Specifications

6.5 ft x 6.5 ft Custom Canopy Tents run on a 600 D polyester canopy printed with full-color dye sublimation and mounted on a hexagonal aluminum pop-up frame. This is a mid-size outdoor shelter built for solo vendors and small teams who need a branded presence in compact booth spaces.

Material
600 D polyester (a tightly woven outdoor fabric) with UV treatment and water resistance. The UV treatment slows color breakdown from direct sun so the canopy holds its color longer outdoors.
Print Method
Full-color dye sublimation. Ink bonds into the polyester fibers, not onto the surface. The print cannot peel, crack, or bubble, even after repeated outdoor seasons.
Color Output
Full CMYK color range across the canopy top and valances.Logos, gradients, and photographic images all reproduce accurately in a single print pass.
Finishing
Pop-up scissor frame that expands and locks without tools. Wheeled carry bag included. Both come standard with every order at no extra cost.
Size
6.5 ft x 6.5 ft canopy footprint. Fits one standard folding table and one to two chairs. This size covers compact booth allotments in the 6 to 7 ft range.
Indoor/Outdoor Rating
Rated for outdoor use. Expect 1 to 2 seasons of regular outdoor use before noticeable fading.Water-resistant and UV-treated fabric holds up through light rain and direct sun.
Single/Double-Sided
Single-sided canopy top printing is standard. Optional sidewall printing is available separately.Full walls, half walls (roughly waist height), and window walls are each sold as add-ons.
Weight
Frame weight runs roughly 40 to 60 lbs depending on frame material. The aluminum frame sits at the lighter end of that range.Solo transport is realistic with the wheeled carry bag included in every order.

  • Mid-Size Coverage With Carry Bag and Wheels Included

Hexagonal Aluminum Frame With Pop-Up Scissor Mechanism

The hexagonal aluminum frame runs a pop-up scissor mechanism. That's a folding metal structure that expands and locks into place without tools. One person can have the tent standing in 5 to 10 minutes. Standard scissor frames on steel tents need two people and a mallet to seat the connectors. But the aluminum frame here snaps into position and holds without either. Solo setup before the market opens. Done.

Full-Color Dye Sublimation on 600 D Polyester Canopy

Dye sublimation converts CMYK ink into a gas that bonds directly into 600 D polyester fibers. Your graphics sit inside the fabric rather than on top of it. The result is a canopy that can't peel, crack, or bubble after a season outdoors. Valances (the short vertical panels that hang below the canopy edge) print in the same full-color pass, putting your logo on every visible face of the tent. Every canopy order includes a free digital proof before production starts, so you see the layout on the actual tent shape before we print a single inch.

Mid-Size Coverage With Carry Bag and Wheels Included

The 6.5 ft x 6.5 ft footprint covers one table and one to two chairs. It fits booth allotments in the 6 to 7 ft range that a 10x10 ft tent physically cannot occupy. And the wheeled carry bag means the collapsed frame moves as one unit from your car to your booth space. No second set of hands. No separate bags.

Got this 6.5ft x 6.5ft custom canopy tent for our community group's information stand. It's easy to put up, even with just two people, and robust enough for changeable weather. A great custom canopy tent.

Our 6.5ft x 6.5ft custom canopy tent is ideal for our local crafts market. It offers that bit more room for display but is still very manageable. The branding is a real eye-catcher on this custom canopy tent.

Ideal for

Craft fair vendors with a single-table display who need a branded shelter fitting a tight 6 to 7 ft booth allotment without overlapping neighbors.
Farmers market sellers running one folding table and a couple of chairs under a canopy that reads clearly from roughly 30 ft away.
Food vendors at outdoor pop-up events where a smaller footprint keeps the setup legal in pedestrian zones capping booth size below 8 ft.
Youth and recreational sports sidelines where one tent covers the coaching staff and a small equipment table without blocking spectator sightlines.
School fundraiser booths in parking lots where a single volunteer sets up and breaks down the tent without any help.
Restaurant owners running a weekend outdoor sampling station where the tent covers one server and a product display table.
Community brand activations where a compact branded canopy marks your location without requiring a full 10x10 ft vendor space.

Not the best fit for

Indoor trade shows with ceiling restrictions or venue rules against outdoor-style frames. Trade Show Booths handle those events without the frame conflict.

Vendors who need to cover a full 10x10 ft standard booth with room for customers to step inside. The 10x10 ft Custom Canopy Tent covers that layout completely.

Permanent outdoor shelter where year-round weather exposure is expected. Custom Banners mounted to a building structure hold up longer for fixed, long-term installs.

How to choose

Use these buying points to choose the right 6.5 ft x 6.5 ft Custom Canopy Tents configuration.

  1. Matching Tent Size to Your Booth Allotment

Measure your assigned space before you order. A 6.5 ft x 6.5 ft tent fits booth allotments of 6 to 7 ft and covers one standard folding table with one to two chairs inside. But if your market or event gives you a full 10 ft wide space, step up to the 10x10 ft Custom Canopy Tent. Using the full footprint you paid for matters more than keeping the setup compact.

  2. Custom Printed vs Blank Canopy

Here's the thing: a blank canopy saves money upfront but does nothing for your visibility from across a crowded market. A custom printed canopy puts your logo and brand colors on the top and valances, readable from roughly 30 ft away. Go blank only if you plan to add separate Custom Flags and banners and want to hold the initial order lower.

