How to orderSpecifications
Custom Christmas Banners print on PVC Flex vinyl or polyester fabric, depending on where you plan to hang yours. Vinyl handles outdoor storefronts and yard displays. Fabric suits indoor stages, lobbies, and party backdrops. Both deliver full-color results with bold, crisp output from edge to edge.
- Material
- PVC Flex vinyl (smooth, glossy outdoor surface) in 11 oz or 16 oz. Fabric option uses polyester with a soft drape and no surface glare.Heavier vinyl holds up longer outdoors. Fabric keeps colors vivid indoors without reflecting stage or overhead lighting.
- Print Method
- Eco-solvent or UV inkjet for vinyl. Dye sublimation for fabric (ink absorbs into fibers so it won't crack or peel). Each method matches the material so color stays locked in through the full holiday season.
- Color Output
- CMYK full color on every order.Matches most brand colors within the standard gamut, so your reds stay bold and your whites stay crisp.
- Finishing
- Brass grommets every 2 ft along the border. Pole pockets also available. Hem and heat weld rounds out the finishing options.Choose the finish that matches your mount: hooks and zip ties need grommets, rods need pole pockets.
- Size Range
- Fully custom sizing available. Banners wider or taller than 10 ft include a heat-welded seam at no extra step on your end.
- Indoor/Outdoor Rating
- Vinyl is rated 6 to 12 months outdoors with UV-resistant inks. Fabric handles indoor use and light outdoor exposure but is not rated for prolonged rain or wind.
- Single/Double-Sided
- Single-sided is standard. Double-sided uses a blockout liner (a white layer between front and back prints that stops one side from showing through the other).
- Weight
- 11 oz vinyl for indoor and light-duty outdoor use. 16 oz vinyl for heavy-duty outdoor display. Fabric weight is not rated by ounce but drapes naturally and is machine washable.

Christmas Templates and Custom Uploads on One Page
Pre-designed Christmas templates covering Santa, snowflakes, nativity, and Merry Christmas themes sit alongside a free upload tool at A2Z Printing Hub. Buyers with finished artwork and buyers starting from scratch both get what they need without switching pages. That said, you can mix both: open a template, swap in your own logo, and adjust the text in the same tool. Sharp, festive results either way.
Two Materials Covering Every Christmas Setting
PVC Flex vinyl (a smooth, glossy outdoor material) runs 11 oz for indoor lobbies and light outdoor use. Go with 16 oz for storefronts and yard displays facing wind and rain through the full December season. Fabric suits church stages and corporate party backdrops where a soft, glare-free surface fits the holiday decor better than glossy vinyl. Pick your setting first. The material follows naturally from there.
Both materials print in full CMYK color (the 4-color process using cyan, magenta, yellow, and black). Bold reds and crisp whites come through on either surface. Dye sublimation (ink absorbs into fabric fibers so it won't crack or peel) handles fabric orders. Eco-solvent or UV inkjet handles vinyl.
Brass Grommets, Pole Pockets, and Welded Seams Built In
Brass grommets (metal rings punched into banner edges for hanging with hooks or zip ties) space every 2 ft along the border. The banner hangs taut without sagging between mount points. Pole pockets slide onto a rod for a clean, frameless look above a stage or entrance. Any banner wider or taller than 10 ft gets a heat-welded seam (folded edges sealed with heat for a sturdy, reinforced border). The panel holds its shape at full size.

