How to orderSpecifications
The X Micro GeoMetrix Tabletop Display runs on an aluminum pop-up grid frame with 240g elastic polyester graphic panels that attach magnetically. It sits on a standard table and creates a 3D X-shaped silhouette visible from multiple approach angles. This display is built for indoor tabletop use only.
- Material
- 240g elastic polyester fabric panels on an aluminum pop-up grid frame. The 240g weight keeps panels taut under tension so graphics read crisply across each face.
- Print Method
- Dye sublimation (ink converts to gas and bonds directly into polyester fibers).Colors absorb into the fabric rather than sitting on top, so the surface stays smooth and does not crack.
- Color Output
- Full-color CMYK using cyan, magenta, yellow, and black.Logos, gradients, and photographic images all reproduce accurately across every panel.
- Finishing
- Magnetic panel attachment along panel edges. No clips, no velcro, no tools.Panels snap onto the aluminum grid frame and remove just as easily for replacement or washing.
- Size Range
- Fits on 4 ft to 8 ft tables depending on placement. Open center leaves room for product samples or brochures on either side.
- Indoor/Outdoor Rating
- Indoor use only. Frame and magnetic polyester panels are not rated for outdoor wind or rain.
- Single/Double-Sided
- Each face of the X frame carries its own graphic panel. Visitors from different angles see different branded faces.
- Weight
- Complete kit (frame, panels, and carry bag) is portable enough for one person to carry and transport.
Features
Key highlights
- Single X-Frame Aluminum Structure With Open Center Silhouette
- 240g Elastic Polyester Panels With Magnetic Attachment
- Tool-Free Setup and Carry Bag Included
Single X-Frame Aluminum Structure With Open Center Silhouette
The aluminum pop-up grid frame locks into a single X shape directly on your table. That open center is the point: instead of presenting one flat face to the room, the X silhouette draws eyes from multiple approach angles at once. Flat rectangular tabletop displays cannot do that. A2Z Printing Hub builds this frame so it pops open and holds its shape without any locking hardware or tools. Multi-directional visibility. Built into the structure itself.
240g Elastic Polyester Panels With Magnetic Attachment
Each graphic panel runs 240g elastic polyester, a thick, taut fabric that holds its shape under tension so your graphics read crisply across every face. That 240g weight sits heavier than most tabletop fabric displays on the market, which keeps panels flat rather than loose or rippled. Each panel attaches magnetically along its edges, no clips, no velcro, no tools. Panels align cleanly and swap out when your message changes. Crisp output. Smooth surface.
Tool-Free Setup and Carry Bag Included
Setup runs roughly 2 to 5 minutes for one person. Pop the frame open on the table, attach the magnetic panels, and you're done. But here's the thing: that same carry bag that brings your kit to the show also fits under a conference room table or in a car trunk without rearranging anything else. The whole kit collapses flat and packs away just as fast as it goes up. Portable. Sturdy. Ready again at the next event.
Customer reviews
Feels sturdy once it's set up on the table.
Setup is straightforward, similar to other pop-up displays.
It's still relatively compact for tabletop use despite the unique shape.
The X shape allows for some creative and dynamic graphic layouts.
The X grid design is unique and eye-catching for a tabletop display. It definitely draws attention.
Ideal for
Not the best fit for
Floor-standing displays where you need height above table level. Retractable Banner Stands handle that job and stand independently on the show floor.
Large backdrop walls behind a stage or full booth backwall. Backdrops cover 5 ft to 20 ft widths that no tabletop unit can match.
Outdoor use in wind or rain. The 240g elastic polyester panels and magnetic attachment system are not rated for weather exposure. Custom Banners on vinyl with grommets hold up outdoors.
How to choose
Use these buying points to choose the right X Micro GeoMetrix Tabletop Display configuration.
-
Rectangular Grid vs X-Frame vs Triangular Shape Family
Shape family is the first call, and it determines everything else. Rectangular grids (1x3, 2x2, 2x3, 3x3) read as a flat backdrop behind your table. Triangular configurations give 3-directional visibility in a compact footprint, useful where traffic wraps around a corner. The X frame is the right pick when you want a display that reads as a distinct 3D object on the table rather than a flat panel. Start with the X if your table sits in open space with foot traffic on more than one side.
-
X-Frame vs Double X Based on Table Width
Table width decides which X configuration fits. The single X suits 4 ft to 6 ft tables and keeps a tight center footprint with room on either side for brochures or product samples. The Double X spans wider and suits 8 ft tables where you want more branded panel faces across the surface. If your assigned table is 6 ft or shorter, the single X is the right call.
-
X Micro GeoMetrix vs Flat Tabletop Retractable or Tension Fabric Display
Here's the thing: a tabletop retractable stand (Silverstep) pulls up as one flat panel and retracts into a base. A tabletop tension fabric display curves slightly but still presents a single face to the room. The X Micro GeoMetrix creates a 3D structure with multiple visible faces. Choose the X when one flat panel isn't enough to hold attention from multiple directions.
