A single 230 GSM fabric banner is machine washable and reusable across 10 or more events without reprinting. Vinyl is not washable and can crack when folded repeatedly. If you're reusing the banner more than twice, fabric costs less per use over time.
Fabric banners ship folded, not rolled, so light wrinkles on arrival are normal. Hang the banner for roughly 30 minutes and most wrinkles release on their own. A handheld steamer clears stubborn creases in under 10 minutes before display. Unlike vinyl, 230 GSM polyester does not crease permanently when folded.
Yes. Dye sublimation forces ink directly into the polyester fibers at high heat, so the image is not sitting on the surface where washing can lift it. Wash cold with mild detergent, tumble dry on low, and the print stays crisp. Do not use bleach or fabric softener, as both affect dye sublimation ink over time.
Vinyl reflects light back toward viewers, which creates hot spots (bright glare patches) under fluorescent or LED booth lighting. The 230 GSM polyester surface absorbs light instead of bouncing it, so graphics read clearly for visitors standing 3 ft to 5 ft away. That difference matters most in trade show halls where overhead lighting is direct and unavoidable.
