How to orderSpecifications
The 2x3 Micro GeoMetrix Tabletop Display runs a 2-panel-wide by 3-panel-tall rectangular grid on an aluminum pop-up frame. Each panel is 240g elastic polyester attached magnetically, making it the mid-size option in the rectangular Micro GeoMetrix family. It fits 6 ft tables best and is built for indoor use only.
- Material
- 240g elastic polyester fabric.Thick, stretch-knit construction pulls taut over the aluminum grid so each panel sits flat with no bunching.

- Finishing
- Magnetic panel attachment.Magnetic strips are sewn into each panel edge and snap directly onto the aluminum grid frame with no tools.

240g Elastic Polyester Panels on an Aluminum Pop-Up Grid Frame
240g elastic polyester is the fabric every panel runs on. It's a thick, stretch-knit material that pulls taut over the aluminum grid. That weight matters. Lighter fabrics sag toward the table center once the display sits under warm trade show lighting for a few hours. At 240g, each panel stays flat and smooth across the full 2x3 grid without bunching or dipping. And the aluminum pop-up grid frame locks into shape the moment you open it, giving the panels a sturdy base to pull against.
Magnetic Panel Attachment With Tool-Free Setup
Magnetic strips sewn into each panel edge snap directly onto the aluminum grid frame. No clips, no loose hardware to lose in a conference room, no tools needed at any point. One person can attach all six panels and be display-ready in roughly 2 to 5 minutes. That's the setup window A2Z Printing Hub builds this system around: fast enough for a solo rep setting up at a client office before the meeting starts.
Dye Sublimation Color That Stays Sharp Panel to Panel
Dye sublimation printing converts ink into a gas that bonds directly into the polyester fibers. Color lives inside the fabric rather than sitting on the surface. It cannot crack, peel, or fade under trade show lighting. Bold graphics stay crisp from the first event to the tenth. But the real payoff is consistency: every panel in the grid matches, so your brand reads as one cohesive display rather than six separate pieces.
Customer reviews
Offers a professional layout option for tabletop presentations.
The wider footprint helps with stability on the table.
It's still manageable for tabletop use despite the wider format.
The wider format is good for visual storytelling or displaying a sequence of information.
The 2x3 grid tabletop display gives us more horizontal display area, which works well for our product layouts.
Ideal for
Not the best fit for
Floor-standing displays that need a freestanding structure taller than a table. Retractable Banner Stands or Pop Up Displays are the right call there.
Large backdrop walls covering 8 ft or more of width. Backdrops on an aluminum EZ Tube frame handle that scale without compromise.
Outdoor use in wind or rain. The 240g elastic polyester panels and magnetic attachment system are not rated for weather. Custom Banners with grommets are the better option outside.
How to choose
Use these buying points to choose the right 2x3 Micro GeoMetrix Tabletop Display configuration.
-
Rectangular Grid, X-Frame, or Triangular Configuration
Rectangular grids like the 2x3 create a flat backdrop wall behind your table. That's the right call when you want attendees to read your brand straight ahead. X-frames (the X and Double X configurations) put a dynamic, multi-angle shape in the center of the table, so traffic from 2 or 3 directions sees a different face. Triangular configurations give you 3-sided visibility on a small circular footprint. Start with rectangular if a clean backdrop behind product samples is the goal.
-
Matching the 2x3 to Your Table Length
The 2x3 is sized for 6 ft tables. The 1x3 is narrower and fits 4 ft tables at the end position. The 2x2 is a square format that suits small tables where equal height and width matter more than backdrop width. The 3x3 needs an 8 ft table and gives you the maximum surface in the rectangular family. Match grid width to table length so the display does not overhang the edges and look unintentional.
-
The 2x3 Micro GeoMetrix Versus a Flat Tabletop Retractable Stand
Here's the thing: these two products do fundamentally different jobs. The 2x3 Micro GeoMetrix builds a 3D multi-panel structure with real height and width across a 6 ft table. A tabletop retractable stand (like the Silverstep) is a single flat panel that pulls up from a cassette mechanism (a spring-loaded housing at the base). Choose the 2x3 when you want a display that fills the back of a 6 ft table with a structured, multi-face presence. Choose the retractable when one flat panel is enough and fastest possible setup matters most.
-
Tabletop Display Versus a Floor-Standing Display
The 2x3 sits on the table and does not touch the floor. But if your booth space allows floor-standing displays, a Retractable Banner Stand or Pop Up Display gives you more height and visibility from across the show floor. If your space is tabletop-only, the 2x3 is the right call. Check your show contract for floor display restrictions before you order.