-
Center-of-Table vs End-of-Table Placement
Placement angle shapes which configuration earns its keep. End-of-table placement suits the 1x3 rectangular configuration, which is tall and narrow. Center-of-table placement is where the X frame works hardest: traffic approaches from the front and both sides, and each face of the X carries a separate graphic. Place the X at center and leave the table ends open for literature or samples.
Pair it with
Brand the Table, Not Just the Display
The X frame sits on the table. A branded Table Cover wraps the folding table below it, so your color palette runs from the tabletop surface all the way up through each panel face. That continuity turns a bare rental table into part of the display.
Scale Up to a Wider X Configuration
The single X fits on 4 ft to 6 ft tables. If your assigned table is 8 ft, the Double X spans more surface and adds more branded panel faces without leaving the X shape family.
Try a Different Shape for a Different Visibility Pattern
The X delivers multi-directional visibility, but the Triangular Medium Micro GeoMetrix gives 3-directional presence in a tighter footprint. For corner placements where only 3 approach angles matter, the triangular shape fits the space better.
Add Height When the Table Isn't Enough
Tabletop displays work for close-range attention. Retractable Banner Stands stand on the floor beside your table and pull eyes from across the room, adding height the X frame cannot reach on its own.
FAQs
Will the X Shape Look Finished and Intentional, or Will It Look Like a Display That Tipped Over?
The X frame locks into shape through the aluminum pop-up grid mechanism, so the open center is a deliberate part of the structure, not a gap. Each face of the X carries its own 240g elastic polyester panel pulled taut under tension, which keeps edges crisp and flat. Buyers who see it in person consistently read it as a 3D branded object rather than a flat display that fell sideways. It does not look accidental.
How Does the Magnetic Panel System Hold the Fabric in Place During a Busy Show?
Magnetic strips are sewn directly into the edges of each 240g elastic polyester panel. Those strips snap onto the aluminum grid frame and hold the panel under tension across the full face of the X. The connection is firm enough that bumping the table or brushing past the display will not shift a panel. And if you do need to swap a panel mid-show, it pulls off cleanly and the replacement snaps back in without tools.
Can I Reorder Just the Graphic Panels When My Messaging Changes?
Yes. The aluminum frame is reusable across events with no degradation to the pop-up joints or structure. Replacement graphic panels are available separately, so you only pay to reprint the 240g polyester faces when your campaign, product line, or branding changes. The panels are configuration-specific, so order replacements sized to the X frame, not a rectangular grid set.
Does the Open Center Leave a Gap That Looks Unfinished From the Front?
The open center is the silhouette, not a missing piece. Each arm of the X carries a graphic panel, and the negative space between arms draws the eye inward rather than reading as a void. From a straight-on approach, visitors see two graphic faces framing the center opening. That contrast is what makes the X shape more visible from across a room than a solid flat panel.
How Long Does Setup Take Before a Show Opens?
Roughly 2 to 5 minutes for the complete kit. Pop the aluminum grid frame open on the table surface, then attach each magnetic panel to its face of the X. The magnetic connection is immediate, so there's no adjusting or re-aligning. Most exhibitors finish setup well before registration opens.
Get your artwork right
Each face of the X Micro GeoMetrix Tabletop Display is a separate printed panel. Submit one file per panel, not one continuous image across the full display.
- File Formats
- PDF, AI, PNG, or JPG. AI files are best for logo-heavy designs because vector art (artwork built from mathematical paths rather than pixels) scales to any panel size without losing edge sharpness.
- Resolution
- 150 DPI minimum. For any panel under 4 ft wide, 300 DPI keeps text and logo edges crisp at close viewing distances, which is exactly where tabletop visitors stand.
- Bleed
- 0.25 in on all edges of each panel file. **Safe Zone:** Keep logos and text at least 0.5 in from each panel edge.
- Color Mode
- CMYK (cyan, magenta, yellow, black) rather than RGB. CMYK matches our dye sublimation process, so colors on screen translate accurately to the printed panel.
Worth knowing: logos and text must stay within a single panel. The magnetic seam between panels creates a visible gap, and any image crossing that gap will break at the joint.

Care instructions
Magnetic Panels (240g Elastic Polyester)
- Remove panels from the frame after each event. Machine wash cold with mild detergent if needed, then tumble dry low. The magnetic strips are sewn into the panel edges and survive washing. Do not iron over the strip edges.
Aluminum Grid Frame
- Collapse the frame fully after each use and wipe it with a dry cloth. Check the pop-up joints for smooth operation. If any joint feels stiff, apply one small drop of silicone lubricant directly to the joint. Do not force the frame open or closed.
Storage and Transport
- Panels stack flat inside the carry bag, and the collapsed frame fits into the same bag alongside them. Store the bag upright between events. Heavy items stacked on top can stress the frame joints over time.
