- Wipe the sign face with a damp cloth and mild soap once or twice a year to clear road dust and surface grime. No wax, polish, or abrasive scrubbers are needed. Do not aim a pressure washer directly at the printed face, and avoid ammonia-based cleaners or steel wool, any of which can dull the UV-cured ink over time.
- Aluminum does not rust, so no protective coating or seasonal treatment is required. Check mounting hardware once a year, especially in high-wind locations where fasteners can loosen. Use stainless steel screws and bolts at coastal sites to prevent the hardware itself from corroding, even though the aluminum panel will not.
