How to orderSpecifications
Custom Corrugated Plastic Yard Signs run on 4mm Coroplast, a rigid waterproof fluted plastic sheet that's the lightest outdoor sign material we carry. Direct UV printing bonds ink straight to the surface for a tough, weather-resistant face. These signs are built for temporary outdoor use: ground-staked, fully custom, and ready in 1 to 2 business days.
- Material
- 4mm corrugated plastic (Coroplast). A rigid, lightweight, waterproof fluted sheet stiff enough to stand upright in an H-stake without bowing.
- Print Method
- Direct UV print. Ink bonds to the sign surface and cures instantly, giving you a scratch-resistant, waterproof face that won't peel or bubble.
- Color Output
- CMYK full-color. Cyan, magenta, yellow, and black combine to reproduce any logo, photo, or gradient across the full sign face.
- Finishing
- Grommets or H-stakes available. Grommets are metal-rimmed holes for rope or zip-tie hanging. H-stakes slide into the flutes to hold the sign upright in soil.
- Size Range
- Custom sizes up to 4 ft x 8 ft. Standard sizes include 12x18 in, 18x24 in, and 24x36 in.
- Indoor/Outdoor Rating
- 3 to 6 months continuous outdoor exposure with H-stake ground placement. Deploy-and-retrieve cycling extends usable life to roughly 1 to 2 years across multiple uses.
- Single/Double-Sided
- Both available on every order. Double-sided is the right choice for signs visible from both traffic directions.
- Flute Direction
- Signs wider than 48 in have horizontal flutes. Signs 48 in wide or narrower have vertical flutes. Order H-stakes matched to your sign width so the stake inserts correctly.

4mm Coroplast With Direct UV Print That Holds Color Outdoors
Corrugated plastic runs 4mm thick on every sign we print. It's a rigid, fluted plastic sheet that works like waterproof cardboard. That thickness keeps the sign stiff enough to stand upright in an H-stake without bowing toward the ground. Direct UV ink bonds to the surface and gives you a scratch-resistant, fade-resistant face. Sharp color holds for 3 to 6 months of continuous outdoor exposure. A2Z Printing Hub runs this print method across every corrugated plastic order, no exceptions.
Single or Double Sided on Any Custom Size Up to 4 ft x 8 ft
Every sign prints single or double sided. Custom sizing runs up to 4 ft x 8 ft, so you're not locked into a template footprint. Real estate agents ordering 18x24 in listing signs and campaign managers ordering 24x36 in lawn signs both get the exact dimension their location needs. No wasted material, no paying for a size that doesn't fit your yard or roadside slot.
H-Stakes or Grommets: Two Mounting Options on One Order
Wire H-stakes slide into the corrugated flutes and hold the sign upright in soil. They ship with your order on request. (The stake is shaped like the letter H, which is exactly how it inserts.) Grommets, metal-rimmed holes punched into the sign edge, are available for fence or post hanging. Both options available on one order. Pick the mounting that matches your site, not the one we happen to stock.

Ideal for
Not the best fit for
Corrugated plastic degrades in 3 to 6 months of continuous outdoor exposure. For signage that stays up year-round without replacement, Metal Signs on .040 aluminum (rated 5 or more years outdoors) are the right call.
Wall-mounted or building-mounted signage needs a different substrate entirely. Metal Signs, Acrylic Signs, or Business Signs handle wall and building mounting without ground stakes.
How to choose
Use these buying points to choose the right Custom Corrugated Plastic Yard Signs configuration.
-
Temporary Outdoor Placement vs. Permanent Outdoor Placement
Corrugated plastic holds up for 3 to 6 months of continuous outdoor exposure. That covers a full real estate listing, a campaign season, or a graduation display without any problem. But if your sign stays up year-round without coming down, corrugated plastic will fade and become brittle before the year ends. For anything permanent, go with Metal Signs on .040 aluminum (rated 5 or more years outdoors) and skip corrugated plastic entirely.
-
Single-Sided vs. Double-Sided Printing
Order double-sided when your sign sits in a yard or median where traffic passes from both directions. A single-sided sign against a fence, wall, or window works fine because only one face is visible. Double-sided costs more per unit, but it cuts your total sign count roughly in half for roadside deployments. That math favors double-sided on almost every real estate and campaign order.
-
H-Stakes vs. Grommets for Mounting
H-stakes (wire stakes shaped like the letter H that slide into the corrugated flutes) work for any soft ground: lawns, garden beds, and loose soil. For fence lines, zip-tie loops, or post hanging, order grommets instead. And if your site has hard or frozen ground, a screwdriver to pre-drill a pilot hole lets the H-stake push in cleanly without bending.

