- Wipe the decal surface with a damp cloth and mild soap. Do not use abrasive cleaners, magic erasers, or solvent-based products directly on the printed face, as these strip the UV-cured ink layer.
- For outdoor wall decals, hose down or wipe with mild soap and water. Don't pressure wash directly at the decal edges. Sustained high pressure lifts the adhesive bond at the perimeter and starts a peel that spreads inward over time.
- Inspect edges every few months. If a corner begins to lift, press it back firmly right away. For removal, peel slowly from one corner at a 45-degree angle. Use a heat gun on low to soften the adhesive if it resists, and follow with rubbing alcohol to clear any residue left on the wall surface.
