How to orderSpecifications

- Material
- 1/4 in clear plexiglass (acrylic sheet).Thick enough to feel sturdy in hand and cast a visible shadow when standoff-mounted.

- Color Output
- Full color.CMYK reproduces logos, gradients, and photography with sharp detail at these panel sizes.
- Finishing
- Pre-drilled corner holes for standoff mounts. Edges are smooth and polished.Standoff mounts (small metal spacers) create a floating effect roughly 0.5 to 1 in off the wall.
- Size Range
- 16x24, 20x30, and 24x36 in.These three sizes cover most lobby, reception, and suite identification applications.

- Indoor use. Holds up 5 to 10 years indoors without yellowing.Prolonged outdoor UV exposure causes yellowing over roughly 2 to 3 years.
- Single/Double-Sided
- Single-sided.CMYK print and white backing run on one face. The reverse side stays clear.
- Weight
- Not specified in current product data.Plan for wall anchors rated for the panel weight, especially at 24x36 in.

1/4 in Clear Plexiglass With CMYK Direct Print and Full White Backing
Clear plexiglass (a solid acrylic sheet) runs 1/4 in thick on every panel we cut. That thickness gives the sign a sturdy, substantial feel in hand and casts a visible shadow against the wall when standoff-mounted. CMYK direct print (a 4-color process using cyan, magenta, yellow, and black) goes straight onto the acrylic surface and cures under UV light for a scratch-resistant finish. A full white backing layer sits behind the ink, so colors read bold and crisp against the transparent panel rather than washing out. At A2Z Printing Hub, this is the only sign material in the catalog that combines a transparent substrate with a dimensional float mount. Sharp logos. Clean edges.
Pre-Drilled Standoff Mounting Included With Every Panel
Standoff mounts are small metal spacers that hold the sign roughly 0.5 to 1 in off the wall, creating a floating, dimensional look. Every panel ships pre-drilled at the corner positions so you get that effect without custom fabrication or a second hardware order. And the standoff hardware ships with the sign, not separately. No extra cost, no missing parts on installation day.
Three Standard Sizes Built for Lobby and Reception Walls
Three sizes cover the full range of indoor business signage needs: 16x24, 20x30, and 24x36 in. A 16x24 suits a single name beside a door. A 20x30 handles most standard reception walls. The 24x36 anchors a wide wall behind a reception desk where the sign needs to carry the full visual weight of the space. Each panel arrives ready to hang the day it gets there.
Customer reviews
Ideal for
Not the best fit for
Outdoor signage exposed to direct weather. Acrylic yellows under prolonged UV exposure and can crack in extreme cold. Metal Signs on .040 aluminum are outdoor-rated for 5 or more years and handle exterior walls without issue.
Budget-conscious or temporary signage needs. Acrylic is the most expensive sign material in the catalog. Rigid Signs on PVC foam board give you a flat indoor sign at a fraction of the cost.
Large-format needs over roughly 24x36 in. Acrylic panels become heavy and costly at that scale. Custom Banners handle large-format lobby displays at lower weight and cost.
How to choose
Use these buying points to choose the right Custom Acrylic Business Signs configuration.
-
Acrylic Versus Metal for Permanent Indoor Business Signage
Material choice starts with location. Acrylic wins indoors where the transparent surface and dimensional standoff mounting (metal spacers that hold the sign 0.5 to 1 in off the wall) match a polished interior finish. Metal Signs on .040 aluminum are the better call for any outdoor or exterior wall.
Pick acrylic for the lobby. Pick metal for the building exterior.
-
Acrylic Versus Rigid Board for Lobby and Reception Displays
Here's the thing: acrylic costs more because it's meant to stay. Rigid boards on PVC foam are lighter, cheaper, and easy to swap seasonally. But if the sign stays on that wall indefinitely and clients see it every day, acrylic is the right material. Rigid board saves money when the sign rotates or moves.

Choosing the Right Size for Your Wall Space
-
Match Panel Size to the Wall Behind It
Measure your wall before ordering. A 16x24 in panel suits a single name or logo beside a door or on a smaller reception wall. A 20x30 in panel works for most standard lobby walls with a name plus tagline. And a 24x36 in panel fits a wide wall behind a reception desk where the sign needs to anchor the full visual field.
-
Account for Standoff Hole Positions
Corner drill points sit roughly 1 in from each edge. Keep your logo and critical text clear of those corners so the standoff hardware does not overlap printed content. The free design tool includes templates with drill positions already marked.
-
Understanding Standoff Mounting Before You Order
Standoff mounts ship with every panel. The acrylic arrives pre-drilled at the corner positions. You mark the wall, drill anchors, and thread the standoffs through the holes.
Worth knowing: at 24x36 in, the panel is noticeably heavy relative to foam board at the same size. Use wall anchors rated for the full panel weight and bring a second person for leveling.
Pair it with
Finish the Lobby Surface Around Your Sign
Your acrylic panel anchors the wall, but the space around it can carry more branding. Wall Decals add vinyl graphics directly to the wall surface beside or below the panel. Door Decals put matching lettering on glass entry doors so the branding reads consistent from the street to the reception desk. Window Decals carry the same polished aesthetic to storefront glass.
Take the Same Brand Outside
Acrylic handles the interior lobby. For the building exterior, suite markers, or any outdoor wall, Metal Signs on .040 aluminum are outdoor-rated for 5 or more years and mount the same way with pre-drilled holes.
Cover Secondary Signage in the Same Building
The lobby gets the acrylic panel. Conference room nameplates, directional signs, and breakroom labels don't need the same investment. Rigid Signs on PVC foam board cover those spots at a fraction of the acrylic cost.
Large-Format Needs in the Same Space
A 24x36 acrylic panel anchors a reception wall. But a wide lobby backdrop or event display needs scale that rigid panels can't match at this weight or cost. Custom Banners handle large-format lobby walls and event backdrops without the bulk.
FAQs
Get your artwork right
Upload files as PDF, AI, PNG, or JPG. Vector formats (PDF or AI) work best for logos because they scale to any panel size without softening edges. Raster files (PNG or JPG) need a minimum 150 DPI, and 300 DPI is the right call for any panel under 24x36 in where visitors read at close range.
- Color mode
- Set your color mode to CMYK before uploading. RGB files convert on our end, but color shift is possible. CMYK files give you the most accurate result on the printed panel.
- Bleed
- Build in 0.25 in of bleed on all four sides. Keep text and logos at least 0.5 in from each edge, and keep critical content at least 1 in from corner positions where standoff holes are drilled. Artwork that overlaps a drill point gets obscured by the mount hardware.
And if you're starting from scratch, our free online design tool includes standoff-aware templates sized to 16x24, 20x30, and 24x36. A professional design service is also available if you need layout help before uploading. Upload your sign artwork and our team sends you a free digital proof showing the exact print layout, mounting holes, and corner style within 24 hours.

Care instructions
Product care
- Clean your acrylic panel with a soft microfiber cloth and mild soap and water, or use a dedicated acrylic cleaner such as Novus No. 1. Do not use ammonia-based glass cleaners like Windex. Ammonia causes acrylic to craze, meaning tiny surface cracks develop over time and cannot be reversed. Paper towels and abrasive pads scratch the surface, which scatters light and makes the print look dull.
- Check standoff caps every few months. Vibration from nearby doors can loosen them gradually. Tighten by hand and check wall anchors once a year to confirm the panel sits flush and level.
- Minor surface scratches buff out with acrylic polish such as Novus No. 2. Deep scratches cannot be repaired and the panel would need replacement.
