8.8 oz Spandex-Blend Fabric That Grips Every Edge

Spandex-blend polyester at 8.8 oz runs on every cover we build here. The four-way stretch fabric pulls tight around the table on all sides, gripping the legs so the cover stays anchored without clips or ties. Most table covers shift by hour three of a busy show. This one doesn't. The spandex-blend grips under the table legs and holds every panel flat all day, giving you a sculpted surface instead of a draped one.

Full-Color Dye Sublimation Across All Four Sides

Dye sublimation runs across all four sides at 300 DPI. The process heats ink into a gas that bonds directly into the fabric fibers. That resolution keeps logos sharp and text readable from across a 10 ft booth aisle. And because the ink bonds into the fibers rather than sitting on top, graphics stay vivid through 50 or more machine washes without cracking or peeling. A2Z Printing Hub applies stretch compensation to every template so logos display correctly once the spandex pulls tight around the table.

Rear Zipper Panel With Hemmed Edges and Fitted Corners

Hemmed edges and fitted corners hold the cover's shape under full spandex tension. The rear zipper panel opens for under-table access without pulling the cover off. Worth knowing: that zipper is a practical detail most exhibitors overlook until they need to grab something mid-event. Zipper access stays smooth because the hemmed edges keep the surrounding fabric from bunching against the pull.

Ideal for

Tech company exhibitors at CES or SXSW where the table cover needs to match the visual precision of the product on display.
Startup booths at design expos where a skin-tight branded table reads as intentional next to competitors using loose drape covers.
Product launch events where the demo table is part of the visual story and a wrinkle-free surface signals attention to detail.
Center-room tables at modern corporate events where all four sides face attendees and every panel carries the brand.
Recruiting tables at design-forward job fairs where a sleek table signals company culture before a word is spoken.
Cocktail-style registration tables at indoor brand activations where the cover holds its shape through a full 8-hour event.
Rebranding rollouts where a company replaces worn or outdated covers across multiple event tables in one order.
Sampling and demo stations at indoor expos where the table needs to look clean and intentional from every angle.

Not the best fit for

Spandex stretch has zero size forgiveness. Buyers unsure of their exact table dimensions should go with Standard Table Covers, which drape loosely and tolerate small size differences.

Stretch fabric reads as modern and contemporary, not formal. Fitted Pleated Table Covers suit galas, banquets, and traditional event settings better.

Buyers who do not need custom printing will spend less on Blank Table Covers in solid colors.

How to choose

Use these buying points to choose the right Stretch 4-Sided Table Covers With Zipper configuration.

  1. Stretch, Fitted, or Standard: Matching Fit Type to Brand Personality

Stretch is the right call when your brand reads as modern, tech-forward, or design-conscious. Your table should also sit in the open where all four sides face attendees. Fitted suits a tailored but traditional look. Standard suits buyers who need size flexibility or plan to steam the cover before each event. Pick your fit type first, then choose coverage.

  2. 3-Sided Open Back Versus 4-Sided Zipper: Choosing Coverage Based on Table Placement

Choose 4-sided with zipper when your table sits away from a wall and you need occasional access to supplies stored underneath. The zipper panel opens without removing the cover. If your table backs against a wall and staff never need under-table access, the standard 4-sided stretch cover without a zipper gives a cleaner rear panel.

  3. Confirming Your Table Size Before Ordering Stretch Fabric

Measure your table before placing your order. Spandex stretch fabric is cut to fit either a 6 ft or 8 ft standard collapsible folding table. There is no adjustment range. If your table is a non-standard size, go with a Standard Table Cover, which drapes loosely and tolerates small size differences.

  4. Checking Table Condition Before Committing to Spandex

Spandex presses directly against the table surface, and the skin-tight fit reveals imperfections that a loose drape cover would hide. Check your table for dents, chips, or uneven legs before ordering. Use stretch covers on tables in good condition. If your table has visible damage, a Fitted or Standard cover hides surface flaws better.

Pair it with

Vertical Branding Behind the Table

Your stretch cover handles the table surface. Retractable Banner Stands add a second branded surface at eye level directly behind it. The stand sets up in roughly 2 minutes and the carry bag stores under the table between events. A strong vertical-plus-horizontal pairing for any center-room booth.

