Custom Event Banners - FAQ
Production runs 1 to 2 business days on standard orders. Place your order before 12 PM EST and same-day production kicks in, shaving a full day off the timeline. Most event banners reach buyers within 3 to 5 business days total including transit. Rush shipping options are also available at checkout if the event date is tight.
The short answer: it depends on the resolution you upload. We recommend 300 DPI for any photo-heavy layout at 3 ft x 5 ft or larger. Phone photos taken in the last few years often meet that threshold, but older compressed images can look soft at full size. You'll see the photo placement on your free digital proof before anything prints, so you can catch a blurry upload before it becomes a blurry banner.
You pick the material at checkout on each product page, not before. Vinyl works for outdoor yard displays and any setup where the banner faces wind or rain. Fabric suits indoor receptions and photo walls where you want a softer, textile look. The 16 oz vinyl handles outdoor conditions well. Fabric folds flat for storage and doesn't crease the way vinyl can.
We send a free digital proof within 24 hours of your order. That proof shows every name, date, and photo placement exactly as it will print. You approve it before production starts. If a banner still arrives damaged or the colors do not match the approved proof, we reprint it at no charge.
Grommets (brass rings punched into the banner edges roughly every 2 ft) are standard on vinyl banners and work with hooks, zip ties, or rope. For walls where you can't use nails, adhesive hook strips rated for the banner weight are a common fix. Pole pockets along the top or bottom edge for sliding a rod through are available on request. They work well for fabric banners hung from a curtain rod or tension pole.
