How to orderSpecifications
Custom Political Banners print full-color candidate messaging on PVC Flex vinyl in 11 oz or 16 oz weights. Both weights handle indoor and outdoor campaign placements. The heavier the vinyl, the longer it holds up against wind, sun, and sustained outdoor exposure.
- Material
- PVC Flex vinyl.A smooth, glossy outdoor surface that holds ink through heat, humidity, and direct sun without cracking or peeling.
- Print Method
- Eco-solvent or UV inkjet.Weather-resistant inks bond to the vinyl surface so colors stay crisp outdoors for 6 to 12 months.
- Color Output
- CMYK full color. The 4-color process using cyan, magenta, yellow, and black matches most party colors and candidate brand palettes within the standard gamut.
- Finishing
- Brass grommets every 2 ft. Pole pockets. Hem and heat weld. Each option suits a different mounting setup, from fence lines to rod-hung indoor displays.
- Size Range
- Custom sizes from small indoor formats up to large building-facade widths.Banners wider or taller than 10 ft include a welded seam to keep the full piece flat.
- Indoor/Outdoor Rating
- Outdoor-rated 6 to 12 months with UV-resistant inks in direct sun.Indoor use extends lifespan well beyond 12 months.
- Single/Double-Sided
- Single-sided standard. Double-sided available with a blockout liner. The blockout liner is a white layer between front and back prints that prevents show-through on banners viewed from both sides.
- Weight
- 11 oz for indoor rally halls and light-duty outdoor use. 16 oz for heavy-duty outdoor stages, building facades, and high-wind locations.Heavier weight means a sturdier hang and less movement in sustained wind.

Candidate Messaging Printed on 11 oz or 16 oz PVC Flex Vinyl
PVC Flex vinyl is a smooth, glossy outdoor material. It bonds ink through heat, humidity, and direct sun without cracking. Two weights cover two very different campaign jobs. The 11 oz weight suits indoor rally halls where the banner hangs close and cost per unit matters. Go with 16 oz for building facades and outdoor stages where wind load and weeks of exposure demand a heavier, tougher surface. Your candidate's name stays bold through the full campaign season on either weight. Sharp colors. Tough material. Built for the trail.
Bulk Campaign Orders with Free Digital Proof
Every order at A2Z Printing Hub gets a free digital proof within 24 hours. Your team reviews the full layout before a single banner runs. This matters most on bulk orders where a name spelling error or a wrong district number would mean reprinting the entire run. Approve the proof before 12 PM EST and production starts the same day. (Bulk orders of 10 or more banners typically add 1 to 2 days to that timeline, so build that buffer into your event calendar.)
Grommets, Pole Pockets, and Welded Seams for Large-Format Mounting
Brass grommets punched every 2 ft along the banner edges let you hang with hooks, zip ties, or rope at rally stages and fence lines. Pole pockets are fabric sleeves along the top or bottom edge for rod mounting at indoor events. Heat-welded hems seal every edge for a clean, reinforced finish. And any banner wider or taller than 10 ft ships with a welded seam so the full piece hangs flat without sagging at the center. Secure mounting. No loose edges.

