How to orderSpecifications
The 13 ft x 13 ft X-Shape Magnetic Modular Fabric Display is a four-fin island structure built for center-floor booth assignments open on all four sides. Every fin panel runs 240g flame-retardant tension fabric printed double-sided by dye sublimation. This display suits island exhibitors who need 360-degree branded coverage without tools or a long setup window.
- Material
- Flame-retardant 240g tension fabric (tightly woven polyester rated to resist ignition).Meets fire safety requirements most convention centers and expo halls enforce for island displays.
- Print Method
- Dye sublimation.Ink converts to gas under heat and bonds into the fabric fibers, so the image won't crack or peel.
- Color Output
- Full-color, front and back on all four fins.Every branded surface reads with the same color depth from roughly 5 ft or 50 ft away.
- Finishing
- Pillowcase-style sleeve (a fabric cover that zips around each frame section). No visible hardware interrupts the graphic surface on any of the four fins.
- Size
- 13 ft x 13 ft footprint.Fills a standard large island booth assignment and leaves about 2 to 3 ft of walkable clearance inside each fin approach.
- Indoor/Outdoor Rating
- Indoor use at trade shows, conferences, and expo halls.Flame-retardant fabric meets typical venue codes. The aluminum frame holds its shape show after show.
- Single/Double-Sided
- Double-sided on all four fins.Every face of the X-shape carries a full graphic regardless of which direction an attendee approaches.
- Frame
- Aluminum with magnetic joints, tool-free assembly. Two people raise and break down the sturdy structure quickly, with no loose hardware to misplace between shows.

Four-Fin X-Shape That Brands Every Aisle Approach
Four fins radiate from a center point, each one double-sided and fully printed front and back. An attendee walking any of the four aisle approaches sees a complete branded surface, not a blank back panel or an empty edge. That's the core structural advantage of the X-shape over a flat backwall or a three-sided enclosure. We build every fin on the same magnetic aluminum frame system. The geometry that pulls sightlines from four directions is also the geometry that goes up without a tool kit. Bold coverage. Every angle.
240g Flame-Retardant Tension Fabric With Dye Sublimation
Tension fabric runs 240g on every fin panel (that's a thick, tightly woven polyester stretched under constant pull across the frame). Flame-retardant means the material carries a rating to resist ignition, which meets the fire safety requirements most convention centers enforce for island displays. Dye sublimation pushes color deep into the weave. It's a process where ink converts to gas under heat and bonds directly into the fibers, so the graphic won't crack or peel show after show. Colors stay crisp under bright expo hall lighting because the ink is part of the fabric, not a coating on top of it.
Tool-Free Magnetic Frame on a 13 ft Island Footprint
Magnetic joints on the aluminum frame sections align and lock at each connection point without tools or loose hardware. Two people can raise the full 13 ft island structure in a fraction of the time a bolt-together system takes. That matters on a busy show morning with a short setup window. The footprint covers a standard large island assignment, and the fin structure leaves open walkable space between each arm so attendees can approach the display from any direction.

