How to orderSpecifications
Custom No Trespassing Signs print on .040 aluminum, a rigid, rust-proof metal sheet about 1mm thick. This is the same material used for commercial road and regulatory signs. It holds its shape on a post, fence, or wall and stays readable outdoors for 5 or more years.
- Material
- .040 aluminum, rust-proof and rigid.Holds its shape on a post or fence without warping through heat, cold, or moisture.
- Print Method
- Direct UV print (ink cured instantly by ultraviolet light on the aluminum surface).Produces a scratch-resistant, waterproof finish that does not peel or bubble.
- Color Output
- Full color across the entire sign face.Bold reds, blacks, and whites reproduce with sharp, high-contrast text readable at a distance.
- Finishing
- Straight or rounded corners available.Rounded corners reduce sharp edges on fence-mounted or post-mounted signs where contact is likely.
- Size Range
- 12x18 in, 18x24 in, and 36x24 in.The 12x18 in fits most U-channel post hardware. The 36x24 in suits high-visibility gate or fence mounting.
- Indoor/Outdoor Rating
- Rated for permanent outdoor use. Typically holds up 5 or more years in direct sun, rain, and freeze-thaw conditions.Aluminum does not rust, so no protective coating or seasonal treatment is needed.
- Single/Double-Sided
- Available single sided or double sided.Double-sided printing suits entry points where traffic approaches from both directions.
- Corner Style
- Straight or rounded corners.Rounded corners are the standard choice for post and chain-link fence mounting.

.040 Aluminum That Will Not Rust Outdoors
.040 aluminum forms the base of every sign we print. Roughly 1mm thick, it's the same gauge used for commercial road signs across the country. That gauge holds its shape on a fence post, wall bracket, or U-channel post without warping under heat or cold. Aluminum doesn't rust, so your posted boundary text stays legible through freeze-thaw cycles, coastal humidity, and years of direct sun. Most signs hold up 5 or more years outdoors without replacement.
Direct UV Print in Full Color With Straight or Rounded Corners
Direct UV print bonds color to the sign face so it won't peel, bubble, or wash off in rain. Ink cures instantly by ultraviolet light directly on the aluminum surface. Bold reds, blacks, and whites reproduce with sharp contrast, so your warning text reads clearly from a distance. Your choice of straight or rounded corners lets you match standard regulatory signage or reduce sharp edges on fence-mounted signs where contact is likely. A2Z Printing Hub prints both options on the same .040 aluminum substrate with no change to durability.
Three Sizes Built for Property Boundary Posting
Three sizes cover the range most landowners and facility operators actually need. That's 12x18 in for single-post boundary markers, 18x24 in for fenced access points, and 36x24 in for high-visibility gate or fence-panel mounting. The 36x24 in sign reads clearly from a vehicle at typical approach speeds. That size range also covers most state posting-dimension requirements, though you should confirm your state's specific rules before ordering.

Ideal for
Not the best fit for
Storefront branding or building identification belongs on a Business Sign with logo-forward design, not a regulatory access sign.
Public road installation is a government function. These signs are for private roads, lots, and properties only. Custom Banners or Yard and Lawn Signs cost less for temporary access control lasting a few weeks or under.
How to choose
Use these buying points to choose the right Custom No Trespassing Signs configuration.
Pair it with
Complete the Property Boundary Line
Many landowners post both ownership and access-restriction language at the same boundary. Custom Private Property Signs identify who the land belongs to, while your no-trespassing signs state the legal consequences.
Add Night Visibility to Posted Boundaries
A sign that reads clearly at noon can disappear after dark on a rural road or private drive. Custom Reflective Signs use engineer-grade reflective sheeting on .040 aluminum so your posted boundaries bounce headlights back toward the driver.
Build a Full Private Road Package
Gate and road entrances that need access restriction often need traffic control too. These three products cover the full picture for private roads and gated communities.
Temporary or Short-Run Boundary Marking
Aluminum signs are the permanent solution. But sometimes you need a boundary marked fast before the aluminum arrives. Custom Banners and Yard and Lawn Signs on corrugated plastic cover temporary access restriction during construction or transitional periods.
FAQs
Get your artwork right
Resolution matters more than most buyers expect on a sign posted at a distance. We accept PDF, PNG, JPG, and AI files. AI (vector) is the best choice for logos and text-heavy regulatory signs because vector art scales to any size without softening. For raster files (PNG, JPG), 300 DPI is the target. 150 DPI is the minimum floor.
- Bleed
- 0.25 in on all sides. Keeps the background color from showing a white edge after trimming.
- Safe zone
- Keep all text and logos at least 0.5 in from the edge so nothing gets clipped at the corner cut.
Anything below 300 DPI on a 12x18 in sign shows soft edges on close inspection. Set your color mode to CMYK before you export. RGB looks fine on screen but shifts when converted to print, and bold reds and blacks on no-trespassing signage need accurate conversion to stay sharp.

Care instructions
Product care
- Wipe the sign face with a damp cloth and mild soap once or twice a year to clear dirt and road film. Skip abrasive scrubbers. They scratch the UV-cured surface and dull the print over time.
- Aluminum does not rust, so the sign face needs no coating or seasonal treatment. Inspect mounting hardware once a year. Wind and temperature swings loosen bolts and post brackets over time. Retighten as needed.
- And if a sign takes impact damage from a vehicle or equipment, replace it. A bent face reduces readability and may not meet your state's posting requirements.
