4 Mil White PVC Calendar Film With Permanent Adhesive
4 mil white PVC calendar film (a thin, flexible vinyl sheet rated for outdoor use) bonds to painted metal, plastic, and fiberglass bumpers with permanent adhesive. Sturdy enough to stay flat through road debris, rain, and temperature swings, it holds tight for 3 to 5 years without lifting at the edges. But it's not rigid. The film conforms to slightly curved bumper surfaces so you don't get bubbling along the edges after a week of driving.
UV Printing at 720 DPI Minimum for Crisp, Lasting Color
UV printing cures ink instantly under ultraviolet light at 720 DPI minimum, locking in bold, scratch-resistant color. That means car washes, direct sun, and road grime don't soften the image over time. Colors stay crisp through the full rated life of the decal. A2Z Printing Hub runs every bumper decal through this process, so the logo or phone number you upload prints exactly as sharp as your artwork allows.
Die-Cut to Any Shape Up to 58.5 in Wide
Die-cutting trims the vinyl to the exact outline of your design rather than a standard rectangle. A logo, phone number, or custom graphic sits flush on the bumper surface with no visible border around it. Widths reach up to 58.5 in, covering most passenger car and truck bumper panels in a single piece. Sizes over 58.5 in ship in multiple pieces with alignment guides included.

Ideal for
Not the best fit for
Full vehicle wraps covering the entire car surface. We produce decals for specific placement areas, not full coverage. A local wrap installer is the right call for that job.
Temporary vehicle signage that needs daily removal and reapplication. Permanent adhesive is not built for that use. Magnetic Signs are the better choice for vehicles that switch between personal and business use.
One-way see-through graphics on a rear window. That placement needs perforated vinyl. Vehicle Window Decals carry that option.
How to choose
Use these buying points to choose the right Custom Bumper Decals configuration.
-
Front Bumper Versus Rear Bumper Placement
Rear bumpers collect the most eye time. Drivers behind you at a red light sit within 8 to 10 ft of your decal for 60 to 90 seconds. That makes the rear spot ideal for a phone number, URL, or logo. Front bumpers see less sustained attention, so use the front for racing graphics or name lettering that reads at close range. Pick your placement first, then size your artwork to fit the bumper panel width, typically 12 to 36 in depending on the vehicle.
-
Business Branding Versus Personal Customization
Business branding calls for restraint. A clean layout with a logo, phone number, or URL in bold text reads clearly at 10 to 15 ft. Keep the design to one or two lines so it parses fast at a traffic light.
Personal customization gives you more room: illustrated graphics, layered shapes, and full-color artwork all work well on die-cut vinyl. Either way, upload on a transparent background so the cut line follows your exact design edge.
-
Single Decal Versus Fleet Order
A single decal order covers one vehicle with no minimum quantity. Fleet orders of 10 or more vehicles qualify for volume pricing, and consistent placement across every bumper builds brand recognition faster than varied layouts.
Worth knowing: contact us before checking out on 10 or more units to get a volume quote applied before you pay. Mixing sizes across a fleet is fine. Just submit each size as a separate line item.
-
Standard Shape Versus Fully Custom Die-Cut
-
Standard Rectangle or Oval
Standard shapes cost less and work well for text-heavy designs. A phone number or URL on a rectangle reads cleanly without any extra cut complexity.
-
Fully Custom Die-Cut
A fully custom die-cut follows the exact outline of a logo or illustrated graphic, so the decal sits on the bumper with no visible border around it. For die-cut orders, upload artwork on a transparent background and we cut around the design edges.
Pair it with
The Removable Alternative
Some vehicles do double duty, personal on weekends, branded on weekdays. Magnetic Signs attach to the same bumper or door panel without adhesive, so you swap your branding in seconds and leave zero residue.
Same Vehicle, Three Placement Spots
Your bumper carries the phone number. Your doors carry the logo. Your rear window ties it together. Running all three placements on one vehicle puts your contact info at eye level from every direction.
Extend the Design Across a Mixed Fleet
Bumper decals handle the rear. Trucks and cars in the same fleet still need hood and door coverage. These products use the same 4 mil PVC material, so colors match across every vehicle type.
Match Your Mobile Branding at Your Location
Customers who see your bumper decal on the road should recognize your brand at your door. Custom Signs at your storefront or office tie your fixed location to the vehicle branding already moving through town.
FAQs
Get your artwork right
We accept PDF, PNG, JPG, and AI files. AI (Adobe Illustrator vector format) is the strongest choice for logos because vector art scales to any size without losing a crisp edge.
- Resolution
- Resolution matters most on smaller decals. 300 DPI (dots per inch, the measure of print sharpness) is what we recommend for anything under 2 ft in any dimension. 150 DPI is the floor. Below that, text goes soft and fine lines blur.
- Color mode
- Build your file in CMYK color mode. CMYK is the 4-color printing process (cyan, magenta, yellow, black) that matches how our UV presses output color. RGB files (screen color mode) shift at print, so the reds and blues you see on screen do not come out the same.
- Bleed
- Set a 0.25 in bleed on all sides and keep logos and text at least 0.5 in from the cut edge. For die-cut bumper decals, upload your artwork on a transparent background and we trim to the exact design outline.

Care instructions
Product care
- Wait 72 hours after applying your bumper decal before washing the vehicle. The permanent adhesive needs that full curing window to bond flat against the bumper surface. For the first 2 weeks, hand wash around the decal and don't direct high-pressure spray at the edges.
- After 2 weeks, normal automatic car wash use is fine. Clean the decal face with mild soap and water. Do not use abrasive cleaners, solvent-based products, or wax directly on the printed surface, as these break down the UV-cured ink layer over time.
- To remove the decal, apply low heat from a heat gun and peel slowly from one corner. Adhesive residue left on the bumper wipes off with rubbing alcohol or Goo Gone without pulling factory paint.
