How to orderSpecifications
The 16.4 ft x 10 ft U-Shape Magnetic Modular Fabric Display is a three-sided enclosure built for indoor trade shows and conference floors. It runs flame-retardant 240g tension fabric on a tool-free magnetic aluminum frame across a front wall and two side walls. This display suits sales teams and marketing managers who need a fully branded demo room without hiring a setup crew.
- Material
- Flame-retardant 240g tension fabric (tightly woven polyester rated to resist ignition).Stretches over the frame under constant pull, keeping each wall face smooth and wrinkle-free across the full 16.4 ft span.
- Print Method
- Dye sublimation.Ink bonds into the fabric fibers under heat, so it will not crack, peel, or fade between shows.
- Color Output
- Full-color, covering the entire fabric surface on both faces of each wall panel.Your branding reads clearly from every approach angle inside and outside the enclosure.
- Finishing
- Pillowcase-style sleeve (a zippered fabric cover that wraps around each frame section). No hardware shows through the graphic surface, so the finish looks clean from edge to edge.
- Size
- 16.4 ft wide by 10 ft tall across the three-wall U-shape footprint. The enclosed floor space runs roughly 160 sq ft for demos, seating, and product displays.
- Indoor/Outdoor Rating
- Indoor use only.Tension fabric and magnetic aluminum joints are not rated for outdoor wind or rain exposure.
- Single/Double-Sided
- Double-sided on every wall panel.Outer faces of the two side walls carry branding visible to aisle traffic approaching from either flank.
- Frame
- Aluminum tubes at 32mm diameter and 1.1mm wall thickness, with magnetic joints and a lifetime hardware warranty. You replace fabric graphics between shows. The structure itself does not need replacement.

Three-Wall Enclosure Across a 16.4 ft Front
A 16.4 ft front wall paired with two flanking side walls turns a standard booth assignment into a contained room. The U-shape layout wraps your team on three sides, so attendees step into a space that blocks aisle noise and keeps their attention on your demo. Most open backwall setups lose a prospect to foot traffic within 90 seconds. This layout holds them. A2Z Printing Hub builds every U-shape enclosure to cover roughly 160 sq ft of enclosed floor space, giving your team room for seating, a demo station, and product displays simultaneously.
Flame-Retardant 240g Tension Fabric, Double-Sided
Flame-retardant 240g tension fabric stretches across every wall panel under constant pull. It's a tightly woven polyester rated to resist ignition and meet most venue fire codes, so each surface stays smooth and wrinkle-free across the full span. Dye sublimation bonds ink directly into the fibers under heat, so color won't crack, peel, or fade the way surface-applied inks do. Both faces of every wall panel carry full-color graphics, which means attendees approaching from outside the enclosure see sharp branding on the side wall exteriors too.
Bold graphics. Crisp edges. No bare surfaces anywhere.
Tool-Free Magnetic Frame With Lifetime Warranty
Aluminum frame sections lock at magnetic joints. Snap-together connectors align and hold without any tools or loose hardware to carry. Your team raises all three walls without a contractor on a busy show morning. The lifetime warranty covers defects in the aluminum and the magnetic joints. Replace graphics between shows, not the structure itself.

Ideal for
Not the best fit for
Exhibitors assigned an inline row space who only need a flat backwall. An **Inline Trade Show Booth** covers that layout at a lower cost.
First-time exhibitors wanting the simplest 10 ft x 10 ft setup. A **Curved Trade Show Booth** is a better starting point.
Buyers who need a built-in TV stand, podium, or counter in the kit. **Modular Trade Show Booths** include those accessories as part of the package.
How to choose
Use these buying points to choose the right 16.4 ft x 10 ft U-Shape Magnetic Modular Fabric Display configuration.
-
Your Booth Footprint Needs to Fit the U-Shape Layout
The three-wall configuration needs roughly 16.4 ft of assigned width and at least 8 to 10 ft of depth. Confirm both measurements with your show organizer before ordering. A footprint that runs short on depth forces the side walls into neighboring space, which most venues flag as a violation. Use the exact numbers from your booth assignment to verify the fit.
-
A U-Shape Enclosure Serves a Different Goal Than a Flat Backwall
Here's the thing: a flat or curved backwall maximizes aisle visibility and keeps your booth open. The U-shape trades that openness for containment. If your team runs demos or consultations that need a prospect's attention for more than 2 minutes, the enclosure wins. Aisle noise drops inside a three-sided structure, and attendees have fewer visual distractions pulling them back toward the floor.
Go with a flat backwall only if your primary goal is broad foot traffic volume rather than focused engagement.
-
Double-Sided Graphics Matter on Side Walls Facing an Open Aisle
-
Side Walls Against a Neighbor
Your side wall faces another exhibitor's booth, not open aisle traffic. Single-sided graphics on those panels cover the interior without the cost of printing the outer face.
-
Side Walls Facing a Cross-Aisle
But if your booth sits at an intersection or end cap where both side walls face foot traffic, double-sided graphics add a second round of branding. Single-sided panels simply can't deliver that. Attendees approaching from either flank see your full-color graphic instead of a blank fabric back.

