260 sq ft of Solid-Color Shade on a Pop-Up Scissor Frame
A pop-up scissor frame (a scissor-style metal structure that expands and locks into position without tools) covers 20 ft x 13 ft in roughly 5 to 10 minutes. That's 260 sq ft of shade your crew gets up before the first vendor arrives. No tools. No loose hardware to track across a field. Built on a hexagonal aluminum frame at the lighter end of the 40 to 60 lb range, so two people can carry, position, and lock it without a third hand.
Solid-color shade. Fast setup. Done.
600 D Polyester Canopy With Water-Resistant and UV-Treated Fabric
600 D polyester (a thick, tightly woven fabric rated for outdoor use) forms the canopy on this tent. The D stands for denier, a measure of thread density. Higher denier means a tougher weave that holds its shape in wind and resists tearing at the edges. The water-resistant finish sheds light rain, and the UV-treated coating slows sun fade across 2 to 4 seasons of regular outdoor use. Worth knowing: solid-color fabric does not carry an ink layer, so there's nothing to crack or peel off the surface over time.
Wheeled Carry Bag Included With Every Tent
Every tent ships with a wheeled carry bag. It's a padded rolling bag that holds the collapsed frame and canopy together as one unit. One person can roll it from a truck bed to the setup site without a second trip. The frame and canopy pack together, so nothing separates in transport.

Ideal for
Not the best fit for
Businesses that need overhead logo visibility at crowded outdoor markets will find a solid-color canopy disappears into a row of identical tents. Custom Canopy Tents carry your logo on the fabric itself, readable from well across the venue.
Trade show exhibitors where a blank canopy reads as unfinished beside fully branded booth structures should look at Custom Canopy Tents or Trade Show Booths instead.
Repeat weekly market vendors attending the same event every weekend will get more long-term value from Custom Canopy Tents. Printing pays for itself in brand recognition across 2 to 3 seasons.
How to choose
Use these buying points to choose the right 20 ft x 13 ft Blank Canopy Tents configuration.
-
Blank Versus Custom Printed for Your Event Type
Here's the thing: the right choice depends on whether the canopy itself needs to carry your brand. Choose blank when shelter is the job and your branding travels on banners, flags, or table covers displayed under the tent. Choose custom printed when your logo needs to read from 50 ft away, above the crowd, with nothing else competing for attention. If you're still weighing both, visit the Custom Canopy Tents page and compare the two side by side before ordering.
-
Sizing the Tent to Your Actual Coverage Need
The 20 ft x 13 ft covers roughly 260 sq ft, which fits a straight serving line, a double-table vendor setup, or a full sports sideline bench area comfortably. But if your venue assigns standard 10 ft x 10 ft vendor slots, this tent runs larger than your allotted space. Check the 10 ft x 10 ft Blank Canopy Tent instead. Rectangular coverage suits serving lines and multi-table runs better than square footprints do.
-
Adding Sidewalls for Weather Protection or Partial Branding
Sidewalls attach to the frame and ship as add-ons at checkout. Full sidewalls block wind and light rain on all four sides, which matters at full-day outdoor festivals. Half walls (about waist height) keep your booth open and visible while cutting ground-level wind. Window walls add a clear panel so buyers can see inside while you stay enclosed. Printed sidewalls let you put your logo on the walls without switching to a fully custom canopy top.
-
Single Units Versus Bulk Orders for Event Coverage
Event organizers ordering 5 or more blank tents in the same size and color qualify for volume pricing. Five matching 20 ft x 13 ft tents in one color cover roughly 65 ft of combined vendor row without paying for custom printing on each unit. Contact us before placing a bulk order to confirm color availability and lead time.

Add the Branding Your Blank Tent Doesn't Carry
The tent handles the shade. Custom Banners, Table Covers, and Custom Flags handle the messaging your canopy can't. A Custom Banner hung from the tent frame cross-bar puts your logo at eye level for every person who walks past. Table Covers brand the surface directly in front of every customer. Custom Flags at the tent entrance give you vertical branding visible from across the venue. Custom Banners | Table Covers | Custom Flags
When Your Event Moves Indoors
Not every event stays outside. Retractable Banner Stands hold your messaging upright on any flat surface without a tent frame overhead. A-Frame Signs direct foot traffic to your table or station from a sidewalk or aisle. Retractable Banner Stands | A-Frame Signs
Narrower or Larger Footprint Options
Your venue layout may need a different shape than 260 sq ft. The 20 ft x 10 ft Blank Canopy Tent covers a narrower rectangular footprint for tighter vendor rows. The 20 ft x 20 ft Blank Canopy Tent roughly doubles the coverage area for large staging zones or multi-vendor clusters. 20 ft x 10 ft Blank Canopy Tents | 20 ft x 20 ft Blank Canopy Tents