Pair it with
Finish the Table Surface Below Your Display
Your 2x3 grid covers the backdrop. A branded Table Cover wraps the surface directly underneath it, so the full table reads as one unit instead of a display sitting on a bare folding table. Custom Flags outside the venue pull foot traffic toward your table before attendees even reach your row.
Other Sizes in the Micro GeoMetrix Rectangular Family
The 2x3 fits 6 ft tables. Go narrower with the 1x3 for end-of-table placement, or step up to the 3x3 when you need maximum coverage across an 8 ft table. Match the grid width to your table so nothing overhangs the edges.
When a Tabletop Display Is Not Enough
Retractable Banner Stands stand on the floor beside your table. They add height the 2x3 cannot reach. Pop Up Displays give you a larger freestanding structure when your booth contract allows floor displays.
Upgrade the Full Booth Environment
Backdrops on an aluminum EZ Tube frame replace the tabletop display when you move to a full backwall setup. That's the right path when you need 8 ft or more of width. Trade Show Booths cover the complete booth environment when tabletop-only no longer fits your show goals.
FAQs
Will the 2x3 Display Look Substantial Enough at a Real Trade Show Booth?
It holds its own. The 2x3 runs 2 panels wide by 3 panels tall, so the structure fills the back of a 6 ft table with real vertical presence. And the 240g elastic polyester pulls taut over the aluminum grid frame, which means panels sit flat and smooth rather than sagging in the middle. Buyers who worry it will look improvised are usually surprised by how structured it reads under trade show lighting.
Can One Person Set Up the 2x3 Display Without Help at the Show?
Yes, and most people do. Pop the aluminum grid frame open on the table, then attach each magnetic panel one at a time. Total setup runs roughly 2 to 5 minutes for the full 2x3 configuration. No tools, no loose hardware, no second set of hands needed.
Do the Magnetic Panels Stay Attached If Someone Bumps the Table?
The magnetic strips are sewn directly into the panel edges and snap onto the aluminum grid frame with enough hold to stay put through normal table contact. That said, a hard direct impact could dislodge a panel. It will not damage anything. Just snap it back into place in seconds.
Can I Reorder Just the Graphic Panels When My Messaging Changes?
Yes. The aluminum grid frame is reusable indefinitely. Order replacement magnetic panels when your branding or messaging updates. Worth knowing: panels are configuration-specific, so a replacement set for the 2x3 is sized for the 2x3 frame only.
Will the 240g Elastic Polyester Panels Wrinkle After Folding in the Carry Bag?
The 240g weight is thick enough that panels resist deep creasing during transport. Stack them flat in the carry bag as designed. If minor wrinkles appear, the elastic stretch of the fabric pulls most of them out once the panels attach to the frame under tension.
Get your artwork right
The 2x3 Micro GeoMetrix Tabletop Display prints across 6 separate panels. Each panel is its own printed piece, so your file setup matters more here than on a single-panel display.
- File Formats
- PDF, PNG, JPG, or AI. Vector AI files work best for logos because they scale without softening.
- Resolution
- 150 DPI minimum. We recommend 300 DPI for any panel where viewers stand within 3 to 4 ft of the display.
- Bleed
- 0.25 in on all edges of each panel file.
- Safe Zone
- Keep logos and body text at least 0.5 in from panel edges.
- Color Mode
- CMYK only. RGB is a screen color space. CMYK matches how we print, so your colors come out on fabric the way they look on your monitor.
Here's the thing about panel seams: do not let logos or key text span across two panels. The magnetic gap between panels breaks any image that crosses it. Keep critical content centered within individual panels.
Our free online design tool includes 2x3 configuration-specific templates with panel boundaries already marked. A professional design service is also available if you want us to handle the layout. Submit your print-ready file and our team sends you a free digital proof within 24 hours.

Care instructions
Magnetic Panels (240g Elastic Polyester)
- Remove panels from the frame after each event. Machine wash cold with mild detergent if needed, then tumble dry low. The magnetic strips are sewn into the panel edges and survive washing. Do not iron over the magnetic strips.
Aluminum Grid Frame
- Collapse the frame fully after use and wipe with a dry cloth. Check pop-up joints for smooth operation. If joints feel stiff, apply a drop of silicone lubricant (a thin fluid that keeps joints moving freely without attracting dust).
Transport and Storage
- Panels stack flat and the frame collapses into the included carry bag. Do not stack heavy items on top of the bag during storage or transit. Between events, store the carry bag upright in a dry space. Avoid leaving the display assembled for extended periods, since sustained tension on the frame joints over several weeks can affect the pop-up mechanism.
