Specifications

20 ft x 13 ft Custom Canopy Tents cover roughly 260 sq ft on a hexagonal aluminum frame with a 600 D polyester canopy printed in full-color dye sublimation. This size suits multi-vendor setups, sports sidelines, and large outdoor brand activations where a single shelter needs to carry the whole event footprint.

Material
600 D polyester canopy with water-resistant and UV-treated coating. The 600 D weave (denier counts thread thickness) gives the canopy a sturdy, thick feel that resists tearing at grommets under wind load.
Print Method
Full-color dye sublimation transfers CMYK ink directly into the polyester fibers using heat. The result is a smooth, fade-resistant graphic that does not crack or peel off the fabric surface.
Color Output
CMYK full color across the entire canopy top and valances.Gradients, photos, and multi-color logos all reproduce without banding or color shift.
Finishing
Pop-up scissor frame that expands and locks without tools. Wheeled carry bag included on every order.
Size
20 ft x 13 ft. Covers roughly 260 sq ft of ground.
Indoor/Outdoor Rating
Rated for outdoor use. Expect 2 to 3 seasons of regular use before noticeable fading.
Single/Double-Sided
Single-sided canopy top printing standard. Optional sidewall printing available on full walls, half walls, and window walls ordered separately.
Weight
Frame weight runs roughly 40 to 60 lbs depending on frame material. The hexagonal aluminum frame sits at the lighter end of that range.

  • Hexagonal Aluminum Frame With Wheeled Carry Bag Included

260 sq ft of Branded Coverage on 600 D Polyester

600 D polyester (denier measures thread thickness in the woven fabric) forms the canopy on every tent we print at this size. The 600 D weave gives you a tough, water-resistant surface that holds at grommets and seams when wind picks up. A2Z Printing Hub applies a UV-treated coating over the printed surface, so your graphics don't fade after a few weekends in direct sun. Expect 2 to 3 seasons of regular outdoor use from a canopy stored and cleaned correctly.

Full-Color Dye Sublimation Across the Canopy Top and Valances

Dye sublimation (a process where heat transfers ink directly into polyester fibers) runs your CMYK artwork across the full canopy top and valances. Valances are the short vertical skirt of fabric hanging below the canopy edge. The ink bonds inside the fabric rather than sitting on the surface, so it won't crack, peel, or wash off after rain. Your logo reads bold and crisp from across a crowded event ground because the color lives in the weave itself. Sharp gradients, photos, and multi-color marks all reproduce cleanly at this scale.

Hexagonal Aluminum Frame With Wheeled Carry Bag Included

The hexagonal aluminum frame collapses on a pop-up scissor mechanism and packs into a wheeled carry bag. The scissor-style structure expands and locks into position without tools. At roughly 40 lbs, it sits at the lighter end of the 40 to 60 lb frame range for this size class. A crew of 2 can move and set up 260 sq ft of shelter in roughly 5 to 10 minutes. No tools, no loose parts, no instruction sheet to track down at 7 a.m. before a market opens.

Ideal for

Multi-vendor market rows where 2 or 3 sellers share one large shelter instead of running separate 10 ft x 10 ft tents with gaps between them.
Sports team sidelines at outdoor tournaments where a full roster of 15 or more athletes needs a shaded, branded home base.
Outdoor trade show areas where a 20 ft wide footprint fits a demo table, a display wall, and a customer zone under one roof.
School fundraisers and booster club events where a large canopy marks the organization's booth from across a packed field.
Restaurant patios and food vendor setups where the extra width covers a full service counter plus a customer queue without crowding.
Corporate brand activations where a 20 ft canopy gives sponsors a visible, shaded anchor point for the whole event footprint.
Farmers market operators running a double-wide booth slot who need one shelter instead of two tents side by side.

Not the Best Fit For

Indoor trade shows where ceiling height and venue rules make a 10 to 11 ft peak canopy impractical. Trade Show Booths are the better fit there.

Permanent outdoor shelter where year-round weather exposure needs a structure rated beyond seasonal use. Custom Banners handle building-mounted signage instead.

A standard single 10 ft x 10 ft booth slot is too small for this footprint. A 10x10 Custom Canopy Tent fits that space exactly without overlapping neighbors.

How to choose

Use these buying points to choose the right 20 ft x 13 ft Custom Canopy Tents configuration.

  1. Matching Your Booth Footprint to the 20 ft x 13 ft Size

Your event space dictates your tent size. This tent covers roughly 260 sq ft, so it fits a double-wide vendor slot or a shared row up to about 20 ft across. But if your assigned space is a standard single 10 ft slot, this tent overlaps neighboring booths. Go with a 10x10 Custom Canopy Tent for that footprint instead.

  2. Aluminum Frame Versus Steel Frame for Your Transport Situation

Portability matters more than most buyers expect. The hexagonal aluminum frame runs roughly 40 lbs, which a 2-person crew can carry from a parking lot to a setup site without a cart. Steel frames weigh more and resist wind better, which makes sense if you set up in the same outdoor spot every week and never load out alone. For vendors who travel between multiple markets, aluminum is the right call.

