1. Your Booth Footprint Comes First

   Steel sits heavier but holds more stable in sustained wind at a fixed location. Here's the thing: if you travel between markets on different weekends, aluminum is the clear call. If you set up at the same spot every Saturday and wind is your main concern, steel gives you more stability without extra effort.

3. Canopy-Only Printing Versus Adding Sidewalls

   The canopy top and valances (the short fabric skirts hanging below the canopy edge) print by default. That's enough for most solo vendors who want shade and visible branding. Adding printed sidewalls turns your tent into a 4-sided display.

   Full sidewalls block wind and light rain on all sides. Half walls keep your booth open to foot traffic while still cutting wind at waist level. Order full sidewalls if weather protection matters at your venue. Order half walls if visibility is the priority.

4. Timing Your Order Around Your Event Date

   Custom printed canopy tents ship in 3 to 5 business days after proof approval. Standard shipping adds 2 to 5 business days on top of that. Order at least 2 weeks before your first market day.

   That window covers proof review, production, and transit without cutting it close. Rush production is available if your timeline is tighter, but plan for the standard window when you can.

Resolution determines how sharp your canopy graphics look up close. Submit files at 150 DPI minimum. For canopy tops and valances where viewers get close enough to notice a soft edge, 300 DPI is the better target.

Accepted formats

PDF, PNG, JPG, AI. Vector files (AI or PDF) are preferred for logos because they scale without losing detail across the full canopy surface.

Color mode

CMYK, not RGB. CMYK matches how dye sublimation ink layers combine during printing, so your colors come out on the canopy the way they look on your screen. RGB files can shift noticeably after conversion.

Bleed

0.25 in on all edges. **Safe zone:** keep all text and logos at least 0.5 in from the finished edge so nothing gets trimmed or folded under during finishing.