Ideal for
Not the best fit for
Personal yard celebrations not tied to a campaign, such as birthday or graduation displays, don't need campaign-specific sizing or messaging. Event Banners are the better fit there.
Permanent outdoor signage meant to last beyond 12 months needs a harder substrate. Custom Metal Signs hold up longer for that use case.
Small tabletop or desk displays at campaign offices need a different format entirely. Banner Stands are the right size and setup for that job.
How to choose
Use these buying points to choose the right Custom Political Banners configuration.
-
Outdoor Stage or Building Facade Versus Indoor Rally Hall
Outdoor placements take the most abuse. Go with 16 oz PVC Flex vinyl for any stage backdrop, building facade, or fence line where the banner stays up for weeks. The heavier weight holds flat against the surface in wind without pulling at the brass grommets. For indoor rally halls and debate watch parties, 11 oz vinyl keeps costs lower and still prints crisp candidate messaging at full color. That said, don't order 11 oz for any placement that faces direct sun or rain, even briefly.
-
Single Event Versus Full Campaign Trail Bulk Order
Here's the thing: a single rally banner and a full campaign trail order need different planning timelines. Standard production runs 1 to 2 business days. Bulk orders of 10 or more banners typically add 1 to 2 business days on top of that. Build at least 3 to 5 business days of lead time into your event calendar before placing the bulk order, so production and shipping both clear before your kickoff date.
-
Standard Single-Sided Versus Double-Sided for Two-Way Visibility
Most campaign placements only face one direction, so single-sided is the default. But a street median, a rally entrance corridor, or any location where voters approach from two directions needs a double-sided banner with a blockout liner. That's a white layer between the front and back prints. Without it, the back print bleeds through the front face and both sides read poorly.
-
Seamed Large-Format Versus Standard Under-10-Foot Sizing
Any banner wider or taller than 10 ft ships with a welded seam (a heat-fused join that holds the full piece flat under tension). Plan your design so the seam lands in a solid background area, not across a candidate photo or logo. And if your rally stage backdrop runs 12 ft or taller, account for the seam placement in your artwork before you submit the file.
Pair it with
Add Candidate Visibility Before Voters Reach the Banner
Custom Flags planted at the parking lot entrance or curb give your campaign a second layer of visibility from down the street. Plant them at every event entrance before anyone reaches the main banner.
Cover the Sidewalk and Street-Level Gap
A-Frame Signs on the sidewalk direct foot traffic from the curb to the event entrance. They cover the space your banner can't reach from above. Table Covers dress the campaign table under a canopy so your full setup reads as one coordinated display.
Shelter the Campaign Trail Stop
Canopy Tents cover outdoor voter registration drives and campaign trail stops. Volunteers get shade and a branded overhead presence. Your banners hang from the tent frame while the tent itself carries the campaign name at eye level.
Permanent Signage for Campaign Headquarters
Custom Signs in metal or acrylic work for the campaign office entrance. A vinyl banner would wear out before the election cycle ends there. Custom Vinyl Banners in the standard outdoor line cover general campaign signage when industry-specific templates aren't the priority.
FAQs
Can I Get My Banners Delivered Before the Rally Date If I Order This Week?
Most likely yes, but the math matters. Standard production runs 1 to 2 business days. Orders placed before 12 PM EST start production the same day. Bulk orders of 10 or more banners typically add 1 to 2 business days. Factor in both production and your carrier's transit time when you count back from the rally date. The tighter the deadline, the sooner you need to submit your approved artwork.
Will the Candidate's Photo Print Clearly at Large-Format Banner Size?
Resolution is what determines this. Photos need a minimum of 150 DPI at the final print size, and 300 DPI for any banner under 4 ft where viewers get close. At rally-stage scale, most campaign photos sourced from a photographer at 300 DPI or higher print sharp enough to read clearly from the back of the room. A blurry source file is not something the printing process can fix, so check your image resolution before uploading.
What Happens If My Banners Arrive Damaged or the Colors Look Wrong?
We reprint at no charge. If your banner arrives damaged or the print does not match the approved proof, contact us and we make it right before your event date. This is why approving the free digital proof carefully matters: we send the proof within 24 hours and nothing goes to print until you confirm it. Color accuracy depends on submitting your file in CMYK mode so the printed output matches your screen file as closely as possible.
Do I Need to Check Local Rules Before Ordering a Large Outdoor Political Banner?
Yes, and do this before you finalize your size. Many municipalities set limits on banner dimensions, placement distance from polling locations, and how long signs can stay up before and after an election. We print to the size you order. Verifying local ordinances for your specific campaign locations is the campaign team's responsibility, not ours.
Can I Order Different Sizes in the Same Bulk Order for Different Campaign Locations?
You can. A single bulk order can include multiple sizes, and volume pricing applies to the total banner count across the order. A campaign trail order mixing 4 ft x 8 ft stage backdrops with smaller 2 ft x 4 ft canvassing banners still qualifies for volume discounts at 10 or more banners total.
Get your artwork right
Resolution matters more than most campaign teams expect. We accept PDF, PNG, JPG, and AI files. AI (Adobe Illustrator vector format) is the best choice for logos and text-heavy candidate layouts because vector art scales to any banner size without softening.
- Resolution
- Set your minimum resolution to 150 DPI. For any banner under 4 ft wide, push to 300 DPI. That's where viewers stand close enough to spot a soft edge on a candidate photo or a blurred party logo.
- Bleed and safe zone
- Add 0.25 in of bleed (extra artwork beyond the trim line) on all four sides. Keep every text element and logo at least 0.5 in inside the trim line, the safe zone, so nothing gets cut off during finishing.
- Color mode
- Set your color mode to CMYK before exporting. RGB is a screen color space. CMYK is how we print, so converting before upload keeps your party colors and candidate palette as close to your screen file as possible.

Care instructions
Cleaning Your Vinyl Banner
- Wipe the surface with a damp cloth and mild soap after each campaign event. Do not machine wash or submerge the banner in water. PVC Flex vinyl cleans up quickly and does not need any special solution.
Storage and Transport Between Events
- Roll your banner for storage rather than folding it. Folding creates crease lines that show in the printed surface, and on a candidate banner those creases land right across faces and text. Store rolled banners in a cool, dry place away from direct sun between events. If a crease forms during transport, lay the banner flat in direct sunlight for roughly 30 minutes and the vinyl relaxes back to a smooth surface.
