How to orderSpecifications
Vertical Pop Out Banners run on a spring steel frame in portrait orientation. The graphic surface is 65g peach skin fabric printed with dye sublimation on both faces. These displays are built for indoor trade show floors, lobbies, retail interiors, and conference halls where fast solo setup matters most.
- Material
- 65g peach skin fabric. A soft, matte-surface polyester that takes dye sublimation ink directly into the fibers, staying smooth and glare-free.
- Print Method
- Dye sublimation. Ink converts to gas and bonds into the polyester fibers, so colors hold through repeated folding and carry bag storage.
- Color Output
- Full-color CMYK. Cyan, magenta, yellow, and black cover your complete brand palette accurately on both faces.
- Finishing
- Spring steel frame. Collapses flat for storage, pops open into a freestanding portrait display without tools or assembly steps.
- Size Range
- Portrait orientation. Exact dimensions depend on the configuration selected at checkout.
- Indoor/Outdoor Rating
- Indoor use only. Not rated for outdoor wind or rain. Plan for lobby, trade show floor, retail interior, or conference hall placement.
- Single/Double-Sided
- Double-sided standard on every unit. Both faces carry full-color dye sublimation graphics at no extra charge.
- Weight
- Roughly 5 lbs or under depending on size, carry bag included. Light enough for one person to carry alongside other event gear.

65g Peach Skin Fabric With Dye Sublimation Printing
Peach skin fabric (a lightweight polyester with a soft, matte surface) runs 65g on every unit we produce. Dye sublimation converts ink into a gas that bonds directly into the fibers rather than coating the surface. The result: colors stay bold under indoor event lighting with zero glare bouncing back at your audience. And because the ink lives inside the fiber, repeated folding into the carry bag doesn't lift or crack the graphic. A2Z Printing Hub runs this process on both faces of every display, so neither side looks like an afterthought.
Sharp colors. Smooth surface. No glare.
Spring Steel Frame That Pops Open in Under 30 Seconds
The spring steel frame collapses flat for travel. It pops open into a standing portrait display in under 30 seconds without tools or a second person on site. Here's the thing: most retractable stands need a support pole, a base lock, and a top rail. This frame skips all of that. You pop it open, set it down, and it stands on its own. Solo setup at a crowded load-in with a 45-minute window. Done.
Double-Sided Standard on Every Unit
Both faces carry full-color graphics as standard, so aisle-side placement gets brand visibility from both directions without paying for a second unit. That's roughly twice the audience reach from a single display. Worth knowing: single-sided alternatives like Retractable Banner Stands cost less per unit but miss every viewer approaching from the back.
Customer reviews
This vertical pop-up banner gives a very professional appearance to our displays. The graphic looks sharp, and the stand is sturdy. A great way to enhance our brand image.
We use these vertical banners at our point of sale to highlight special offers, and they work really well. They are tall enough to be seen easily and don't obstruct the checkout area.
This banner is so easy to carry around. It's lightweight and folds up neatly into its carry bag. Perfect for someone like me who does a lot of solo event setups.
We have limited space at some of our event locations, so the vertical banner is ideal. It provides good height and visibility without taking up too much floor area. Very practical.
The vertical format of this banner really makes our message stand out. It's great for drawing the eye upwards and making an impact in crowded spaces. Easy to assemble and looks very professional.
Ideal for
Not the best fit for
Large-format backdrop walls wider than roughly 5 ft need more surface than this display can cover. Backdrops on an EZ Tube frame give you widths from 5 ft to 20 ft for those situations.
Single-sided placements where only one face sees traffic don't need double-sided printing. Retractable Banner Stands are the lower-cost option when one face is all you need.
Any outdoor placement in wind or rain is not rated for this display. Custom Banners on PVC Flex vinyl with grommets are built for that exposure.
How to choose
Use these buying points to choose the right Vertical Pop Out Banners configuration.
-
Vertical Pop Out vs Retractable Banner Stand
The core split is double-sided visibility versus single-sided cost. A Retractable Banner Stand costs less per unit and works well when only one face sees foot traffic. But if your display sits at an aisle corner or in a lobby where visitors approach from two directions, a Retractable Banner Stand misses half your audience. Pick the Vertical Pop Out when double-sided coverage and setup under 30 seconds both matter. Pick the Retractable Banner Stand when one face is all you need and unit cost is the priority.
-
Vertical Pop Out vs Horizontal Pop Out
Orientation decides this one. Vertical stands tall in portrait format, roughly matching the silhouette of a traditional floor-standing banner stand. Horizontal runs wide in landscape format and sits lower, which suits tabletop placement or low-wall backdrops. For aisle-side floor placement where height draws attention from roughly 10 to 15 ft away, go Vertical.