The Right Size for Your Viewing Distance and Location
-
Signs Read From a Moving Car
18x24 in is the minimum readable size for roadside signs at 15 to 35 mph. Go to 24x36 in if your primary text runs more than 5 words or if the sign sits more than 20 ft from the road edge.
-
Signs Read Up Close
Yard displays for graduations, birthdays, or welcome home setups sit in the front yard where viewers walk past within 10 ft. A 12x18 in sign reads clearly at that distance and keeps costs low for single-unit personal orders.
Honestly, most buyers already know their use case before they land here. Upload your design and check the proof at actual scale before approving so letter height and color contrast read the way you expect.
Pair it with
Cover Both Viewing Angles at the Same Property
Your yard sign faces the road, but the sidewalk entrance is a different angle entirely. An A-Frame Sign sits at the walkway while your corrugated plastic sign handles the roadside view. Custom Flags add moving color above the sign line at open houses and grand openings where foot traffic slows down to look.
Upgrade to Permanent When the Listing or Campaign Ends
Corrugated plastic handles the short run. For anything staying up year-round, Metal Signs on .040 aluminum last 5 or more years outdoors and mount to walls, fences, or posts without warping or fading.
Cover the Fence Line and Building Facade at the Same Event
Yard signs handle the ground level. Custom Banners cover the fence or building facade above them, so the same event gets messaging at two heights. Custom Decals brand vehicle windows and doors for agents and contractors who deploy yard signs across multiple sites in a single week.

FAQs
Will Rain and Sprinklers Wash the Print Off My Yard Sign?
No. Direct UV ink (ink cured instantly by UV light directly on the sign surface) bonds to the corrugated plastic face and does not wash off in rain or sprinkler contact. The face is waterproof and scratch-resistant. You can wipe the sign down with a damp cloth between deployments without affecting the colors.
How Long Do Custom Corrugated Plastic Yard Signs Actually Last Before Colors Fade?
The short answer: 3 to 6 months of continuous outdoor exposure before visible fading begins. Deploy-and-retrieve cycling, pulling the sign after a listing closes or an event ends, extends usable life to roughly 1 to 2 years across multiple cycles. Store flat and dry indoors between uses. Do not leave signs leaning at an angle during storage, because the 4mm fluting will warp under uneven pressure.
Can I Order Just 1 Sign, or Is There a Minimum Quantity?
No minimum. Single signs are available for birthdays, welcome home displays, and yard sales. Bulk pricing starts automatically at 10 units and scales at 25, 50, and 100 units. Campaign managers and real estate agents ordering 50 to 500 signs see the per-unit price drop significantly in the configurator as they adjust quantity.
Do H-Stakes Come With My Order, or Do I Buy Them Separately?
H-stakes ship with your order on request. Select them at checkout alongside your sign quantity. Worth knowing: H-stakes add weight to the shipment, so bulk orders of 50 or more ship stacked flat in boxes with stakes bundled separately inside the same box.
What Happens If My Sign Arrives Damaged or Printed Wrong?
Contact us within 5 business days of delivery. Signs damaged in shipping or printed differently from your approved proof get reprinted at no charge. We do not start production until you approve a free digital proof, so color placement and layout match exactly what you signed off on.
Get your artwork right
Accepted file formats are PDF, PNG, JPG, and AI. Vector files (AI or PDF) are the best choice for logos because they stay sharp at any print size without pixelating.
- Resolution
- Resolution runs a minimum of 150 DPI, but 300 DPI is the right call for any sign under 4 ft wide where viewers get within 10 ft of the face. Set your color mode to CMYK, not RGB. CMYK matches how we print, so the colors you see on screen come out as expected on the finished sign. Add 0.25 in of bleed on all sides and keep text and logos at least 0.5 in from each edge.
- Artwork setup
- Worth knowing: yard signs get read from moving cars at roughly 15 to 35 mph. Keep your primary text to 7 words or fewer and use a minimum 3 in letter height so the message reads clearly from 30 ft away.
- Artwork setup
- A free online design tool with use-case templates is available at checkout, along with a professional design service if you'd rather hand the layout off entirely.
Upload your sign artwork and our team sends you a free digital proof showing the exact print layout, mounting hardware position, and corner style within 24 hours.

Care instructions
Product care
- Push the H-stake into soft ground first, then slide the sign into the stake channels. Make sure the face points toward oncoming traffic and sits level. No maintenance is needed during deployment. Corrugated plastic handles rain, sprinklers, and moderate wind without warping or peeling.
- When the listing closes or the event ends, pull the H-stake from the ground and wipe the sign face with a damp cloth if it's dirty. Store signs flat and dry indoors. Stacking flat prevents warping. Do not lean signs at an angle during storage.
- Pull H-stakes between uses and store them dry. Wire stakes rust if left in wet ground permanently, but replacement stakes are available when yours wear out before the signs do.
