How to orderSpecifications
Custom Jeep Door Decals run on 4 mil white PVC calendar film with permanent adhesive and a matte finish. UV printing at 720 DPI minimum locks color into a scratch-resistant, waterproof surface rated for 3 to 5 years outdoors. These decals fit flat and slightly curved Jeep door panels up to 58.5 in wide, die-cut to your exact shape.
- Material
- 4 mil white PVC calendar film. Matte finish. Conforms to flat and slightly curved Jeep door surfaces without lifting at the edges.
- Print Method
- UV printed. Ink cures instantly under ultraviolet light, giving you a waterproof, scratch-resistant output that survives car washes and off-road exposure.
- Color Output
- CMYK full color at 720 DPI minimum. CMYK (cyan, magenta, yellow, and black) gives accurate color across logos, photos, and custom graphics.
- Finishing
- Die-cut to custom shape. Kiss-cut on backing sheet so the decal peels cleanly in one piece without tearing.
- Size Range
- Custom sizes up to 58.5 in wide. Sizes over 58.5 in ship in multiple pieces for manual alignment on the door panel.
- Indoor/Outdoor Rating
- Outdoor rated 3 to 5 years. Water resistant, scratch resistant, and UV stable after a 72-hour adhesive cure.
- Single/Double-Sided
- Single-sided. Adhesive back, printed face, designed to bond to the door surface with the graphic facing outward.
- Adhesive Type
- Permanent adhesive. Bonds to painted metal, glass, and plastic. Removable with a heat gun and slow peeling on factory paint without paint damage.

4 Mil White PVC With Permanent Adhesive Built for Jeep Door Panels
4 mil white PVC calendar film (a thin but sturdy vinyl rated for outdoor use) bonds to Jeep door panels with permanent adhesive, holding firm through off-road vibration, rain, and road debris for 3 to 5 years. The matte finish resists glare on curved door surfaces. And because the adhesive cures to painted metal, glass, and plastic, your decal stays flat without lifting at the edges even after repeated trail runs.
UV Printing at 720 DPI Minimum for Sharp, Scratch-Resistant Color
UV printing (a process where ink cures instantly under ultraviolet light) runs at 720 DPI minimum on every order. That creates a scratch-resistant, waterproof surface holding color through car washes and direct sun. Your logo or graphic stays crisp and color-accurate without fading. That matters most on door panels, where viewers read your branding from roughly 10 to 15 ft away at a stoplight or parking lot.
Die-Cut to Any Shape With Kiss-Cut Backing for Clean Peeling
Die-cut finishing (cut to the exact outline of your design rather than a standard rectangle) pairs with kiss-cut backing (cut through the vinyl only, leaving the backing sheet intact), so you peel and apply cleanly without tearing. No scissors. No guessing where the edge starts. The backing sheet stays whole, which means the decal shape transfers to your door panel in one controlled peel.

