How to orderSpecifications
Custom Indoor Banners run on PVC Flex vinyl in 11 oz or 16 oz weights, printed full-color in CMYK for lobbies, hallways, offices, and indoor events. The smooth surface holds ink evenly and reads crisp at typical indoor viewing distances without UV-resistant coating, which keeps the cost per square foot lower than outdoor-rated materials.
- Material
- PVC Flex vinyl.A smooth, flat surface that holds ink evenly and looks clean under indoor lighting.
- Print Method
- Eco-solvent or UV inkjet. Both methods bond full-color ink to the vinyl surface and stay sharp at normal indoor viewing distances.
- Color Output
- CMYK full color.CMYK uses cyan, magenta, yellow, and black to reproduce most brand colors within standard gamut.
- Finishing
- Brass grommets every 2 ft. Pole pockets along the top or bottom edge. Hem and heat weld. Each option suits a different mounting setup, from hooks and zip ties to rods and frames.
- Size Range
- Fully custom sizes available.Banners wider or taller than 10 ft include a heat-welded seam where two panels join.

- Single-sided standard. Double-sided available with a blockout liner. The blockout liner is a white layer between the two printed faces that stops show-through.
- Weight
- 11 oz or 16 oz.The 11 oz costs less per square foot. The 16 oz is thicker and hangs flat on larger displays without curling.

Smooth Finish That Reads Clean Under Indoor Lighting
PVC Flex vinyl at 11 oz carries a flat, smooth surface that holds ink evenly across the full print area. That matters under fluorescent and LED lighting, where texture variation in heavier outdoor vinyl can scatter light and soften your text. The 11 oz weight is the lightest material A2Z Printing Hub carries, and it costs less per square foot than any other vinyl option we offer. Sharp colors. Clean edges. No unwanted glare bouncing off your lobby wall.
Every Finishing Option Included: Grommets, Pole Pockets, or Hem
Brass grommets (rust-resistant metal rings punched into the banner edges) sit every 2 ft along the border so you can hang with hooks or zip ties. Pole pockets run along the top or bottom edge and let you slide a rod straight through. Hem and heat weld folds and seals each edge with heat for a sturdy, reinforced border that fits frames cleanly. All three finishing options are included at no extra charge, so your hanging hardware decides the finish, not your budget.
Free Digital Proof and Same-Day Production
We send a free digital proof within 24 hours of your order so you see exactly what prints before anything goes to press. Orders approved before 12 PM EST go into production the same day, which means your banner ships without sitting in a queue. But the proof step isn't just a formality. It catches color shifts and layout issues before they become a reprinted order. Tight deadline? Place your order early in the day and we move it the same afternoon.
Customer reviews

The indoor banner we received for our retail store is fantastic. It's eye-catching without being overwhelming, exactly what an indoor banner should be.
Very pleased with the indoor banner we ordered for our school event. It was easy to hang and looked great as an indoor banner.
Needed a welcoming indoor banner for our church entrance. This one is just right – clear printing and a nice, clean look for an indoor banner.

