How to orderSpecifications
3-Sided Table Covers With Open Back run on 8.8 oz tension fabric and cover the front panel and both side panels with full-color dye sublimation printing. The back stays fully open. These covers suit any staffed table where storage access matters and the back faces a wall.
- Material
- 8.8 oz tension fabric (woven polyester, heavier than a standard tablecloth). Machine washable cold, tumble dry low. Resists bunching during a full event day.
- Print Method
- Dye sublimation at 300 DPI. Ink bonds into fabric fibers permanently and does not crack, peel, or fade with washing.
- Color Output
- CMYK full color across all 3 printed panels. Text stays readable and logos stay sharp from across a 10 ft booth aisle.
- Finishing
- Hemmed edges on all panels prevent fraying after repeated washing and folding. Fitted corners keep the cover seated without shifting.
- Size Range
- Available for standard 4 ft, 6 ft, and 8 ft rectangular folding tables. Select your table length at checkout.
- Indoor/Outdoor Rating
- Suited for indoor use and light outdoor use with shelter overhead. Colors hold through 50 or more washes. Lifespan runs roughly 2 to 4 years with regular use and proper care.
- Coverage
- Front panel and both side panels drape to the floor. Back is fully open for staff seating and under-table storage access.
- Weight
- Roughly 2 to 4 lbs depending on table size. Folds flat and fits inside a tote bag for easy transport between events.

8.8 oz Tension Fabric With a Smooth Fitted Finish
Eight-point-eight ounce tension fabric sits at a weight that holds its shape across a full event day. It's a woven polyester material heavier than a standard tablecloth. Lighter covers bunch at the corners and lift when someone brushes the table edge. This one drapes flat to the floor and stays there. A2Z Printing Hub runs this fabric on every standard table cover we produce because the weight earns its keep: no repositioning mid-show, no tucking, no bunching at the base.
Full-Color Dye Sublimation Across All 3 Printed Panels
Dye sublimation bonds ink directly into the fabric fibers under heat rather than sitting on top. The result: a permanent graphic that won't crack or peel after repeated washing. We print at 300 DPI across the front panel and both side panels. Your logo stays crisp and color-accurate through 50 or more machine washes, so one cover carries you through roughly 2 to 4 years of regular show seasons. Bold colors. Sharp edges. No fading.
Open Back That Stays Hidden When the Table Faces a Wall
Fully enclosed covers at staffed tables create a problem: staff spend half the day wrestling with a back panel every time they need a bag, a box, or a chair. The open back solves that. Front and both side panels drape to the floor, giving attendees a fully branded surface from every angle they see. The back stays open but invisible when the table sits against a booth backwall. Staff reaches storage underneath without lifting the cover or breaking the branded look facing the audience.
Customer reviews
The quality is decent for the price, and they serve their purpose well.
A good, affordable way to dress up our tables and make them look more presentable.
For quick events where we need a clean look without needing to access the back constantly, these work great.
They're lightweight and very simple to put on and take off our tables. Makes setup and teardown a breeze.
These table covers with the open back are perfect for our trade show booths. They look professional from the front while allowing easy access to storage underneath.
Ideal for
Not the best fit for
Tables sitting in the center of a room where attendees walk all 4 sides need full coverage on every angle. Choose **4-Sided Table Covers** to keep the back finished from every direction.
Buyers who want sewn corners that hug the table shape tightly rather than draping loosely should look at **Fitted Table Covers** instead.
And if a spandex-tight, wrinkle-free finish is the goal, **Stretch Table Covers** give you that skin-tight modern look this standard drape does not.
How to choose
Use these buying points to choose the right 3-Sided Table Covers With Open Back configuration.
-
Your Table's Position in the Booth Decides Coverage First
The open back on this cover stays invisible only when your table sits against a wall, a booth backwall, or a tent sidewall. If attendees can walk behind your table, the open panel is visible.
Choose 4-Sided Table Covers when your table sits in open space on all 4 sides. Choose this 3-sided open back when your table back faces a wall and staff needs to reach chairs, bags, and boxes underneath without lifting the cover.
-
Fit Type Comes After You've Settled on Coverage
Standard loose drape sets up in seconds: place the cover over the table and smooth it flat. No stretching, no tucking. That said, it does drape loosely rather than hugging the table corners.
Go with Fitted Table Covers if you want sewn corners that sit flush against the table edge. Go with Stretch Table Covers if you want a spandex-tight, wrinkle-free finish from every angle. Start with standard if this is your first cover. It fits a range of tables within each size category and is the most forgiving option on setup day.
-
Table Length Is a Straight Measurement Call
Measure your table before ordering. Most trade show and conference tables run 6 ft long. That's the most common size.
Order the 6 ft cover for a 6 ft table, the 8 ft cover for an 8 ft table, and the 4 ft cover for smaller registration or display tables. Standard covers drape loosely, so they tolerate slight size variation within each category. But do not order a 6 ft cover for an 8 ft table. The drop length (roughly 29 in from table edge to floor) will fall short on the longer table.

