- Full-color CMYK across all three walls.Logo color and spacing stay uniform from the back wall across both side walls.

1.25 In Aluminum EZ Tube Frame With Three-Wall Coverage
The 1.25 in diameter aluminum EZ Tube frame snaps together without tools. It forms a U-shaped enclosure across three connected walls. That shape is the whole point. Logos appear on the back wall and both side walls simultaneously, so every camera angle captures at least two logo surfaces in a single frame. No flat backdrop gives you that. The aluminum tubing stays lightweight enough to pack into the included carry bag and reuses across every future event without replacement.
Pillow-Case Polyester Fabric That Zips Tight Over All Three Sides
The pillow-case graphic is a fabric sleeve that zips around the frame like a pillowcase, hiding all hardware. It stretches tightly over all three walls so the surface reads smooth and flat in photos. No visible poles. No connectors breaking up the logo pattern. Crisp edges where the back wall meets each side wall. We print this graphic using dye sublimation, where ink converts to gas and bonds into the polyester fibers. Bold, saturated color. Matte finish that absorbs camera flash without glare.
Tool-Free Numbered Pole Assembly With Carry Bag Included
Numbered poles connect using a push-button mechanism, so two people can assemble the full three-wall structure in roughly 10 to 15 minutes. No tools. No guessing which tube connects where. The numbers tell you the sequence. Once your event wraps, the frame breaks back down into tube sections that fit into the included carry bag for transport. Replacement graphics ship separately and lighter whenever your sponsor roster changes.
Customer reviews
This backdrop effectively creates a defined photo zone at our events. The U-shape naturally frames the subjects in the photos. Easy to transport and assemble.
The U-shape provides more surface area for displaying our logos and branding. It allowed us to create a more impactful visual display. Lightweight and relatively easy to set up.
The U-shape is unique and eye-catching, helping our event stand out. It provides a different look than standard backdrops. Easy to set up and the fabric graphic looks great.
We used this U-shaped backdrop for our trade show booth, and it worked perfectly. It defined our space and provided a great backdrop for interacting with visitors and taking photos.
The U-shape of this EZ Tube backdrop really creates an immersive backdrop for photos. It feels more enclosed and makes for a unique photo experience. Assembly was straightforward.
Ideal for
Not the best fit for
Single large-design backdrops where one graphic covers the full wall without a repeating logo pattern. A straight or curved Backdrop handles that job better.
Simple portable displays where a photo wall is not needed. A Retractable Banner Stand or Non Retractable Banner Stand is the right choice there.
Outdoor photo walls exposed to wind or rain. This display is rated for indoor use only. A vinyl banner with grommets on an outdoor structure handles weather-exposed setups.
How to choose
Use these buying points to choose the right Step and Repeat U Shaped Tension Fabric Displays configuration.
-
Your Event Involves Flash Photography From Professional Cameras
The matte polyester fabric absorbs flash without hot spots. Hot spots are the blown-out bright patches that wash logos off a glossy vinyl surface. Vinyl step and repeat options reflect flash directly back at the lens, so logos disappear in the frame. For any press event, red carpet, or gala where photographers carry strobes, order the U-shaped tension fabric version and skip vinyl entirely.
That's not a preference. It's the material that does the job.
-
Your Venue Load-In Window Runs Under 30 Minutes
Worth knowing: two people can assemble the full three-wall U shape in roughly 10 to 15 minutes using the numbered push-button poles. No tools, no guesswork on which tube goes where. But if your load-in window is tighter than 10 minutes, a pop-up straight or curved step and repeat opens faster. For anything at or above 10 minutes, the U shape is manageable and worth the extra wall coverage you get.
-
Four or More Sponsors Need Equal Visibility Across Every Camera Angle
A flat backdrop puts logos on one wall. The U shape puts logos on three walls simultaneously, so every camera angle captures at least two logo surfaces in the frame. That coverage gap matters most when your sponsor roster hits 4 or more brands.
For 1 to 2 sponsors on a single flat wall, a straight tension fabric display costs less and sets up faster. Go with the U shape when equal multi-sponsor visibility from every direction is the actual job.
-
Your Event Program Will Grow Beyond This Season
The 1.25 in diameter aluminum EZ Tube frame reuses across every future event without replacement. When your sponsor roster changes next season, you order a replacement pillow-case graphic only. That swap costs a fraction of buying new hardware. Start with the U shape now, and reorder updated fabric graphics as your program grows.
Pair it with
Complete the Branded Photo Zone at Table Level
A Table Cover in front of the U-shaped enclosure gives guests a surface for name badges, programs, or event materials. One branded surface leads into the next, keeping the full zone cohesive from table to backdrop.
