Specifications

Custom Real Estate Yard Signs run on 4mm corrugated plastic, also called Coroplast: a lightweight, fluted plastic sheet similar to cardboard but fully waterproof. It holds its shape through rain, sprinklers, and moderate wind. These signs are built for outdoor listing displays lasting 3 to 6 months per cycle.

Material
4mm corrugated plastic (Coroplast). Waterproof, rigid, and lightweight. Holds shape through rain, sprinklers, and moderate wind for a full listing cycle.
Print Method
Direct UV print. Ink bonds to the surface and cures instantly, giving you a scratch-resistant, waterproof finish that doesn't peel outdoors.
Color Output
CMYK full-color UV print. Four ink channels (cyan, magenta, yellow, black) reproduce brokerage logos and agent headshots with accurate color across every sign in a bulk run.
Finishing
Grommets or H-stakes available. H-stakes slide into the corrugated flutes and push into soft ground without tools.
Size Range
Custom sizes available. Most common are 18x24 in and 24x36 in. Signs over 48 in wide carry horizontal flutes running left to right.
Indoor/Outdoor Rating
Rated for 3 to 6 months of continuous outdoor exposure. With deploy-and-retrieve cycling, the same sign typically lasts 1 to 2 years of total use.
Single/Double-Sided
Both options available on all orders. Double-sided is the standard choice for listing signs on two-way streets.
Flute Direction
Vertical flutes run top to bottom on signs up to 48 in wide. Signs over 48 in wide have horizontal flutes, which affects how H-stakes insert.

4mm Corrugated Plastic With Direct UV Print

Corrugated plastic (a lightweight, fluted plastic sheet that's waterproof and fully rigid) runs 4mm thick on every sign we print. Direct UV print bonds ink straight to the surface and cures it instantly, producing a scratch-resistant, waterproof finish that doesn't peel or bubble outdoors. That combination holds color through 3 to 6 months of continuous sun and rain, covering most listing cycles without a replacement order. Crisp text. Bold logos. Readable from a moving car at 25 to 35 mph.

Double-Sided Printing and H-Stake Mounting

Double-sided printing puts your agent name, brokerage logo, and phone number on both faces so drivers approaching from either direction read the full message. Wire H-stakes (wire stakes shaped like the letter H) slide into the corrugated flutes and push into any lawn without tools. A listing sign goes up in under a minute and reads clearly from both lanes of a two-way street.

Bulk Ordering From 10 to 100 or More Signs

A2Z Printing Hub runs bulk orders from 10 signs up to 100 or more per run. Volume pricing drops the per-sign cost as quantity rises. Brokerages can stock a full season of listing signs in a single order rather than placing individual reorders each time a new property hits the market. And because the signs ship flat with H-stakes bundled, the whole order stores easily in a trunk or storage closet between deployments.

Ideal for

Active listing signs displaying For Sale, For Lease, or Under Contract at residential and commercial properties for the full listing cycle.
Sold signs deployed right after closing to build neighborhood visibility for the agent's brand at no recurring cost.
Brokerage bulk orders stocked per agent so every new listing goes up the same day without waiting on a reorder.
Agent branding signs carrying a name, headshot, and phone number so every passerby gets a direct contact.
Rider-ready main signs where a smaller supplemental sign attaches above or below to add open house dates or price reductions.
Multi-listing agents running 10 or more active listings who need a consistent sign format across every property.
New agent launches where a first bulk order of 24x36 in signs builds street-level presence across a target neighborhood fast.
Reuse across multiple listings: pull the sign after closing, wipe it clean, and push it into the next lawn.

Not the best fit for

Permanent outdoor signage that needs to stay up for years. Corrugated plastic degrades in 3 to 6 months of continuous outdoor exposure. Metal Signs on .040 aluminum are rated for 5 or more years outdoors and handle long-term installs.

Wall-mounted or building-mounted office signage needs a rigid surface mount, not an H-stake. Metal Signs, Acrylic Signs, or Business Signs cover those applications.

Open house directional signs deployed and retrieved the same morning are a separate, purpose-built product. Custom Open House Yard Signs handle that specific use case.

How to choose

Use these buying points to choose the right Custom Real Estate Yard Signs configuration.

  1. Matching Sign Size to Your Listing Location

Sign size comes down to how fast traffic moves past the property. An 18x24 in sign reads clearly from a car moving at 25 to 35 mph on a residential street, and it fits standard H-stakes without modification. Go with 24x36 in for corner lots, commercial properties, or roads where drivers need to read your number from roughly 40 ft away. Start with 18x24 in if you're unsure. It stores flat in a car trunk.

  2. Single-Sided Versus Double-Sided for Your Street Type

Double-sided printing is the right call for any sign on a two-way street or corner lot. Drivers approaching from either direction read the full message: agent name, brokerage logo, and phone number. Single-sided works only when the sign faces one direction, such as against a fence or wall. Order double-sided by default and you won't reorder when a listing moves to a busier corner.

  3. Bulk Quantity Planning for Agents Versus Brokerages

  4. Individual Agents

Individual agents covering their own active inventory typically start with 10 to 25 signs. That range covers most active listing loads and hits the first volume pricing tier.

