How to orderSpecifications
Custom Bicycle Vinyl Decals are die-cut on 4 mil white PVC calendar film with permanent adhesive and UV-printed color. Every decal ships kiss-cut on a backing sheet, ready to apply to frames, forks, and rims. This product is built for cyclists who want precise, durable graphics shaped to fit thin tube geometry.

- Finishing
- Die-cut to custom shape, kiss-cut on backing sheet.Die-cut means we cut around your exact design outline rather than leaving a rectangle border.

4 mil PVC Calendar Film Cut to Frame Geometry
PVC calendar film (a thin, flexible vinyl sheet rated for outdoor use) runs exactly 4 mil thick on every decal we cut. That thickness matters on a bicycle frame. Thin enough to conform to curved tubes and fork legs without cracking or lifting at the edges. Thick enough to hold its shape through road grime and direct sun. A2Z Printing Hub die-cuts every decal to your exact outline, so the shape follows the contour of a narrow down tube or fork leg with no gaps and no overlap. Sharp corners. Clean edges.
720 DPI UV Printing on Permanent Adhesive Backing
UV printing cures ink instantly under ultraviolet light the moment it contacts the vinyl surface. At 720 DPI minimum, the result is bold, scratch-resistant color that does not need a separate laminate layer to hold outdoors. You get waterproof output that stays crisp through rain, mud, and 3 to 5 years of direct sun exposure. The permanent adhesive backing bonds firmly to painted aluminum, raw metal, and carbon fiber. Worth knowing: the adhesive removes cleanly with low heat and slow peeling, so you can swap graphics without damaging your frame's factory finish.
Kiss-Cut Backing Sheet for Clean, Bubble-Free Application
Kiss-cutting means we cut through the vinyl layer only and leave the backing sheet intact. Each decal peels away from the sheet in one clean pull without tearing or misalignment. No fumbling with transfer tape. No torn corners on a narrow fork leg decal. The backing sheet stays rigid during handling, which keeps thin, long decals flat until you're ready to apply them.

Ideal for
Not the best fit for
Cyclists who ride before dawn or after dark need more than standard white PVC vinyl. Go with Custom Reflective Bicycle Decals instead. Reflective vinyl bounces headlight beams back toward drivers in ways standard PVC cannot match.
Riders who need a decal they can remove and reapply daily, like a race number plate, should not use permanent adhesive. This product is not rated for repeated removal. A repositionable window cling cut to size is a closer fit for that use case.
Anyone needing full-frame coverage from head tube to dropout should talk to a local wrap installer. We cut decals for specific placement areas, not full-frame wraps.
How to choose
Use these buying points to choose the right Custom Bicycle Vinyl Decals configuration.
-
Placement on the Bike Determines the Shape You Need
Down tube, top tube, seat tube, fork legs, and rim sidewalls all have different widths and flat areas. Measure the flat section on each tube before uploading your file. Most road frame down tubes run roughly 4 in to 8 in long with a flat face of about 1.5 in to 2.5 in.
Fork legs run narrower, typically 1 in to 1.5 in across the flat. Enter your measured dimensions in the size configurator so the die-cut shape fits the tube without wrapping past the edge.
-
Daytime Versus Night Riding Determines the Material
Standard 4 mil white PVC vinyl looks sharp in sunlight and holds color for 3 to 5 years outdoors. But it does not bounce light back toward drivers after dark. If you ride before dawn or after dusk, choose Custom Reflective Bicycle Decals instead.
Reflective vinyl uses engineer-grade material that returns headlight beams directly toward the source, giving drivers a clear visual target. Standard PVC cannot do that.
-
Single Bike Versus Team Order Determines Quantity and Sizing Approach
For a single bike, order exactly the quantity you need per placement area. One down tube decal, one seat tube decal, two fork leg decals: that's it. For a cycling club or team ordering across 10 or more bikes, enter your total quantity at checkout.
Volume pricing applies automatically. Consistent sizing across the full team order keeps logo placement uniform on every frame, so the group looks cohesive at races and group rides.

This Product Versus Custom Bicycle Frame Decals
Here's the thing: both products use the same 4 mil PVC and permanent adhesive. Custom Bicycle Frame Decals focus specifically on frame tube placement and may include frame-specific sizing templates for common road and mountain profiles. This product covers any placement on the bike, including rim sidewalls and fork legs. If your order includes rim or fork decals alongside frame tube decals, stay on this page and handle everything in one order.
Pair it with
Add Night Visibility to Your Ride
Standard white PVC vinyl looks sharp in daylight but does not bounce light back toward drivers after dark. Custom Reflective Bicycle Decals use engineer-grade reflective vinyl (a material that returns headlight beams toward their source) so your bike stays visible on early-morning and late-evening rides. Order both in one session and your graphics match in shape and color across day and night conditions.
Cover the Whole Bike in One Order
Your frame tubes are handled here. Need rim sidewall and fork decals sized to frame-specific tube profiles? Custom Bicycle Frame Decals keeps everything in a single order with consistent sizing across every placement area.
Match Your Helmet to Your Frame
Custom Helmet Decals use the same 4 mil PVC and permanent adhesive as these frame decals. Your helmet graphics match your down tube and fork in color and finish. Die-cut to fit curved helmet surfaces the same way frame decals fit curved tubes.
Brand the Whole Shop Fleet
Branding a cargo van or shop vehicle alongside your rental bike fleet? Custom Vehicle Vinyl Decals use the same UV-printed 4 mil PVC material and permanent adhesive. One order covers your van door and your bike frames with the same logo at consistent color output.
FAQs
Get your artwork right
Accepted file formats are PDF, PNG, JPG, and AI. For die-cut decals with fine lettering or detailed logos, AI vector files give the cleanest cut edge at any size.
- Resolution
- 150 DPI minimum. We recommend 300 DPI for any decal under 4 in because that's where riders lean in close enough to spot a soft edge.
- Color mode
- Set your file to CMYK before uploading. CMYK is the four-color printing process (cyan, magenta, yellow, black) that matches how our UV press lays down ink. RGB files convert on our end, but colors can shift slightly in the process.
- Bleed and safe zone
- Add 0.25 in of bleed beyond your cut line. Keep all critical text and logos at least 0.5 in inside the cut edge so nothing clips during die-cutting.
- Transparent background
- Place your artwork on a transparent background so we cut around the exact outline of your design. A white background tells us to cut a rectangle.
- Frame tube note
- Include your tube width in the order comments. We confirm the decal fits the flat area of your specific frame before printing anything.
No file ready? Use our free online design tool at checkout or request our professional design service to build a file from your logo or sketch. Submit your artwork on a transparent background for die-cut decals and our team sends you a free digital proof within 24 hours.

Care instructions
Product care
- Wait 72 hours after applying your decal before riding in rain or washing the bike. This gives the permanent adhesive time to fully bond to painted metal, raw aluminum, or carbon fiber. Clean the decal area with mild soap and water. Avoid abrasive cleaners, solvent-based degreasers, and wax applied directly over the vinyl surface.
- Before you apply, wipe the frame tube with isopropyl alcohol and let it dry completely. A clean, dry surface gives the adhesive its strongest bond on any frame finish. To remove later, apply low heat from a heat gun or hair dryer for 20 to 30 seconds, then peel slowly from one corner. Any adhesive residue lifts cleanly with rubbing alcohol on factory frame finishes.