Overhead Shelter at Outdoor Events

Light outdoor use is acceptable for this cover in calm, dry conditions. Custom Canopy Tents extend your branded zone overhead and protect the table and team from sun exposure. The canopy draws eyes from across the field while your stretch cover handles the table below.

Other Stretch Cover Sizes and Styles

Not every table at your event is rectangular or center-room. Stretch 3-Sided Table Covers With Open Back suit wall-backed setups where staff need constant rear access without a zipper. Stretch Round Table Covers wrap cocktail highboy pedestals from top to floor in a smooth branded column.

Logo Accent Layered on Top

Table Runners and Toppers lay across your stretch cover with your logo centered on the table surface. That adds a second branding layer without replacing the full-cover print. Custom Flags flanking the table pull foot traffic toward your booth from across the hall.

FAQs

Is Putting On a Stretch 4-Sided Table Cover With Zipper Harder Than a Standard Cover?

Slightly. You pull the spandex over each corner and tuck the fabric under the table legs to anchor it. Two people make the first setup faster. Once you've done it once, the process typically takes under 3 minutes. The zipper panel on the rear gives you a fixed starting point so the cover goes on squarely from the first pull.

Will the Zipper Hold Under Spandex Tension Through a Full Event Day?

Yes. The zipper on these covers is sewn into a hemmed panel with reinforced stitching at both ends, so the tension the spandex creates does not pull the zipper teeth apart. That said, open and close it a few times before the event to get a feel for the resistance. Yanking it fast against full fabric tension wears the pull tab faster than a smooth, controlled motion does.

Does Dye Sublimation Ink Stretch and Distort When the Spandex Pulls Tight Around the Table?

Dye sublimation ink bonds into the spandex fibers at the molecular level, so the ink stretches with the fabric rather than cracking or separating. Our design templates include a stretch compensation factor that compresses your artwork slightly before printing, so logos and text display at correct proportions once the fabric is pulled tight. Do not design at 1:1 scale outside our templates.

Can I Machine Wash This Cover Between Events Without Losing Color or Elasticity?

Machine wash cold with mild detergent and tumble dry on low. The dye sublimation process bonds color into the fiber permanently, so colors are rated for 50 or more washes without noticeable fading. High heat is the single biggest threat to the spandex blend. Hot water or a high-heat dryer cycle degrades elasticity over time and causes permanent stretch loss.

Does the Stretch Fabric Meet Flame Retardancy Rules at Convention Centers?

The spandex-blend polyester meets the CPAI-84 flame retardancy standard (a rating most convention centers require before allowing fabric displays on the show floor). Honestly, carry your order confirmation to the event in case a venue coordinator asks for documentation. It lists the material and rating so you can clear the check-in desk without delay.

Get your artwork right

Stretch 4-Sided Table Covers With Zipper use dye sublimation printing at 300 DPI across all four panels. Your file needs to be set up correctly before we print so colors and logos land exactly where you expect them.

We accept PDF PNG JPG AI
Accepted formats
PDF, PNG, JPG, or AI. Vector files (AI or PDF) are best for logos because they scale without softening.
Resolution
150 DPI minimum at final print size. 300 DPI is what we recommend for any graphic with fine text or tight detail.
Bleed
0.25 in on all edges. Keep logos and text at least 0.5 in from every edge so nothing gets trimmed or lost in the hem.
Color mode
CMYK, not RGB. CMYK matches how we print, so the colors you see on screen come out accurately on the fabric.

Worth knowing: spandex stretches when it wraps the table, which means logos and text can distort at 1:1 scale. Our free online design tool builds in stretch compensation automatically so your graphics display correctly once the cover is on. And if you need layout help before uploading, our optional professional design service handles the setup for you.

Submit your table cover logo and our team sends you a free digital proof showing your branding on each printed panel.

Care instructions

Product care

  • Spandex-blend polyester needs cold water and low heat at every step. Machine wash cold with mild detergent and no bleach. Hot water breaks down the spandex elasticity permanently, so the cover loses its grip on the table edges and does not recover.
  • Tumble dry on low heat or air dry flat. Do not iron directly. If a crease appears after storage, a handheld steamer on low removes it without damaging the fibers.
  • Fold loosely for storage or hang on a wide hanger. Compressing the cover into a ball creates creases that are harder to steam out than in standard polyester. With proper cold-wash care, elasticity typically holds for 2 to 3 years.
