   The tabletop Silverstep sits on a 6 ft or 8 ft table at seated eye level. Choose floor-standing for any freestanding placement beside a door, wall, or booth display. Choose tabletop for registration desks and check-in counters.

3. Silverstep vs a Standard Retractable Stand

   Here's the thing: the cassette system costs more upfront, and that difference is only worth it under one condition. You need to swap graphics at least 2 times per year.

   Replacement cassettes cost a fraction of buying a new standard retractable unit each time, so the hardware pays for itself by the second or third swap. If you need one graphic for one event and won't change it again, order a standard retractable stand instead. It does the same job at a lower upfront cost.

4. Vinyl vs Fabric Graphic Material

   Vinyl gives you a smooth, wipe-clean surface with bold color output and a slightly lower graphic cost per cassette. Fabric gives you zero glare under event lighting and a softer look that reads cleanly under trade show spotlights.

File format matters before anything else. Submit your artwork as a PDF, AI, PNG, or JPG. Vector files (AI or PDF with outlined fonts) are the best choice for logos because they scale without losing edge sharpness.

Worth knowing: your 24 in graphic cassette is width-specific. A file sized for a 36 in cassette will not fit this base. Confirm your width before uploading.

Resolution

minimum 150 DPI, recommended 300 DPI for graphics under 4 ft wide. At 24 in, viewers get close enough to spot a soft edge, so 300 DPI is the safer target.

Bleed

0.25 in on all four sides. Bleed is the extra image area that extends past the cut line so no white border shows after trimming.

Safe zone

keep all text and logos at least 0.5 in from each edge. Anything closer risks getting clipped during finishing.