Order Timing Determines Whether You Have the Kit at the Show
Production runs 3 to 5 business days. Add shipping time on top of that. Order at least 2 weeks before your show date for standard production. If your show is under 2 weeks out, ask about rush production when you place your order so the timeline gets flagged before production starts.
Pair it with
Finish the Interior With a Matched Table Surface
Your three fabric walls set the branded tone. A bare folding table inside the enclosure breaks it. A Branded Table Cover printed in the same dye sublimation process ties the demo or reception table to the surrounding walls, so the full interior reads as one cohesive space.
Add a Second Layer at the Booth Entrance
Retractable Banner Stands placed at the open front of the U-shape give attendees something to read as they decide whether to step inside. That pause runs roughly 3 to 5 seconds. Secondary messaging there converts curious passersby into booth visitors.
Pull Foot Traffic From Further Down the Aisle
Custom Flags posted at the aisle end of your row draw eyes from 45 to 55 ft away. Attendees spot them before reaching neighboring booths. Tabletop Displays inside the enclosure give seated prospects a closer look at product specs or collateral during a demo.
Step Up, Step Down, or Change the Silhouette
The Curved U-Shape and U-Shape Wave run on the same magnetic frame system in different profiles. Drop to a 13 ft x 10 ft version if your assigned space is narrower. Move to a 20 ft x 10 ft layout if you need a larger enclosed footprint.
FAQs
Can Two People Raise the Full Three-Wall Display Without a Crew or Tools?
Yes. Two people can raise all three walls using the magnetic joints alone, no tools and no loose hardware to track. The magnetic sections align and lock under fabric tension, so the structure comes together in sequence: front wall first, then each side wall clicks into position. Most teams finish the full raise in well under an hour on a busy show morning.
Will the Three Walls Stay Square and Rigid Once the Magnetic Joints Lock?
The 240g tension fabric stretches over each aluminum frame section under constant pull, and that tension keeps the joints tight and the walls plumb. Fabric weight and frame rigidity work together here. A loose fabric sleeve would let joints shift. The pillowcase-style sleeve keeps pull consistent across the full 16.4 ft front, so all three walls hold square throughout the show.
How Do I Swap Graphics for a Different Show Without Replacing the Frame?
Order replacement fabric panels sized to each of the three wall sections. The pillowcase sleeves unzip from the aluminum frame, so you pull the old graphics, zip the new panels on, and the structure is ready again. The aluminum frame carries a lifetime hardware warranty, which means you replace fabric between shows, not the structure itself. Reorder graphics only, and the frame cost spreads across every show you run.
Does the 240g Flame-Retardant Fabric Meet Convention Center Fire Requirements?
The 240g tension fabric is rated flame-retardant, meaning it resists ignition rather than burning freely on contact with a flame. Most North American convention centers require a fire safety rating for any fabric display exceeding a certain height. That said, requirements vary by venue and local code, so bring the fabric's fire certification documentation to the show just in case venue staff ask at setup.
What Happens if a Magnetic Joint or Frame Section Gets Damaged at the Show?
Contact us with the damaged section identified by position (front wall, left side, right side) and we'll work out replacement parts. The lifetime hardware warranty covers frame defects. Damage from impact at the show falls outside the warranty, but individual frame sections are available separately so you're not replacing the full kit over one bent tube.
Get your artwork right
Resolution is where most fabric displays lose sharpness before they ever reach the show floor. Submit files at a minimum of 150 DPI. Aim for 300 DPI on any panel section under 4 ft wide, where attendees step close enough to spot a soft edge.
Supply front and back artwork separately for each of the three wall panels. Account for the sleeve wrap so no logo or headline lands in that zone.
- Accepted formats
- PDF, PNG, JPG, or AI. Vector AI files work best for logos and type because they scale without softening.
- Color mode
- CMYK, not RGB. CMYK matches how our printers lay down ink on the 240g tension fabric, so the colors you approve in the proof are the colors you see on the show floor.
- Bleed
- 0.25 in on all four edges of each panel.
- Safe zone
- Keep all text and logos at least 0.5 in from each edge. Anything closer risks falling in the pillowcase sleeve wrap area, the zippered fabric edge that covers the frame.
Worth knowing: our free online design tool handles the three-panel U-shape layout. Our design team is also available if you need hands-on help sizing art across the full 16.4 ft configuration.
Submit your booth panel artwork as print-ready files and our team sends you a free digital proof showing every graphic in position.

Care instructions
Product care
- Spot clean the 240g tension fabric panels with mild soap and water. Air dry each panel fully before folding and storing. Packing damp fabric into the carry case causes mildew that's difficult to remove before your next show.
- Fold fabric panels flat rather than rolling them, and store each panel in its bag to avoid creasing across the printed surface. But don't overlook the frame: wipe each aluminum section with a dry cloth after the show and keep the magnetic joints free of grit so they align cleanly next time.
- Store the full kit in the included carry case and avoid stacking heavy items on top. Even moderate weight can bend the 32mm tubes and affect how the joints seat at the next setup.