  3. Sidewall Options for Weather Protection and Added Branding

  4. Full Walls Versus Half Walls

Full sidewalls seal all 4 sides against wind and light rain. That matters most for food vendors and anyone displaying products that cannot get wet. Half walls (about waist height) keep your booth open and visible while still cutting wind at the sides. Order sidewalls as a package with your tent so the dye sublimation graphics match across every surface.

  5. When to Skip Sidewalls Entirely

Skip them if your event runs in calm, dry weather and you want foot traffic to walk in from any direction. You can always add walls later as a separate order.

  6. Custom Printed Canopy Versus Blank Canopy at This Size

Here's the thing: 260 sq ft of blank canopy is a lot of missed real estate. A custom printed canopy at this size puts your logo and brand colors where crowds can read them from 30 ft away or more. A blank canopy costs less upfront and works if you plan to hang Custom Banners and Custom Flags separately for branding. Upload your artwork, review the free digital proof, and confirm every graphic reads clearly before approving production.

Pair it with

Surface Coverage Inside the Canopy

Your 260 sq ft overhead canopy handles the top. Bare folding tables underneath undercut the branded look you built. A fitted or stretch Table Cover carries your colors down to ground level where buyers stand closest.

Pulling Eyes Toward the Entrance

Custom Flags flanking your tent entrance pull attention from roughly 40 ft away. Buyers spot them before they step close enough to read your canopy graphics. Pair 2 flags, one on each side of the opening, for a clear visual anchor at ground level.

Adding a Second Message Layer at Eye Level

Your canopy top reads well from a distance, but it's too high to scan up close. Custom Banners hung from the frame or clipped to sidewalls add bold messaging right at eye level where buyers stop and look. Banner Stands and Displays work the same way if you need a freestanding option inside the shelter.

When the Event Moves Indoors

Most indoor venues won't clear a 10 to 11 ft peak canopy. Trade Show Booths handle those spaces. An A-Frame Sign on the sidewalk outside points foot traffic toward your indoor location.

FAQs

How Many People Does It Take to Set Up a 20 ft x 13 ft Canopy Tent?

Two people is the practical minimum for this size. The pop-up scissor frame (a scissor-style aluminum structure that expands and locks without tools) covers 260 sq ft, and spreading it evenly takes one person on each side. A crew of 2 can typically get the frame up and the canopy attached in roughly 5 to 10 minutes once they've done it once.

Will the Dye Sublimation Print Hold Up Through a Full Outdoor Market Season?

Yes, with normal care. Dye sublimation transfers CMYK ink directly into the 600 D polyester fibers rather than sitting on top of the surface. Color does not crack or peel under sun exposure. Expect 2 to 3 seasons of regular outdoor use before noticeable fading. Hose the canopy down after each event and air dry it fully before packing to get the most out of that range.

How Does the Wheeled Carry Bag Handle a Frame This Large?

The carry bag ships with every tent and holds the collapsed frame and canopy as one unit. Wheels on the bag let a single person roll it across a parking lot or event ground without lifting the full weight. That said, loading the bag into a vehicle still takes 2 people at this size.

Can I Add Printed Sidewalls After I Place My Initial Order?

You can order sidewalls separately at any time. But ordering them with your tent gets you matching dye sublimation graphics across the canopy top, valances, and walls in one production run. Ordering walls later means a second proof approval and a separate production cycle of 3 to 5 business days.

What Anchoring Do I Need to Keep a Tent This Size Stable in Wind?

Weight bags or ground stakes on all 4 legs are not optional at this size. Weight bags (sand or water-filled bags that attach to the tent legs) work on hard surfaces like pavement where stakes can't go in. Ground stakes anchor directly into grass or packed dirt. Do not leave the tent set up unattended without anchoring in place, regardless of how calm the weather looks at setup time.

Get your artwork right

Resolution sets the floor for print quality on a canopy this size. Submit at 150 DPI minimum, but 300 DPI at full print size gives you crisp edges on logos and text across the full canopy top and valances. Soft files show up in the proof, and catching them there saves you a reprint.

We accept PDF PNG JPG AI
Accepted formats
PDF, PNG, JPG, AI. Vector files (AI or PDF built in vector) are the best choice for logos because they scale to 20 ft without losing edge sharpness.
Color mode
CMYK, not RGB. RGB files convert to CMYK during production, and that shift can move your brand colors noticeably. Submit in CMYK and what you see on screen is much closer to what prints on the fabric.
Bleed
0.25 in on all edges. Keep logos and text at least 0.5 in inside the trim line so nothing critical gets cut at the seam.

Care instructions

Product care

  • Hose down the 600 D polyester canopy after each outdoor use to clear dirt and debris. Clean stubborn stains with mild soap and a soft brush. Do not use bleach on the dye sublimation print because bleach breaks down the UV coating and fades the ink faster.
  • Air dry the canopy completely before folding and packing. Storing it damp causes mold to form inside the carry bag. Fold loosely, since tight folds crease the printed surface over time, and keep the full kit in a cool, dry place between events.
  • Wipe the aluminum frame joints after each use and check sliding mechanisms for sand or grit. Apply silicone spray to any stiff joints before storing the frame. Never leave the tent set up unattended in high wind without weight bags or ground stakes anchoring all 4 legs.