Ideal for
Not the Best Fit For
Trade show backdrops where drape quality and zero glare matter more than cost. Fabric Banners in 230 GSM polyester handle that job better and show no surface reflection under spotlights.
Temporary window displays that need repositioning or clean removal. Window Decals in cling format are the right choice there.
Long-term outdoor signage exposed to rain or direct sun for more than a few days. Custom Outdoor Banners carry UV-resistant inks rated for that use.
How to choose
Use these buying points to choose the right Custom Indoor Banners configuration.
-
11 oz vs 16 oz for Your Indoor Space
The 11 oz PVC Flex vinyl (a smooth, flat vinyl material) handles the vast majority of indoor jobs well. It costs less per square foot, lays flat against lobby walls, and reads clean under fluorescent and LED lighting. Go with 16 oz only when your banner is wide enough that the added thickness helps it hang without curling at the lower edge. Start at 11 oz and move up only if your display runs wider than roughly 8 ft without any rod support.
-
The Right Finishing for How You Plan to Hang It
Grommets placed every 2 ft work for most wall mounts, ceiling drops, and zip-tie setups. But if you're sliding the banner onto a curtain track or hanging rod, choose pole pockets along the top edge instead. Hem and heat weld suits frame-grip mounting, where the hardware clamps the border rather than hooks through rings. Match your finish to the hardware you already own before you order.
-
Knowing When a Seam Is Part of Your Order
Any banner with a width or height over 10 ft includes a heat-welded seam where two panels join. The seam holds flat and does not gap. Plan your layout so no headline text or centered logo sits directly on that line. Note the seam location in your order comments when you upload the file.
-
Vinyl vs Fabric for Your Indoor Display
-
When Vinyl Makes Sense
Flat wall mounts on a budget. The 11 oz surface holds color evenly and keeps cost per square foot lower than fabric alternatives.
-
When Fabric Makes More Sense
Fabric Banners in 230 GSM polyester drape naturally and show zero glare under spotlights. That matters for trade show backdrops and photo walls. If the display needs to drape or hang freely, fabric is the right call.
Pair it with
Display Hardware for Your Indoor Setup
Your banner looks its best when the mounting solution matches the space. Banner Stands hold the vinyl upright without wall hardware, which makes them ideal for lobbies and booth setups. A Table Cover below the banner finishes a reception desk or event table in the same visual line.
When Drape and Matte Finish Matter More
Vinyl hangs flat and costs less. But if your display calls for soft drape and zero glare under spotlights, a different material does the job better. Fabric Banners in 230 GSM polyester absorb light rather than reflect it, which matters most at trade show backdrops and photo walls.
Need the Same Look Outdoors?
Custom Outdoor Banners carry UV-resistant inks rated for 6 to 12 months in direct sun, so you can match the indoor design across both locations. For glass surfaces near the same display, Window Decals in cling format let you brand without permanent adhesive.
FAQs
Will My Indoor Banner Look Sharp Up Close, or Will the Print Look Soft?
Print quality depends on resolution at the size you order. We recommend 300 DPI at final print size for any banner under 4 ft, because that's the range where viewers step close enough to notice a soft edge. Eco-solvent and UV inkjet printing both bond ink directly to the PVC Flex surface, so colors stay crisp at normal indoor viewing distances. You'll also see a free digital proof before anything prints, which lets you catch any softness before production starts.
Can I Order a Custom Indoor Banner in a Size That Isn't Listed on the Site?
Yes. We print fully custom dimensions, not just standard sizes. Use the configurator to type in your exact width and height. Worth knowing: any banner with a width or height over 10 ft includes a heat-welded seam, so factor that into your layout before you upload.
What Happens If My Banner Arrives With a Print Defect or Shipping Damage?
Contact us with a photo of the damage and we send a free reprint. We do not ask you to ship the defective banner back. The replacement goes into production the same business day we confirm the issue, so you're not waiting another full cycle.
How Do I Hang a Wide Indoor Banner So It Stays Flat Without Sagging in the Middle?
Grommets every 2 ft along the top edge give you enough anchor points to distribute tension evenly. For banners wider than roughly 8 ft, add a bottom row of grommets too and run a second line of zip ties or cord through them. That lower tension keeps the center from bowing outward under the banner's own weight.
Is the Double-Sided Option Worth It for a Lobby Display, or Will One Side Show Through?
The blockout liner (a white layer bonded between the two printed faces) stops bleed-through completely. Each side reads as its own clean image. Double-sided is worth the added cost any time your banner hangs where foot traffic passes both faces, such as a freestanding lobby display or a banner suspended from a ceiling beam.
Get your artwork right
File format sets the starting point. We accept PDF, PNG, JPG, and AI files. AI (vector format) is the best choice for logos because vector art scales to any size without losing a crisp edge.
- Resolution
- Resolution at final print size should sit at 150 DPI minimum. Go to 300 DPI for any banner under 4 ft, because that's the range where viewers get close enough to spot a soft line. Bleed (extra artwork beyond the cut edge) needs to run 0.25 in on all four sides. Keep all text and logos inside the safe zone, which sits 0.5 in from the trim line on every edge.
- Color mode
- Color mode must be CMYK. CMYK is the 4-color process using cyan, magenta, yellow, and black that matches how we actually print. RGB files look different on screen than they do on vinyl, and the conversion can shift your brand colors in ways the proof won't fully catch until it's too late.

Care instructions
Product care
- Wipe the vinyl surface with a damp cloth and mild soap. Do not use abrasive cleaners or scrub pads, which scratch the printed surface and dull the finish over time.
- Do not machine wash vinyl banners. The heat and agitation crack the ink and warp the material. Roll the banner around a tube for storage rather than folding it, because fold lines in vinyl are hard to remove once set. Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. If the banner arrives with fold lines from shipping, lay it flat in a warm room for about 30 minutes and the vinyl will relax on its own.