Confirming the Open Back Works for Your Specific Layout
Here's the thing: the open back works when your setup keeps it out of attendee sightlines. Check your booth floor plan before ordering.
If your table sits against the back wall of a 10x10 ft booth, the open back stays completely hidden. And if your table is center-room or in an open island layout, order the 4-Sided Table Cover instead. The open back does not close, so the layout decision is permanent once you're on-site.
Pair it with
Build Vertical Branding Behind the Table
Your table cover handles the surface. Retractable Banner Stands add eye-level messaging directly behind it, so attendees see layered branding from 10 to 15 ft away. Custom Flags flanking the booth entrance pull attention from across the venue before anyone reaches your table.
Add a Second Branding Layer on Top
Table Runners and Toppers lay across the front panel with your logo centered. You get a two-layer branded surface without replacing the full cover. It's a simple way to rotate seasonal messaging without ordering a new cover each time.
Cover All 4 Sides When the Layout Changes
Not every venue positions your table against a wall. 4-Sided Table Covers enclose all 4 sides for center-room setups where attendees walk around every angle. Fitted Table Covers give a tailored, snug finish for buyers who want sewn corners instead of a loose drape.
Complete the Outdoor Booth Setup
Custom Canopy Tents cover the table and your team overhead at festivals and outdoor fairs. Tabletop Displays sit on the table surface for product demos and printed collateral, keeping the branded front panel fully visible to passing attendees.
FAQs
Get your artwork right
This cover prints across 3 separate panels: front, left side, and right side. Each panel is a distinct printable surface, so your design file needs to account for all 3. Use the panel template at checkout to place your logo correctly on each surface without guessing at proportions.
- Accepted Formats
- PDF, PNG, JPG, AI (vector preferred for logos with fine lines or small text).
- Resolution
- Minimum 150 DPI. We recommend 300 DPI (dots per inch, the measure of print sharpness) on panels under 4 ft wide, where attendees get close enough to spot a soft edge.
- Bleed
- 0.25 in on all panel edges so color runs to the hem without a white gap at the border.
- Safe Zone
- Keep logos and text at least 0.5 in from each edge to avoid trimming or hemming.
- Color Mode
- CMYK. RGB files convert to CMYK at production and colors may shift slightly. Submit CMYK files for accurate color output that matches your screen.
Not sure where to start? Our free online design tool walks you through panel placement with built-in templates. Or our professional design service handles the file from scratch. Submit your table cover logo and our team sends you a free digital proof showing your branding on each printed panel.

Care instructions
Product care
- Machine wash cold with mild detergent. Tumble dry on low heat. Do not bleach. The dye sublimation print bonds directly into the 8.8 oz tension fabric fibers, so it doesn't crack or peel with repeated washing.
- Spot-treat stains with mild stain remover before washing. The fabric resists most liquid stains if you wipe promptly at the event.
- Fold loosely between events. Tight compression causes deep creases that take longer to fall out. Hang on a hanger in a closet if space allows, since gravity removes most wrinkles over about 24 hours.
- If wrinkles appear, iron on low heat on the reverse side only. Do not iron directly on the printed surface.