Ideal for
Not the best fit for
Full door-to-door vehicle wraps covering the entire Jeep surface are not what we cut. We handle specific placement areas. For full coverage, a local wrap installer is the right call.
Permanent adhesive is not built for daily removal. If you need to swap branding each day, Magnetic Signs attach and pull off without adhesive every time.
One-way see-through graphics on Jeep door windows need perforated vinyl. Window Decals handle that placement.
How to choose
Use these buying points to choose the right Custom Jeep Door Decals configuration.
-
Sizing Your Decal to the Jeep Door Panel
Jeep Wrangler door panels typically run 18 to 24 in tall and 24 to 36 in wide depending on the model and door type. Gladiator rear doors run taller. Measure your specific panel before entering a custom size. A decal sized for a Wrangler front door won't fit a Gladiator rear door without adjustment. Our online design tool includes Jeep placement templates so you can check your layout against real panel dimensions before uploading.
-
Business Branding Versus Personal Customization
-
Business Branding
Center your logo, website, and phone number on the door in a layout readable from 10 to 15 ft away. Keep text large enough to read at a glance from the sidewalk or a parking lot row. Upload your file on a transparent background and we cut to your exact shape.
-
Personal Customization
Personal graphics can fill the full panel edge to edge. Trail badges, club logos, and custom art look best when the decal bleeds close to the panel border. Same 4 mil PVC, same UV print process, just a different layout goal.
-
Single Jeep Versus Fleet Order
For a single Jeep, order your exact size and shape. You get a free digital proof before production starts, so you see the cut line and color layout before we print anything. For fleet orders of 5 or more vehicles, contact us about volume pricing before you place the order. Quantity discounts apply from the start, not as a rebate after.
-
Permanent Door Decal Versus Removable Alternative
Permanent adhesive door decals bond through off-road mud, rain, and vibration and hold 3 to 5 years outdoors. But if you use your Jeep for both personal and business driving and need to swap branding daily, permanent adhesive is not the right call. Magnetic Signs attach to the same door panel without adhesive and pull off cleanly between uses.
Pair it with
Swap Between Personal and Business Use
Some Jeep owners need to switch branding between work days and weekends. Permanent adhesive door decals stay on for 3 to 5 years, so daily swaps aren't practical. Magnetic Signs attach to the same door panel without adhesive and remove in seconds.
Brand Every Panel of the Vehicle in One Order
Your Jeep door is the largest flat panel, but the bumper, hood, and rear window carry branding too. These products use the same 4 mil PVC material so every placement matches in finish and color output.
Add Branding to the Door Glass
The door panel takes the adhesive decal. The door window is a different surface entirely. Window Decals in perforated vinyl handle the glass area and let you see out from inside the cab while the graphic stays visible from outside.
Match Your Jeep to Your Storefront
A Jeep door decal puts your logo on the road. Custom Signs at your business location use the same color output so your vehicle and your storefront read as one consistent brand from the parking lot to the front counter.
FAQs
Will a Custom Jeep Door Decal Pull Paint Off When I Remove It?
Honestly, this is the question we hear most. Permanent adhesive bonds firmly to painted metal, but it does not mean it's stuck forever. Apply low heat from a heat gun and peel slowly from one corner. Any residue left on the door panel cleans off with rubbing alcohol or Goo Gone without damaging factory paint. Worth knowing: if your Jeep has a fresh repaint under 30 days old, wait before applying.
Can These Decals Handle Off-Road Mud, Water, and Brush Contact?
Weather resistance is where 4 mil white PVC calendar film earns its keep. UV printing cures the ink instantly under ultraviolet light, creating a scratch-resistant, waterproof surface that holds up through car washes, mud spray, and direct brush contact on the trail. The adhesive is rated for outdoor use and holds firm through off-road vibration. After a 72-hour cure on the door panel, the bond is fully set.
How Do I Apply a Die-Cut Door Decal Without Bubbles or Misalignment?
Clean the door panel with isopropyl alcohol first and let it dry fully. Peel the kiss-cut backing (the intact sheet that keeps the decal flat during shipping) and position the decal before committing the adhesive to the panel. Squeegee from the center outward in firm, overlapping strokes. Small bubbles near edges can be punctured with a pin and smoothed flat.
Do Jeep Door Decals Fade After a Season of Direct Sun?
UV-cured inks resist fading for 3 to 5 years under normal outdoor conditions, including direct sun across a full Florida or Arizona summer. The 720 DPI minimum print resolution keeps your logo crisp and color-accurate across that full lifespan. Colors do not shift or yellow the way solvent-printed decals can after 12 to 18 months of sun exposure.
What Happens If My Decal Arrives Damaged or the Color Does Not Match My Proof?
We reprint at no charge. Your approved digital proof is the binding reference for color output and cut shape. If the decal we ship does not match it, or if it arrives damaged in transit, contact us and we fix it. We do not ask you to file a carrier claim or wait on a refund process.
Get your artwork right
Resolution is the first thing to check. We need a minimum 150 DPI file. For any decal under 4 ft, 300 DPI is the right target because viewers standing at a door panel get close enough to spot a soft edge. Low-res files show it.
- Accepted formats
- PDF, PNG, JPG, AI. Vector files (AI or PDF with outlined fonts) are best for logos because they scale to any size without losing sharpness.
- Color mode
- Submit files in CMYK (cyan, magenta, yellow, black), not RGB. RGB is a screen color model. CMYK is how we print, so submitting in CMYK means the colors you see on screen come out accurately on the decal.
- Bleed and safe zone
- Add 0.25 in of bleed on all sides. Keep text and logos at least 0.5 in from the cut edge so nothing important sits in the trim zone.
- Die-cut shape
- Upload your artwork on a transparent background. We cut around your exact design outline, so a transparent background tells us exactly where to cut.
Use our free online design tool for Jeep placement templates, or request our professional design service if you're building a layout from scratch. Submit your artwork and our team sends you a free digital proof within 24 hours.

Care instructions
Product care
- Wait 72 hours after applying your door decal before washing the vehicle. The adhesive needs that window to fully bond to the painted panel. For the first 2 weeks, hand wash around the decal area and avoid high-pressure spray aimed directly at the edges. After 2 weeks, normal automatic car wash use is fine.
- Clean the decal surface with mild soap and water. Do not use abrasive cleaners, solvent-based products, or wax applied directly on top of the decal. To remove, apply low heat from a heat gun and peel slowly from one corner. Any adhesive residue left on the door panel cleans off with rubbing alcohol or Goo Gone without damaging factory paint.
