't lock the decal down forever. Peel slowly from one corner and it releases cleanly from fully cured paint. That makes seasonal swaps straightforward. Reorder a fresh set when the promotion changes and the wall stays undamaged between rounds.
Make sure paint has cured at least 2 weeks before applying. Fresh paint bonds to the adhesive and may pull when you remove the decal.
-
Small Logo or Text Decal Versus Large Wall Mural Spanning Multiple Panels
Size affects both shipping and installation. Decals under roughly 3 ft ship flat with a squeegee and application instructions, and one person handles placement easily. Orders wider than 58.5 in ship in numbered panels with overlap guides. And for murals covering an area larger than about 8 ft by 10 ft, plan for two people during installation to keep panels aligned edge to edge.
-
Wall Surface Versus Glass, Floor, or Door Panel Destination
Indoor wall decals are not the right adhesive match for every interior surface. Window Decals work for any glass surface. Floor Decals handle any surface with foot traffic (they carry non-slip lamination that wall decals do not). Door Decals are built for standard commercial door panels.
Pair it with
Cover the Floor Below Your Wall Graphic
Your wall decal brands the vertical surface. Indoor Floor Decals carry the same graphics down to the floor beneath it, closing the gap between eye level and foot level in one cohesive interior spread. Window Decals bring that same branding onto glass storefronts or interior partitions.
Match the Door to the Wall
Suite numbers, logos, or directional text on Door Decals use the same 4 mil PVC surface type as your wall decals. The interior look stays consistent from the entry door straight through to the back wall.
Scale Up or Step Outside
Custom Vinyl Wall Decals span both indoor and outdoor smooth surfaces when your project crosses environments. Custom Outdoor Wall Decals carry heavy-duty permanent adhesive rated for brick, stucco, and exterior concrete where paint-safe adhesive won't bond.
When Adhesive Isn't the Right Fit
Some walls won't take any decal cleanly. Custom Signs on standoffs work where adhesive fails. Custom Banners hung on wall hardware give you a large-format wall graphic with zero surface contact and full reusability.
FAQs
Get your artwork right
Resolution determines how crisp your text and logo look on the finished decal. Submit files at 300 DPI (dots per inch, meaning how many ink points fit in one inch of print) at actual print size. The floor is 150 DPI. Anything softer than that and fine text starts to blur at reading distance.
- Accepted formats
- PDF, PNG, JPG, and AI. Vector files (AI or PDF) work best for logos because they scale to any size without losing sharpness.
- Color mode
- CMYK, not RGB. CMYK (cyan, magenta, yellow, and black) is how our UV printers mix color, so what you see on screen matches what prints on the decal face.
- Bleed and safe zone
- 0.25 in bleed on all sides, text and logos 0.5 in from the cut edge. For die-cut decals, supply artwork on a transparent background so the cut line follows your design edge exactly.
Text you want readable from 6 ft away needs to be at least 1 in tall in the final printed size. Murals wider than 58.5 in should arrive at full print dimensions or in vector format. Our team handles panel splitting and adds 0.5 in overlap bleed between panels.
Free online design tool and professional design service are both available at checkout. Submit your artwork on a transparent background for die-cut decals and our team sends you a free digital proof within 24 hours.

Care instructions
Product care
- Dust the decal face with a dry cloth. Do not use wet cleaners, magic erasers, or abrasive pads on the matte-finish printed surface, as these scratch or dull the finish over time.
- Do not apply to freshly painted walls. Wait at least 2 weeks after painting so the paint fully cures before sticking any decal down. Fresh paint bonds to the adhesive and may pull when you remove the decal later.
- For removal, peel slowly from one corner at roughly a 45-degree angle. A heat gun on low helps with stubborn adhesive, and rubbing alcohol removes any residue left on the wall after peeling.
- Inspect edges every few months. And if a corner starts to lift, press it back firmly right away. Catching a lifting edge early keeps the rest of the decal flat on its own.
