Custom Banners - FAQ
Vinyl banners printed with UV-resistant inks typically hold color outdoors for 6 to 12 months in direct sun. The 13 oz weight handles most standard outdoor runs. For high-wind spots or displays staying up near that 12-month mark, 16 oz PVC Flex is the better call. Fabric is not rated for prolonged outdoor use and works best indoors.
Every order gets a free digital proof within 24 hours so you can check colors before production starts. We print in CMYK full color (cyan, magenta, yellow, and black), which matches most brand colors within standard gamut. If your file uses RGB or Pantone colors, convert to CMYK before uploading for the closest match. Production does not start until you approve the proof.
We reprint it at no charge. Contact us with a photo of the damage and your order number, and we get a replacement into production quickly. This covers misprints and shipping damage.
Grommets are the most common method. Brass grommets spaced every 2 ft along the edges let you hang with hooks, zip ties, bungee cords, or rope. Pole pockets along the top or bottom edge work for rods and poles. And if you ordered hem and heat weld finishing, a frame or tension system holds the edges flat without hardware.
Standard production runs 1 to 2 business days after proof approval. Orders approved before 12 PM EST go into production the same day. Shipping time depends on your location and the carrier option you select at checkout.