Ideal for
Not the best fit for
Exhibitors assigned a standard inline row space with neighbors on both sides who face a single aisle. Inline Trade Show Booths cover that layout better.
First-time exhibitors who want the simplest setup with a podium, counter, or TV stand included in the base kit. Modular Trade Show Booths include those accessories.
Buyers working with the tightest budgets who need a credible display at the lowest entry cost. Affordable Trade Show Booths route to the right options there.
How to choose
Use these buying points to choose the right 13 ft x 13 ft X-Shape Magnetic Modular Fabric Display configuration.
Pair it with
Complete the Island Floor First
A bare folding table inside your four-fin island undercuts the branded look the fins build above it. A Branded Table Cover printed in the same dye sublimation process ties your demo or registration surface to the fin graphics overhead.
Pull Foot Traffic Before They Reach the Fins
The X-shape holds the center, but attendees need a reason to walk your aisle before they spot it. Custom Flags placed at the aisle end pull eyes from 50 ft or more away. Retractable Banner Stands at the aisle entry give arriving attendees a second touchpoint before they reach your island.
Smaller Magnetic Displays for Your Satellite Shows
Your crew already knows the magnetic assembly from this kit. The 10 ft X-Shape and 6.5 ft X-Shape use the same magnetic frame system, so setup at a smaller event takes no retraining.
Different Shapes for Different Booth Assignments
Not every show gives you a true four-sided island. The U-Shape Magnetic Modular Fabric Display suits a three-sided enclosure layout. And the Four Corner Magnetic Modular Fabric Display scales to a 20 ft island when your assignment grows.
FAQs
How Long Does Setup Take on a Busy Show Morning?
Two people can raise this display in well under the time a bolt-together system takes. Magnetic aluminum joints align and lock without tools, and each fabric panel slides onto its frame section as a pillowcase sleeve (a fabric cover that zips around the frame). No loose hardware to track, no wrench to find in a bag at 7 a.m. Most teams report being show-ready before neighboring exhibitors finish unpacking their crates.
Will the Four Fins Stay Rigid Once the Joints Lock and Fabric Tension Pulls?
Yes. The 240g tension fabric pulls against the aluminum frame from all sides once each fin panel is zipped and seated. That tension is what keeps the fin upright and flat, not just the magnetic joint alone. And because the fabric is tightly woven polyester rather than a loose mesh, it holds the frame shape without sagging between shows.
Can I Order Replacement Graphics Without Buying a New Frame?
Replacement graphics are available as a separate order. The aluminum frame carries a lifetime hardware warranty and is built to be reused show after show. Submit new artwork, approve a fresh proof, and the new fabric panels arrive ready to zip onto the same frame you already own. Graphic-only reorders cost a fraction of the original kit.
Does the 240g Tension Fabric Meet Convention Center Fire Safety Rules?
The fabric is flame-retardant, meaning it is rated to resist ignition rather than burn freely if exposed to a flame source. Most convention centers and expo halls enforce fire safety requirements for island displays, and this fabric meets those codes. That said, requirements vary by venue, so check your specific show's exhibitor manual before the event to confirm compliance.
What Happens if a Magnetic Joint or Frame Section Gets Damaged?
Contact us with the order details and a photo of the damaged section. The lifetime hardware warranty covers frame sections and magnetic joints that fail under normal use. We replace the affected part so you are not buying a full kit again over a single damaged connector.
Get your artwork right
Submit files as PDF, PNG, JPG, or AI. Vector AI files work best for logos because they scale to any fin size without softening edges.
- Resolution
- 150 DPI minimum, 300 DPI recommended for any detail a viewer reads within 5 ft of the fin face. Below 150 DPI, edges go soft in print even when they look crisp on screen.
- Bleed
- 0.25 in on all edges of every panel. Bleed (extra image area beyond the trim line) prevents white borders if the fabric shifts slightly during finishing.
- Safe zone
- Keep logos and text at least 0.5 in inside the edge on all four fins. Content too close to the seam or wrap area can disappear into the sleeve fold.
- Color mode
- Submit in CMYK, not RGB. CMYK is how we print, so colors come out closer to what you see in your screen proof.
Supply front and back artwork for each of the four fins as separate files. Account for the X-shape panel edges so no critical content falls into the seam or wrap area.
Worth knowing: a free online design tool is available, and a professional design service is offered at checkout if you want help laying out eight graphic surfaces correctly. Submit your booth panel artwork as print-ready files and our team sends you a free digital proof showing every graphic in position.

Care instructions
Product care
- Spot clean the 240g tension fabric panels with mild soap and water. Air dry completely before folding. But do not fold damp fabric into the storage bag: moisture trapped against dye sublimation print can dull colors over repeated shows.
- Fold panels flat rather than rolling them. Rolling stresses the pillowcase sleeve (the zippered fabric cover around each frame section) at the seams. Store folded panels in the included fabric bag between events.
- Wipe aluminum frame sections with a dry cloth after each show. Keep magnetic joints free of grit and debris so they align cleanly at the next build. Avoid stacking heavy items on the carry case, which can bend frame sections over time.
