How to orderSpecifications
Custom Real Estate Banners print on PVC Flex vinyl (a smooth, glossy vinyl built for outdoor signage) in two weight options. Both weights handle fence and facade mounting with full-color CMYK output. Here's what's under the hood.
- Material
- PVC Flex vinyl.Smooth, glossy surface resists moisture and holds ink without cracking over the listing period.
- Print Method
- Eco-solvent or UV inkjet. Both bond weather-resistant inks directly to the vinyl so colors stay bold through rain and direct sun.
- Color Output
- CMYK full color. The 4-color process (cyan, magenta, yellow, black) reproduces sharp text and most brand colors within standard gamut.
- Finishing
- Brass grommets every 2 ft (standard). Pole pockets and hem and heat weld also available.Grommets are the fastest option for fence mounting with zip ties or bungee cords.
- Size Range
- Custom sizing available. Banners over 10 ft in width or height include a welded seam. The seam keeps the panel structurally flat at larger formats.
- Indoor/Outdoor Rating
- Rated for both. Outdoor banners with UV-resistant inks typically last 6 to 12 months in direct sun, longer in partial shade.
- Single/Double-Sided
- Single-sided standard. Double-sided uses a blockout liner between print faces to prevent show-through.Both sides read cleanly from the street.
- Weight
- 11 oz or 16 oz.Choose 11 oz for short-term or covered outdoor spots. Choose 16 oz for exposed fences and longer listings.

Repeat-Order Ready: Grommets, Seams, and Finishing Built for Listing Cycles
Brass grommets punch into the banner edges every 2 ft. That gives you solid hang points for zip ties, bungee cords, or rope across the full width. Banners wider or taller than 10 ft get a welded seam along the panel join so the face stays flat on a fence or facade through the full listing period. No sagging. No pull-through at the corners. That matters when a listing runs for weeks and you can't be on-site daily to adjust hardware.
Eco-Solvent and UV Inkjet Printing on PVC Flex Vinyl
Eco-solvent inks bond directly to the vinyl surface without cracking or peeling. UV inkjet inks do the same. Both hold color outdoors for roughly 6 to 12 months, so your for-sale sign stays sharp from listing day through closing. A2Z Printing Hub runs both methods on PVC Flex vinyl, so the ink choice matches your banner's mounting location and expected run time. Weather resistance is the core benefit here. Turnaround speed gets its full treatment in Shipping.
Single-Sided or Double-Sided with Blockout Liner
Double-sided banners use a blockout liner (a white opaque layer bonded between the two print faces). It stops the front image from bleeding through to the back, so both sides read cleanly from the street. That matters at a driveway entrance where traffic approaches from two directions. Single-sided is standard for flat fence or wall mounts where only one face is visible. Crisp lettering on both sides. Done right.

Needed a few real estate banners for our listings. These are great quality and really stand out. Excellent real estate banner option.

Ideal for
Not the Best Fit For
Polished indoor lobby displays where a matte, drape-free finish matters more than cost. Fabric Banners handle that job better under interior lighting.
Temporary window displays that need repositioning between showings. Window Decals (cling type) are the right call there.
High-wind fence lines on scaffolding or tall perimeter fencing where solid vinyl tears under sustained load. Specialty Mesh Banners let wind pass through without damage.
How to choose
Use these buying points to choose the right Custom Real Estate Banners configuration.
-
Weight Comes Down to Where the Banner Hangs
Short-term indoor open house signage fits 11 oz vinyl cleanly. Covered outdoor spots, like a carport entrance or a shaded gate, also work fine at 11 oz for a weekend showing. But any banner going up on an exposed fence or building facade for more than a few weeks needs 16 oz. Most agents default to 16 oz for outdoor listings without a second thought.
The heavier material holds flat under wind load and doesn't pull loose at the grommets mid-listing. Worth knowing before you pick.
-
Single-Sided or Double-Sided Depends on Your Mounting Point
Single-sided works for any banner mounted flat against a fence or wall where only one face is visible from the street. Order double-sided with a blockout liner (a white layer between the two print faces that stops image bleed) when the banner hangs free and traffic approaches from both directions. A driveway entrance is the clearest example: cars coming in see one face, cars leaving see the other. Add double-sided to your cart before checkout.
-
Sizing Your Banner for the Viewing Distance
Here's the thing: letter height matters more than banner size. A fence-mounted banner reads clearly at roughly 1 inch of letter height per 10 ft of viewing distance. So a banner visible from 30 ft needs lettering at least 3 inches tall. For a building facade visible from across a parking lot or street, size up and let the configurator calculate seam placement for formats wider or taller than 10 ft.
-
Finishing Matches How You Plan to Mount
Brass grommets every 2 ft are the fastest option for fence mounting with zip ties or bungee cords. Pole pockets work better when you plan to slide the banner onto a horizontal rod above a doorway or gate. Hem and heat weld (folded, heat-sealed edges with no hardware) suits frames or custom mounting setups. Select your finishing option in the configurator before uploading your file.
Pair it with
Finish the Property Entrance at Street Level
Your fence or facade banner covers the vertical space buyers see from the road. An A-Frame Sign sits at the sidewalk or driveway entrance and catches foot traffic at eye level, giving the listing two visible touchpoints from a single setup.
Alternative Materials for Indoor Listing Displays
Glossy vinyl reads well outdoors, but it can pick up glare under interior lighting in a lobby or open house foyer. Fabric Banners in 230 GSM polyester drape flat with a matte finish that looks cleaner indoors.
Heavier Weight for Long-Term or High-Wind Listings
Most agents do fine with 16 oz for a standard outdoor listing. But for a property that stays active beyond a few months or sits on an exposed fence line with sustained wind, Custom Heavy Duty Banners are built for that load.

Banners hold the property. Custom Flags draw attention from moving traffic along the approach road. Canopy Tents shelter your table at outdoor open house events and keep your branded setup looking pulled together on site.
FAQs
Get your artwork right
File format sets the foundation. We accept PDF, PNG, JPG, and AI files. AI (vector format) is the best choice for logos because it scales to any banner size without losing edge quality.
- Bleed
- 0.25 in beyond the trim line on all four sides. Artwork that extends to the edge needs bleed so no white gaps appear after cutting.
- Safe zone
- 0.5 in inside the trim line for all text and logos. Anything outside this margin risks getting cut or lost in a grommet hole.
- Color mode
- CMYK, not RGB. CMYK (cyan, magenta, yellow, and black) is how we print. RGB files can shift colors unexpectedly when converted, so set your file to CMYK before uploading.
Resolution matters more on smaller banners. The minimum is 150 DPI (dots per inch, the measure of print sharpness). For any banner under 4 ft where viewers stand close, push to 300 DPI so text stays crisp at arm's length.
Our free online design tool includes real estate templates and handles bleed automatically. Need artwork built from scratch? Our professional design service covers that. Submit your banner artwork as a print-ready PDF and our team sends you a free digital proof within 24 hours.

Care instructions
Product care
- Wipe the print surface with a damp cloth and mild soap to remove dirt or debris. Do not machine wash vinyl banners. Machine washing breaks down the ink bond and can crack the material along fold lines.
- Roll your banner for storage rather than folding it. Fold lines in vinyl are tough to remove and can distort the print over time. Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sun when the banner is not in use.
- And if a crease forms during shipping, lay the banner flat in direct sunlight for about 30 minutes. The vinyl relaxes back to flat on its own.