-
Vertical Pop Out vs Straight Fabric Pop Up Display
Speed and carry weight separate these two. The Vertical Pop Out packs flat under 5 lbs and pops open in under 30 seconds. A Straight Fabric Pop Up Display gives you a larger wall panel with a more polished finish. It weighs 10 to 20 lbs and takes just under 1 minute to set up. Choose the Vertical Pop Out when portability and solo setup outweigh display size.
-
Single Event vs Multi-Event Use
For a single event, the spring steel frame handles the job without issue. For teams running 3 or more shows per month, the fast collapse and flat carry bag make this the most practical repeat-use option in the pop out line. Order replacement graphics separately when your message changes so the hardware keeps earning its keep.
Pair it with
Complete the Booth Surface at Eye Level and Below
A Vertical Pop Out Banner handles the vertical face. But visitors also look down at the table in front of it. A branded Table Cover closes that gap and gives your booth a finished look from floor to standing height without adding floor space.
Single-Sided Flanking Displays at Lower Cost Per Unit
Retractable Banner Stands work well beside a Vertical Pop Out. Add one on each side of a booth entrance and each flanking stand faces one direction only, so single-sided printing keeps the per-unit cost lower.
Other Shapes in the Pop Out Line
Portrait height is not always the right call. Horizontal Pop Out Banners handle tabletop and low-wall placement where width matters more than height. Tower Pop Out Banners rise above crowd height when you need a visible landmark from across the show floor.
Larger Formats and Outdoor Alternatives
Backdrops cover wall widths from 5 ft to 20 ft. Use one when your display needs more surface than a single pop out panel can give you. Custom Flags handle outdoor aisle marking in wind where this display is not rated.
FAQs
Do Vertical Pop Out Banners Hold Their Own Next to Retractable Stands on a Show Floor?
Worth knowing: the difference disappears at normal viewing distance. The 65g peach skin fabric takes dye sublimation ink directly into the fibers, so colors read bold and sharp from roughly 10 ft away. The spring frame sits behind the printed graphic and stays out of sight. Most visitors cannot tell the difference between a pop out and a retractable stand once both are standing.
How Do I Collapse the Spring Frame After the Event?
Twist the frame into a figure-8 shape, then fold it flat into the included carry bag. The motion takes 10 to 15 seconds once you've done it once. And it is worth practicing at home before your first event so load-out does not slow you down. Do not force the frame flat without the figure-8 twist first, or you risk bending the spring steel.
Can I Replace the Graphic Without Buying a New Frame?
Yes. The printed 65g peach skin fabric detaches from the spring steel frame so you can order a replacement graphic separately. The hardware keeps working event after event. This is the most cost-effective way to update your message mid-season without repurchasing the full unit.
Is the 65g Peach Skin Fabric Thick Enough to Block Light Bleed From the Opposite Face?
The short answer is yes for normal indoor event lighting. Dye sublimation bonds ink into the polyester fibers rather than sitting on the surface, so the graphic stays opaque under standard conference hall and trade show floor lighting. Direct backlit setups are not this product's environment. These displays are rated for indoor use only.
What Is the Setup Time Compared to Retractable Stands?
Both set up in under 30 seconds, but the motion is different. A retractable stand pulls the graphic up and locks a support pole. A pop out banner pops the spring steel frame open and stands on its own without a pole or base assembly. Neither needs tools.
Get your artwork right
Accepted file formats are PDF, PNG, JPG, and AI. Vector files (AI or PDF) work best for logos because they scale without losing edge sharpness.
- Resolution
- Resolution runs a minimum of 150 DPI, but 300 DPI is the right target for any graphic element viewed from under 6 ft. Soft edges show up at that distance, and most buyers don't catch them until they see the proof. Set your color mode to CMYK, not RGB. CMYK matches how we print, so the colors you see on screen translate accurately to both faces of the display.
- Bleed and safe zone
- Add 0.25 in of bleed (extra image area beyond the trim edge) on all sides. Keep all text and logos at least 0.5 in from the trim edge inside the safe zone. And because both faces carry graphics, your layout needs to read correctly from either direction. Centered logos and symmetrical designs avoid mirroring problems on the reverse face.

Care instructions
Product care
- Machine wash the 65g peach skin fabric graphic in cold water with mild detergent if it picks up dust or surface marks. Tumble dry on low. Steam any wrinkles before your next event so the dye sublimation colors read sharp and flat under lighting.
- After each event, twist the spring frame into a figure-8 shape and fold flat into the included carry bag. Do not leave the frame popped open during storage because sustained spring tension weakens the frame over time. Wipe the spring steel frame with a dry cloth and check the edges for debris before the next pop-open. Also, rotate the fold direction between events rather than creasing the fabric along the same line repeatedly.
