How to orderSpecifications
Custom Coming Soon Banners print on PVC Flex vinyl in your choice of 11 oz or 16 oz. Both weights handle indoor and outdoor use. The 16 oz is the right call for storefronts and fences where the banner stays up through changing weather for months.
- Material
- PVC Flex vinyl.A smooth, glossy outdoor surface that resists moisture and UV exposure across both weight options.
- Print Method
- Eco-solvent or UV inkjet. Both methods bond weather-resistant inks directly to vinyl so colors hold outdoors without cracking or peeling.
- Color Output
- CMYK full color (cyan, magenta, yellow, and black combined).Reproduces most brand colors accurately within the standard printing gamut.
- Finishing
- Brass grommets every 2 ft. Pole pockets (fabric sleeves along the top or bottom edge for rod mounting). Hem and heat weld (heat-sealed edges for frame-mounted installs).Pick the option that matches your mounting surface.
- Size Range
- Custom sizes available.Banners over 10 ft in width or height include a welded seam at no extra charge.
- Indoor/Outdoor Rating
- Rated for both.Outdoor banners with UV-resistant inks typically last 6 to 12 months in direct sun. Indoor banners last longer.
- Single/Double-Sided
- Single-sided is standard. Double-sided uses a blockout layer (a white middle layer that stops ink from showing through to the back) so both faces print cleanly.
- Weight
- 11 oz for indoor use or short-term outdoor display up to about 1 to 3 months. 16 oz for longer outdoor runs or locations with sustained wind.

Pre-Launch Messaging Printed on Tough PVC Flex Vinyl
PVC Flex vinyl runs 11 oz or 16 oz on every coming soon banner we print. It's a smooth, glossy outdoor material built for signage. The heavier 16 oz weight holds flat against a facade or fence through rain, sustained wind, and direct sun. Eco-solvent or UV inkjet inks bond directly to the vinyl surface so your coming soon message stays sharp from hang day until your grand opening arrives. Fading before opening day is not a risk you should carry.
Brass Grommets Every 2 ft for Fast Outdoor Mounting
Grommets are brass rings punched into the banner edges every 2 ft along the perimeter. That spacing lets you attach the banner with zip ties, bungee cords, or rope in minutes. And the reinforced hem and heat weld (a heat-sealed edge that locks the border) keeps corners from fraying under tension. Most buyers hang a 3 ft x 6 ft banner solo in under 10 minutes. No installer needed.
Free Digital Proof Before We Print a Single Banner
A2Z Printing Hub sends you a free digital proof within 24 hours of your order. You check the colors, layout, and text before anything goes to print. That step catches font errors, color shifts, and spacing problems that would otherwise show up on your storefront. Nothing prints until you approve it. That is not a formality. It's the step that keeps a reprint off your timeline.