  3. Aluminum Frame vs Steel at This Size

  4. Solo Vendors Who Carry Between Locations

The aluminum frame runs lighter than steel at the same 6.5 ft x 6.5 ft size. That difference matters most when you're moving the tent from a car to a booth space without a second set of hands. The wheeled carry bag helps, but a lighter frame is still easier on a solo load-in.

  5. Fixed Weekly Setup

Steel is a stable alternative if you set up in the same spot every weekend and weight is not a concern. That said, the aluminum frame handles moderate wind just as well with proper anchoring.

  6. Adding Sidewalls Based on Weather

Full sidewalls block wind and light rain on all three open sides and give you extra print space for your brand. Half walls (roughly waist height) cut wind while keeping your booth open and visible to foot traffic. Order sidewalls as an add-on when you check out so the whole package ships together.

Pair it with

Brand Every Surface From Ground to Canopy Top

Your canopy top carries your logo above the crowd. A fitted or stretch Custom Table Cover brings that same branding down to the table surface directly below it. Your 6.5 ft x 6.5 ft space reads as one cohesive display from any angle. Also consider A-Frame Signs at the booth entrance to catch foot traffic before buyers even look up.

Pull Eyes From Across the Market

A feather or teardrop Custom Flag planted at the corner of your tent marks your location from roughly 30 ft out. Buyers spot the flag first, then read the canopy. Custom Banners add flat messaging along the sidewalls or behind the table when you need more text or product details than the canopy valance can hold.

When Your Event Space Grows

A 6.5 ft tent fits tight booth allotments well. But when your market gives you a full 10 ft wide space, the 10x10 ft Custom Canopy Tent covers that footprint with room for customers to step inside. Or try Blank Canopy Tents if you want the same frame at a lower starting cost and plan to add flags and banners for branding.

When Your Event Moves Indoors

Venues with ceiling height rules or hard floors make an outdoor-style frame the wrong tool. Trade Show Booths and Banner Stands and Displays handle those spaces cleanly without the frame bulk.

FAQs

How Much Space Does a 6.5 ft x 6.5 ft Canopy Tent Actually Cover at a Market Booth?

The canopy covers a footprint of 6.5 ft x 6.5 ft, which fits one standard folding table and one to two chairs. That's the right match for booth allotments listed at 6 to 7 ft. You won't have room for customers to step inside, so this tent works best for counter-style setups where buyers approach the table from outside the canopy.

Will the Dye Sublimation Print Hold Up Through Rain and Direct Sun?

The 600 D polyester canopy is UV-treated and water-resistant, so light rain and full sun are within its normal range. Dye sublimation bonds CMYK ink directly into the polyester fibers rather than sitting on the surface, which means the color cannot peel or crack. Expect 1 to 2 outdoor seasons of regular use before noticeable fading begins.

How Long Does Setup and Breakdown Take for One Person?

The pop-up scissor frame (a scissor-style mechanism that expands and locks without tools) goes up in 5 to 10 minutes solo. Breakdown runs about the same time in reverse. Most solo vendors have the tent standing and the table set before neighboring booths finish unloading.

Does the Carry Bag Fit the Full Frame and Canopy Together?

Yes. The wheeled carry bag is sized to hold the collapsed frame and canopy as one unit. You don't need a separate bag for each component. Wheels on the bag handle the roughly 40 lb aluminum frame across a parking lot or gravel path without lifting.

Can I Reorder Just the Canopy Fabric if the Frame Is Still Good?

Replacement canopy tops are available separately. If your frame is still solid after a season, you can reorder the printed canopy fabric on its own rather than replacing the full tent. Contact us before ordering to confirm compatibility with your existing frame.

Get your artwork right

Resolution sets the difference between a crisp canopy graphic and a soft one. Submit files at 300 DPI (dots per inch, the measure of image sharpness) for the canopy top and valances. 150 DPI is the floor we accept, but anything under 300 DPI on a surface this size can show soft edges up close.

We accept PDF PNG JPG AI
Accepted Formats
PDF, PNG, JPG, or AI. Vector files (AI or PDF built in a vector program) scale without losing sharpness, so they're the right choice for logos.
Color Mode
CMYK, not RGB. Dye sublimation prints in CMYK, so RGB files shift color during conversion. Submit in CMYK and your greens stay green, your reds stay red.
Bleed
0.25 in on all edges. Bleed (the extra artwork that extends past the cut line) keeps color printing edge to edge without a white gap at the border.
Safe Zone
Keep logos and text at least 0.5 in from the finished edge so nothing important gets trimmed.

Care instructions

Canopy Fabric

  • Hose down the 600 D polyester canopy after dusty or muddy events. For stubborn spots, use mild soap and a soft brush. Air dry completely before folding to stop mold from forming inside the carry bag.
  • Fold the canopy loosely when packing. Tight folds crease the dye sublimation print over time and can press a permanent line across your graphics. Store the dry canopy in a cool, dry place inside the carry bag.

Aluminum Frame

  • Clean the frame joints and connectors after each use. Check sliding mechanisms for sand or grit, which stiffens the pop-up scissor action over time. Apply silicone spray to stiff joints before storing.
  • And never leave the tent set up unattended in high wind without weight bags or ground stakes securing all four legs. That's the single fastest way to damage an otherwise sturdy aluminum frame.