  5. Brokerages

Brokerages stocking signs for multiple agents usually order 50 to 100 or more per run to reach the lowest per-sign cost. Decide your quantity before uploading artwork so the configurator applies the correct volume pricing automatically.

  6. Reuse Strategy Versus Fresh-Order Strategy Per Listing

Reuse works well when the sign carries only the agent name, brokerage logo, and a status message like For Sale or For Lease with no property-specific details. If your sign includes a street address or listing price, plan a fresh order per listing. Most agents run a reusable master sign plus a rider for property-specific details. That combination cuts total sign spend across a full year without sacrificing readability.

Pair it with

Finish the Listing Day Setup

Your yard sign covers the property, but open house morning needs directionals at every nearby turn. Deploy Custom Open House Yard Signs as a set of 3 to 5 directionals and retrieve them the same evening. A-Frame Signs work at the property entrance when the yard is too narrow for an H-stake.

When the Listing Becomes Permanent

Corrugated plastic holds up 3 to 6 months outdoors. For a sign that needs to stay up for 5 or more years, Metal Signs on .040 aluminum mount to walls, fences, or posts without degrading. Business Signs cover office and commercial property displays that need wall-mounted formats.

Extend the Agent Brand Beyond the Yard

Every drive through a neighborhood is a missed ad without vehicle branding. Custom Vehicle Decals put your name and phone number on your car door so every showing doubles as moving exposure. Custom Flags at 10 to 14 ft pull eyes to the property from the end of the block.

Scale Up for Events and Campaigns

Custom Banners cover the property facade above the yard sign when a larger-format display is needed at an open house event. Agents who want a fully custom layout outside the standard real estate template can order Custom Corrugated Plastic Yard Signs with no template restrictions.

FAQs

Will the Colors on My Listing Sign Stay Sharp Through a Full Sales Cycle?

Direct UV print bonds ink directly to the 4mm corrugated plastic surface and cures it instantly, producing a scratch-resistant, waterproof finish. Color holds outdoors for 3 to 6 months of continuous exposure, which covers most listing cycles without a replacement order. Bold reds, blacks, and whites (the most common real estate palette) stay readable from a moving car through that full window.

Do H-Stakes Come With the Order or Do I Buy Them Separately?

Wire H-stakes ship bundled with every order at no extra charge. They slide into the corrugated flutes (the hollow channels running through the plastic) and push into soft ground without tools. For hard or compacted soil, press a screwdriver or spike into the ground first to create a pilot channel, then push the stake in.

How Do I Attach a Rider Sign Above or Below the Main Listing Sign?

A rider (a smaller supplemental sign) slides onto the H-stake above or below the main panel using the same flute channels. Most riders run 6x24 in or 6x18 in and carry open house dates, price reductions, or a direct contact number. Order your rider at the same time as the main sign so colors match across both panels.

What Happens to the Sign if the Listing Runs Longer Than 3 to 6 Months?

The short answer: colors begin to fade noticeably under direct sun after roughly 6 months of continuous outdoor exposure. Edges may show fraying and the internal fluting can become visible through the face. For listings running longer than that, pull the sign at the 6-month mark and replace it. And if the property sits in a shaded yard with limited direct sun, you'll often get closer to the full 6-month end of that range before any visible fade.

What Is the Most Common Size for Custom Real Estate Yard Signs?

The 18x24 in format is the standard across residential listings nationwide. It fits all wire H-stakes, reads clearly from 25 to 35 mph traffic, and stores flat in a standard car trunk. The 24x36 in size steps up for commercial properties and high-traffic roads where the sign needs to carry from a greater distance.

Get your artwork right

Real estate yard signs get read from a moving car at roughly 25 to 35 mph. Your artwork needs to be sharp enough to read in under 3 seconds from 30 ft away.

We accept PDF PNG JPG AI
File Formats
PDF, PNG, JPG, or AI. AI or PDF vector files are best for brokerage logos because they scale to any sign size without softening.
Resolution
150 DPI minimum. For signs under 4 ft wide, we recommend 300 DPI. At that resolution, viewers standing 5 to 10 ft away won't spot a soft edge on a phone number or logo.
Bleed and Safe Zone
Add 0.25 in of bleed on all four sides. Keep your agent name, phone number, and logo at least 0.5 in from every edge so nothing trims close.
Color Mode
Submit files in CMYK, not RGB. CMYK matches how we print, so your brokerage colors come out on the sign the way they look on your screen. RGB files shift during conversion and can throw off logo colors across a bulk run.

Care instructions

Product care

  • Push the H-stake into soft ground first, then slide the sign into the stake channels. Check that the sign sits level and faces the primary traffic direction. Wipe the sign face with a damp cloth to remove dirt, mud, or sprinkler residue. No cleaning products are needed because corrugated plastic does not absorb water.
  • Pull the H-stake and sign together when the listing closes. Store both flat and dry. Do not lean signs at an angle during storage or they'll warp over time.
  • Replace the sign when edges show fraying, colors fade noticeably under direct sun, or the internal fluting becomes visible through the face. H-stakes rust if left in wet ground between listings, so store them dry and replace as needed.