FAQs
How Does a 20 ft x 13 ft Blank Canopy Tent Hold Up in Wind and Rain at a Full-Day Outdoor Event?
The 600 D polyester canopy carries a water-resistant finish, so it sheds light rain without soaking through. Always stake or weight the legs before stepping away: the frame needs anchoring in sustained wind above roughly 25 mph. Collapse the tent when wind picks up past that threshold. Weight bags attach to the legs on hard surfaces where ground stakes cannot go in.
Can I Add My Logo or Branding to a Blank Canopy Tent After I Buy It?
Not directly onto the canopy fabric. The solid-color polyester is factory dyed, not printable after the fact. But you have solid options: hang a Custom Banner from the tent frame cross-bar at eye level, place a branded table cover on the table in front of you, or set up Custom Flags at the tent entrance. That combination gives you visible branding at three heights without touching the canopy top.
How Long Does a Blank Canopy Tent Last Compared to a Custom-Printed One?
The hexagonal aluminum frame on both versions is the same build. Expect 2 to 4 seasons of regular outdoor use from the 600 D polyester canopy fabric before noticeable wear shows at the edges or seams. Solid-color fabric does not carry an ink layer, so UV fading tends to show up later than it does on printed fabric. Store the canopy dry and loosely folded, and the frame outlasts the fabric by several seasons.
Does a 20 ft x 13 ft Blank Canopy Tent Need More Than Two People to Set Up?
Two people handle it comfortably in roughly 5 to 10 minutes. The pop-up scissor frame does the heavy work, expanding and locking without tools. Still, the 20 ft span benefits from one person on each end guiding the frame into position. A solo setup is possible but slower and harder to manage at full width.
Can I Order a Custom-Printed Canopy Top Later to Fit the Same Blank Tent Frame?
Yes. The blank tent frame and the custom-printed frame are the same hexagonal aluminum build across matching sizes. You can order a replacement custom-printed canopy top that fits your existing frame without buying a new tent. Contact us with your frame size and we'll confirm compatibility before you order.
Get your artwork right
No artwork is needed for the blank canopy top itself. The canopy ships in a solid stock color with no print file required.
- Accepted formats
- PDF, PNG, JPG, or AI. Vector files (AI or PDF with outlined fonts) are best for logos because they stay crisp at any scale.
- Resolution
- 150 DPI minimum. 300 DPI recommended for anything with fine text or detail. Files below 150 DPI print soft at sidewall scale, and that's usually only visible on the proof.
- Bleed
- 0.25 in on all edges. Bleed (the extra image area beyond the cut line) prevents white slivers at the edge after trimming.
- Safe zone
- Keep logos and text at least 0.5 in inside the edge. Anything closer risks getting trimmed.
- Color mode
- Set all colors to CMYK before exporting. CMYK (a four-ink color system used in print) matches how we print, so your colors come out closer to what you see on screen. RGB files shift on press.
But if you add printed sidewalls at checkout, your files need to meet these specs so the output comes out sharp and clean.
Use our free online design tool to build your sidewall layout from scratch. Or our professional design service builds the file for you if you're starting with only a logo and a rough idea.

Care instructions
Product care
- **Canopy fabric:** Hose down after muddy or dusty events. White and light-color solid fabrics show dirt more visibly than printed fabric, so clean promptly. Spot clean stubborn stains with mild soap and a soft brush. Do not use bleach. Air dry completely before folding.
- **Frame:** Wipe joints and connectors after each use and check the pop-up scissor mechanism for grit in the sliding parts. Apply silicone spray to stiff joints once per season.
- **Storage:** Fold the canopy loosely before packing. Tight folds crease solid-color 600 D polyester and can leave permanent fold lines over time. Store in the wheeled carry bag in a cool, dry place. Never pack the canopy damp.
- **Wind safety:** Collapse the tent when sustained wind exceeds roughly 25 mph. Always stake or weight the legs before leaving the tent unattended.