Alternative Step and Repeat Shapes for Different Venues
Some venues call for a flat wall or a curved surface instead of a three-wall enclosure. These formats use the same EZ Tube hardware system so your setup process stays familiar.
Extend the Branded Zone Beyond the Enclosure
Retractable Banner Stands placed 3 to 4 ft outside each side wall add sponsor messaging at standing eye level for guests queuing before stepping inside. That flanking placement keeps logos in frame during wide-angle video coverage too.
Build the Full Event Environment Around the Display
Custom Flags outside the venue entrance direct guests toward the photo station from across the room. Trade Show Booths handle full booth environments where the U-shaped display is one element inside a larger branded activation space.
FAQs
Do the Side Walls Show Logos Clearly, or Does the Angle Distort the Pattern?
The repeating logo pattern tiles flat across each wall section independently, so the side walls read as straight surfaces, not angled panels. Dye sublimation printing bonds color directly into the polyester fibers at full CMYK output, keeping logos sharp from any camera position inside or outside the enclosure. Photographers shooting from the front still capture both side walls in frame. No distortion, no perspective compression that breaks the logo grid.
Can Two People Assemble the Full U-Shaped Frame at a Venue Without Tools or Prior Experience?
Yes. The numbered poles tell you exactly which section connects to which, so prior experience is not needed. Two people working the push-button connectors can get the full three-wall structure standing in roughly 10 to 15 minutes. The pillow-case graphic zips over the assembled frame from the outside and pulls tight without adjustment.
What Happens to the Fabric Graphic After the Event? Can It Be Washed and Reused?
Unzip the pillow-case graphic from the aluminum frame and machine wash it cold with mild detergent. Tumble dry low, then steam any wrinkles before the next event. Dye sublimation color bonds into the polyester fibers rather than sitting on the surface, so repeated washing does not fade or crack the logo pattern. Most buyers reuse the same graphic across multiple events without reprinting.
Is the U-Shaped Frame Stable Enough for a Busy Event Space With Guests Walking In and Out?
The 1.25 in diameter aluminum EZ Tube frame holds the three-wall structure upright on flat indoor flooring without external support. Guests stepping inside and exiting throughout the night do not destabilize it, because the U shape is self-bracing across three connected wall sections. Place it on a level surface and keep the pillow-case graphic zipped tight so the fabric tension adds rigidity to the frame.
How Far in Advance Do I Need to Order for My Event Date?
Production runs 1 to 2 business days after proof approval. Order before 12 PM EST and production starts the same day. Add your chosen shipping speed on top of that production window. For most domestic events, ordering 5 to 7 business days out gives you a comfortable buffer including shipping transit.
Get your artwork right
Your file covers three connected wall panels. The repeating logo tile must read cleanly across the back wall and both side walls as one continuous pattern.
- Accepted formats
- PDF, PNG, JPG, or AI. Vector AI files are preferred for logos because they scale without softening at any wall width.
- Resolution
- 150 DPI minimum. Go to 300 DPI for any logo under 4 ft wide. That's where viewers step close enough to catch a soft edge.
- Bleed
- 0.25 in on all edges. The pillow-case graphic wraps around frame edges on the side wall panels, so bleed on those edges is not optional.
- Safe zone
- Keep every logo and line of text at least 0.5 in from each edge.
- Color mode
- CMYK, not RGB. CMYK matches how we print, so colors come out on fabric the way they look on your screen.
- Logo sizing
- Each logo should stand at least 4 to 6 in tall so it reads clearly from roughly 4 to 6 ft away. For multi-sponsor grids, submit each logo as a separate file and note your preferred arrangement.
Our free online design tool handles logo tiling and repeat pattern layout. A professional design service is also available if you want our team to build the grid for you. Submit your artwork as a print-ready file and our team sends you a free digital proof within 24 hours.

Care instructions
Product care
- Unzip the pillow-case graphic from the aluminum frame after each event. Machine wash cold with mild detergent and tumble dry low. Steam any wrinkles out before the next event so the surface reads flat and smooth in photos.
- Fold the clean, dry fabric graphic loosely for storage. Do not compress it tightly under heavy items, which can set permanent creases into the polyester fibers.
- Wipe each aluminum EZ Tube section with a dry cloth after use. Check the push-button connectors for dust or debris and clear them before reassembly.
- Store the full frame kit in the included carry bag between events. Do not stack heavy equipment on top of the bag. Bent tube sections do not snap together cleanly, so protect the bag during transport.
