- Remove the sign from your truck door at least once a week. Wipe the magnetic backing and the door surface with a damp cloth to clear any dirt or grit trapped between them. Trapped grit scratches paint. The magnet itself does not.
- Clean the printed face monthly with mild soap and water. Always remove the sign before an automatic car wash. Brush rollers catch the edges and can tear the sign off at speed.
- Store the sign flat on a steel surface (a file cabinet works) or between two flat boards when it's not on the truck. Never roll or fold it. Inspect the edges monthly for any curl, and flatten curled corners by placing the sign under a heavy flat object overnight.