Ideal for
Not the best fit for
Indoor trade show backdrops where a matte, drape-friendly surface matters more than cost. Fabric Banners handle that better.
Temporary window displays that need repositioning or clean removal. Window Decals in cling format are the right call there.
High-wind fence lines where wind pass-through is needed to prevent tearing. Specialty Mesh Banners are built for that.
How to choose
Use these buying points to choose the right Custom Coming Soon Banners configuration.
-
Match the Vinyl Weight to Your Pre-Opening Timeline
Most coming soon windows run 4 to 8 weeks. 11 oz vinyl handles that comfortably for a sheltered storefront window or a recessed entrance. But if your facade faces direct sun all day, or your opening date shifts and the banner stays up past 3 months, go with 16 oz. It's thicker, holds tension better in sustained wind, and the ink stays bold longer. Add your weight choice in the configurator before uploading your file.
-
Pick the Finishing That Matches Your Mounting Spot
Grommets every 2 ft work for most fence lines, window frames, and wall mounts. You can hang the banner with zip ties or rope in roughly 10 minutes without tools. Choose pole pockets if you plan to slide the banner onto a horizontal rod above a doorway or across a wide storefront opening. Pick hem and heat weld only when you're mounting inside a rigid frame that grips all four edges.
-
Order Your Coming Soon and Grand Opening Banners Together
Ordering both at the same time from a single file keeps your logo, colors, and font consistent across the full launch sequence. And ordering together typically qualifies for volume pricing at 10 or more units, so the grand opening banner costs less than it would as a separate order later.
-
Size the Banner for Your Storefront or Fence Span
A 3 ft x 6 ft banner reads clearly from about 30 ft away, which covers most sidewalk-facing storefronts. For a facade or fence span wider than 8 ft, step up to a 4 ft x 8 ft or larger. Use the rule of 1 inch of letter height per 10 ft of viewing distance to size your text before you finalize the file. Get that wrong and the opening date is unreadable from the curb.
Pair it with
Cover the Full Launch Sequence
Your coming soon banner gets the pre-opening weeks covered. But the timeline doesn't stop there. Order alongside these to carry consistent branding from months out through opening day.
Claim the Sidewalk Too
A facade banner handles building-level visibility. Add ground-level touchpoints so foot traffic gets the message from multiple directions before they even reach your door.
Build a Covered Outdoor Presence
Hosting a pre-opening community event or pop-up? A branded tent gives you a covered footprint while the coming soon banner handles the building.
Move the Display Indoors
Got a lobby, leasing office, or interior window that needs a coming soon display? A banner stand holds vinyl upright without wall mounting hardware or holes in the drywall.
FAQs
Will Rain Damage My Banner Before the Opening Date Arrives?
No. Both 11 oz and 16 oz PVC Flex vinyl shed water without soaking through. The eco-solvent or UV inkjet inks bond directly to the vinyl surface so they don't wash off. Colors stay bold through repeated rain cycles. That said, if your banner faces standing water pooling at the bottom, grommets at the lower edge let water drain instead of collecting weight that strains the hem.
Can I Get My Logo and Brand Colors to Print Accurately?
Yes, and we send a free digital proof within 24 hours so you can check both before anything prints. We print in CMYK full color (cyan, magenta, yellow, and black combined), which reproduces most brand colors accurately within the standard printing gamut. Upload your logo in AI or PDF format at 300 DPI for the sharpest result on banners under 4 ft wide.
What Happens If the Banner Arrives Damaged or the Colors Look Wrong?
We reprint it at no charge. If the print does not match the approved proof, or the banner arrives with physical damage, contact us and we make it right. This is not a conditional promise. The free digital proof step exists specifically so color issues get caught before production, not after delivery.
How Fast Can I Get a Custom Coming Soon Banner If My Opening Is Close?
Orders approved before 12 PM EST enter production the same day. Standard production runs 1 to 2 business days, so most orders ship within 2 business days of approval. Honest answer: the proof approval step is where most delays happen. Approve fast and your storefront gets covered fast.
Do I Need Help Hanging the Banner, or Can I Do It Myself?
Most buyers hang their own banner in under 15 minutes. Brass grommets punched every 2 ft along the edges let you attach zip ties, bungee cords, or rope without any special hardware. For a wide facade, two people and a ladder handle it cleanly. If you chose pole pockets, slide a rod through the sleeve and hang from bracket hooks already in place.
Get your artwork right
- Accepted Formats
- PDF, PNG, JPG, or AI (Adobe Illustrator). AI files are vector-based, meaning logos and text scale to any banner size without losing sharpness.
- Resolution
- 150 DPI minimum. For banners under 4 ft where viewers stand close enough to spot a soft edge, 300 DPI is the right call.
- Bleed
- 0.25 in beyond the trim line on all four sides. Bleed (extra artwork past the cut edge) stops white borders from appearing after trimming.
- Safe Zone
- Keep all text and logos at least 0.5 in inside the trim line so nothing gets clipped during finishing.
- Color Mode
- Submit files in CMYK, not RGB. CMYK (cyan, magenta, yellow, and black combined) matches how our equipment prints, so the colors you see in your file come out accurately on vinyl. RGB files can shift toward orange or purple tones after conversion.

Care instructions
Product care
- Wipe the vinyl surface with a damp cloth and mild soap. Do not use abrasive cleaners or scrub pads. Those scratch the ink surface and dull the colors faster than outdoor exposure will.
- And do not machine wash vinyl banners. Hand-clean only. For storage, roll the banner around a tube rather than folding it. Fold creases in vinyl are harder to remove than roll curves.
- If a crease forms during shipping, lay the banner flat in direct sunlight for about 30 minutes. The vinyl relaxes and the crease typically flattens on its own before you mount it.
