- Wipe the vinyl surface with a damp cloth and mild soap to remove dirt or smudges. Do not machine wash vinyl banners. The vinyl surface holds up fine to a gentle wipe-down, but machine washing loosens the hem and can crack the ink layer.
- Roll the banner loosely for storage rather than folding it. Folding creates crease lines that typically do not fully relax once the banner is rehung. Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sun, since heat and UV exposure shorten the vinyl's life even when the banner is not in use. And if a crease forms during transport, lay the banner flat in direct sunlight for roughly 30 minutes. The vinyl relaxes and the crease usually disappears without any tools.
