How to orderSpecifications
Custom Now Hiring Banners print on PVC Flex vinyl, a smooth, glossy outdoor material that resists moisture and keeps ink bonded through sun and rain. Two weight options cover indoor light-duty use and heavy-duty outdoor mounting. Choose 11 oz for sheltered or short-term placement, or 16 oz when the banner stays up through multiple hiring cycles.
- Material
- PVC Flex vinyl.Smooth, glossy surface bonds ink tightly and resists moisture through months of outdoor exposure.
- Print Method
- Eco-solvent or UV inkjet. Both methods produce weather-resistant color that holds outdoors for 6 to 12 months without fading or peeling.
- Color Output
- CMYK full color (cyan, magenta, yellow, and black combined to match most brand colors). You receive a free digital proof before we print, so color accuracy is confirmed first.
- Finishing
- Brass grommets every 2 ft. Pole pockets and hem and heat weld also available.Brass grommets are the fastest option for fence or wall mounting with zip ties or rope.
- Size Range
- 2 ft x 3 ft up to 20 ft x 100 ft, fully custom.Banners exceeding 10 ft in width or height include a welded seam for structural support.
- Indoor/Outdoor Rating
- Rated for both. Outdoor banners hold color 6 to 12 months in direct sun.Indoor banners last longer because they avoid weather exposure entirely.
- Single/Double-Sided
- Single-sided standard. Double-sided uses a blockout layer (a white layer between front and back prints) to prevent show-through.Order double-sided only when both faces are visible, such as a banner suspended above an entrance.
- Weight
- 11 oz for indoor or light-duty outdoor use. 16 oz for heavy-duty outdoor locations or banners reused across multiple hiring cycles. The heavier the weight, the longer it holds shape through takedowns and remounts.

Ideal for
Not the Best Fit For
Polished indoor trade show backdrops where a matte, drape-quality surface matters more than cost. Fabric Banners handle that job better.
Temporary window displays that need repositioning or removal without leaving residue. Window Decals in cling format are the right call there.
High-wind fence or scaffolding locations where solid vinyl catches too much air and risks tearing. Specialty Mesh Banners let wind pass through without damage.
How to choose
Use these buying points to choose the right Custom Now Hiring Banners configuration.
-
Vinyl Weight Matches Your Mounting Location
Here's the thing: 11 oz works for sheltered spots and single-cycle indoor hiring drives. But if your banner mounts on a storefront facade or a chain-link fence and stays through rain, sun, and multiple takedowns, 16 oz is the right call. The heavier vinyl holds its shape through repeated remounts without fraying at the grommets or edges. Most storefront owners land on 16 oz because a hiring push rarely happens just once.
-
Banner Size Depends on Viewing Distance and Wall Space
A 3 ft x 6 ft banner reads clearly from roughly 25 ft away. That covers most single-door storefronts and sidewalk-facing walls. Step up to a 4 ft x 8 ft if your building facade runs wider or if drivers passing at speed need to catch the message. Banners wider or taller than 10 ft include a welded seam at no extra charge. That heat-fused join keeps the panel flat under tension.
-
Finishing Comes Down to How You Plan to Hang It
-
Grommets Work for Most Setups
Brass grommets punch in every 2 ft along the hem. Hang with zip ties, bungee cords, or rope in under five minutes. That's the fastest option for fence or wall mounting.
-
Pole Pockets and Heat Weld Suit Specific Rigs
Choose pole pockets (fabric sleeves along the top or bottom edge) when you want a rod running through for a cleaner look. Hem and heat weld works best when the banner slides into a track or frame system.
-
Single-Sided Covers Nearly Every Hiring Banner Need
Single-sided is the right call for any banner facing one direction from a storefront, fence, or building wall. Order double-sided with a blockout layer only when the banner hangs in open air where both faces are visible. A banner above a parking lot entrance or suspended from a canopy overhang is about the only case that needs it.
Pair it with
Catch Applicants at Two Heights Simultaneously
Your now hiring banner covers the entrance above. An A-Frame Sign at the curb catches pedestrians at eye level. Applicants see your message from two directions before they step inside.
Add Motion That Pulls Eyes Down the Block
Custom Flags flanking your storefront entrance move with the breeze. They draw attention from farther down the block than a flat banner alone can reach.
Build a Full Hiring or Opening Campaign at Once
These banners share the same PVC Flex vinyl and finishing options. Order a consistent set in one go without mismatched materials.
Branded Space for Outdoor Job Fairs
A now hiring banner marks your location from across the venue. Pair it with a Canopy Tent so applicants have a covered, branded spot to stop and talk.
FAQs
How Many Remount Cycles Does a Now Hiring Banner Hold Up Through?
A 16 oz PVC Flex vinyl banner holds through roughly 4 to 6 remount cycles without fraying at the hem or loosening around the grommets. Kevin S. in Florida reused the same 16 oz banner across 4 hiring cycles with no edge damage. And if you store it rolled rather than folded between cycles, the vinyl stays flat and ready for the next posting.
Will the Colors on My Banner Match My Brand Logo?
Color accuracy depends on your file and the color mode you submit. Send artwork in CMYK (the 4-color process using cyan, magenta, yellow, and black) and most brand colors land within a close match on the first proof. We send a free digital proof within 24 hours so you can check the colors before we print a single inch of vinyl. Do not approve the proof until the reds, navies, or any other brand-critical tones look right on screen.
What Happens if My Banner Arrives Damaged or the Print Looks Wrong?
We reprint it at no charge. The reprint covers any banner that arrives with physical damage or a print that does not match your approved proof. Contact us with a photo of the issue and we start the reprint process right away.
Can I Get a Custom Now Hiring Banner Fast Enough for This Week's Hiring Push?
Yes. Orders approved before 12 PM EST go into production the same day, and standard production runs 1 to 2 business days. Shipping time depends on your location and the carrier you select at checkout. Order early in the week and most storefronts in the continental US have the banner up within a few days.
Do I Need Different Vinyl Weights for an Indoor Break Room Versus an Outdoor Storefront?
The short answer is yes. An indoor break room or hallway works fine with 11 oz vinyl, which costs less and still gives you bold, crisp full-color print. An outdoor storefront needs 16 oz because UV exposure, wind, and moisture will wear through lighter vinyl faster. Ordering both at once is common for businesses that run simultaneous indoor and outdoor hiring campaigns.
Get your artwork right
Resolution determines how crisp your "Now Hiring" headline looks at street distance. We accept PDF, PNG, JPG, and AI files. AI (vector format) works best for logos because it scales without losing edge sharpness at any size.
- Minimum resolution
- 150 DPI for large banners viewed from 10 ft or more away. Set your file to 300 DPI for banners under 4 ft where applicants walk close enough to spot a soft edge.
- Bleed
- 0.25 in beyond the trim line on all four sides prevents white slivers after cutting.
- Safe zone
- Keep all text and logos at least 0.5 in inside the trim line so nothing gets cut off during finishing.
- Color mode
- Submit files in CMYK, not RGB. CMYK matches how our presses mix ink, so the colors you see on screen come out as expected on the printed vinyl. RGB files shift during conversion and can throw off brand colors.

Care instructions
Product care
- Wipe the vinyl surface with a damp cloth and mild soap to remove dirt or grime. Do not machine wash. Scrubbing with abrasive materials scratches the ink surface and shortens outdoor life.
- Roll the banner for storage rather than folding it. Fold lines in vinyl do not fully relax, even after hanging. Store rolled in a cool, dry place away from direct sun. If a crease forms during shipping, lay the banner flat in direct sunlight for roughly 30 minutes. The vinyl typically relaxes and the crease disappears on its own.