Ideal for
Not the best fit for
Year-round business signage that stays mounted outdoors beyond 12 months needs a more durable permanent solution. Custom Vinyl Banners built for long-term advertising are the better choice there.
Personal milestone celebrations like birthdays or graduations need occasion-specific templates. Event Banners are the right fit for those.
Fence or scaffolding installs in high-wind locations can pull hardware loose with a solid vinyl panel. Custom Mesh Banners let wind pass through and are the safer option for those setups.
How to choose
Use these buying points to choose the right Custom Christmas Banners configuration.
Pair it with
Add a Second Layer of Festive Visibility at the Curb
Your Christmas banner covers the facade or fence. But the curb and entrance need coverage too. Custom Flags planted at the driveway or storefront entry add bold seasonal color from roughly 40 ft away, catching foot traffic before they even reach the banner. Window Decals fill the glass panels around the banner for a complete storefront holiday look.
Cover the Sidewalk and the Entrance at the Same Time
An A-Frame Sign on the sidewalk directs buyers toward a holiday sale while the banner works the wall above. Both pieces target the same shopper from two different sightlines. Canopy Tents shelter an outdoor holiday market or catering table underneath the banner display.
Extend the Holiday Calendar Before and After Christmas
Custom Thanksgiving Banners cover November before the Christmas season starts. Custom New Year Banners carry the display into January after Christmas comes down. Ordering all three together saves a separate production run each time.
FAQs
How Early Do I Need to Order to Get My Banner Before Christmas Week?
Order at least 2 to 3 weeks before Christmas. Shipping carriers run slower in November and December, so that window covers standard production plus transit. Orders approved before 12 PM EST go into production the same day. Rush production is available for late orders, but the safest move is ordering by early December.
Will the Colors on My Christmas Banner Look Bold or Washed Out on Vinyl?
Colors print in full CMYK with UV-resistant inks, so reds and greens come out bold on vinyl rather than flat or muddy. (CMYK is the 4-color process using cyan, magenta, yellow, and black.) You get a free digital proof before we print anything, so you see the color layout on screen first. Approve it, and what you approved is what ships.
What Happens if My Banner Arrives Damaged or Does Not Match the Approved Proof?
We reprint it at no cost. That is not a conditional offer. If the printed result does not match your approved proof, or if the banner arrives damaged in transit, contact us and we send a replacement. The free proof step exists precisely so both sides agree on the layout before production starts.
Can Vinyl Hold Up Outdoors in Cold December Weather Without Cracking?
PVC Flex vinyl stays flexible in cold temperatures and does not crack or curl with normal winter exposure. The 16 oz weight is the right call for outdoor display through the full December season. UV-resistant inks hold color outdoors for 6 to 12 months, so even a banner mounted in late November still looks sharp through the holidays.
Do I Need Print-Ready Artwork, or Can You Help Build the Design?
You do not need finished artwork to order. Our free design tool includes Christmas templates covering Santa, snowflakes, nativity scenes, and Merry Christmas themes. Upload your own file if you have one. Our design team can also build artwork from scratch if you need help. Accepted file formats are PDF, PNG, JPG, and AI.
Get your artwork right
File format matters before anything else. We accept PDF, PNG, JPG, and AI files. AI (vector format, meaning artwork built from mathematical paths rather than pixels) is the best choice for logos because it scales to any banner size without losing sharpness.
- Resolution
- Resolution is the next check. Minimum 150 DPI (dots per inch, the measure of print sharpness). For banners under 4 ft, push to 300 DPI. Viewers get close enough at that size to spot a soft edge, and most people don't catch it until they see the proof.
- Bleed and safe zone
- Set your bleed (extra artwork extending 0.25 in beyond the trim line on all four sides) so no white edges appear after cutting. Keep all text and logos inside the safe zone, which sits 0.5 in inside the trim line.
- Color mode
- Color mode must be CMYK, not RGB. RGB is built for screens. CMYK (cyan, magenta, yellow, black) is how we print, so colors match what you see on your proof.

Care instructions
Vinyl Christmas Banners
- Wipe the surface with a damp cloth and mild soap. Do not machine wash vinyl. Harsh cleaning strips the UV-resistant ink and shortens the banner's outdoor life.
- Roll the banner for storage. Do not fold it. Creases set into the print and show when the banner goes back up. Store it rolled in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight, and it will last 3 or more years between seasons.
Fabric Christmas Banners
- Machine wash cold with mild detergent and tumble dry on low. Steam or iron on low heat to remove any wrinkles before hanging.
- Fold fabric flat for off-season storage. Keep it dry and out of heat. Honestly, the easiest way to get two or more years from any holiday banner (vinyl or fabric) is to leave the year out of the design entirely.
