How to orderSpecifications
The 13 ft x 13 ft X-Shape Wave Magnetic Modular Fabric Display runs on an aluminum magnetic frame with flame-retardant 240g tension fabric printed double-sided across all four wave fins. It suits indoor island booth assignments at trade shows, corporate conferences, and large-scale expos.
- Material
- Flame-retardant 240g tension fabric (tightly woven polyester rated to resist ignition).Stretches over each fin frame under constant pull for a smooth, wrinkle-free face across a full show day.
- Print Method
- Dye sublimation (ink converts to gas and bonds directly into the polyester fibers).Color becomes part of the fabric, so it won't crack, peel, or fade across repeated shows.
- Color Output
- Full-color on all four wave fins, front and back.Every panel reads clearly from any aisle approach at the 13 ft x 13 ft island footprint.
- Finishing
- Pillowcase-style fabric sleeves zip around each fin frame section. All hardware stays hidden, leaving a clean edge with no visible connectors on any face.
- Size
- 13 ft x 13 ft overall footprint in the X-Shape Wave configuration. Each fin extends from the central X core in a wave-curved profile.
- Indoor/Outdoor Rating
- Rated for indoor trade show and conference use only. The flame-retardant fabric meets most venue fire codes. Not rated for outdoor weather exposure.
- Single/Double-Sided
- Double-sided. Every fin carries a custom graphic on the front face and a separate custom graphic on the back. All four approach angles carry branded content without a blank reverse panel.
- Frame
- Aluminum with magnetic connectors (snap-together joints that align and hold without tools or loose hardware).Lifetime hardware warranty covers the aluminum frame and magnetic connectors.

X-Shape Wave Silhouette With Four Double-Sided Fins
Four wave-curved fins radiate outward from the central X core. Every fin prints a full custom graphic on the front face and a separate graphic on the back. No aisle approach at your 13 ft x 13 ft island assignment sees a blank reverse panel. That's the structural difference between this display and any flat backwall: 360-degree branded coverage built into the shape itself, not added on.
Flame-Retardant 240g Tension Fabric and Dye Sublimation Printing
240g tension fabric (a tightly woven polyester rated to resist ignition) stretches over each fin frame under constant pull. You get a smooth, wrinkle-free face across a full show day. A2Z Printing Hub runs dye sublimation ink directly into those polyester fibers rather than coating the surface, so colors stay crisp and don't crack or peel across multiple shows. Most venues accept the flame-retardant rating without a separate fire-code waiver. Worth knowing: the ink bonds at the fiber level, so washing doesn't lift it.
Tool-Free Magnetic Aluminum Frame That Reconfigures Between Shows
Aluminum frame sections lock at magnetic connectors. Those joints snap into alignment and hold under fabric tension without any tools or loose hardware. Setup moves faster than snap-button or spigot systems because the magnets self-align before you apply pressure. But the bigger advantage is reuse: the same hardware reconfigures for different show assignments rather than sitting in a case between events. One kit covers multiple booth layouts across your show calendar.

Ideal for
Not the best fit for
First-time exhibitors who need the simplest flat setup and don't yet need 360-degree island coverage. [Inline Trade Show Booths] are a better starting point.
Buyers who need a built-in TV stand, podium, or counter as part of the booth structure. [Modular Trade Show Booths] include those accessories in the base configuration.
Exhibitors assigned a tight inline space where a 13 ft x 13 ft footprint won't fit. A [Curved Trade Show Booth] suits a standard 10 ft x 10 ft inline assignment.
How to choose
Use these buying points to choose the right 13 ft x 13 ft X-Shape Wave Magnetic Modular Fabric Display configuration.
Pair it with
Finish the Island Floor Around the Fins
A bare folding table breaks the branded look your four wave fins create above it. A Branded Table Cover printed in the same dye sublimation process ties your demo surface to the fin graphics. The booth reads as one coordinated display from any approach angle. Custom Flags placed at the aisle entry pull foot traffic toward the island from across the hall. - Branded Table Cover - Custom Flags
Step Up to a Larger Island or Try a Different Shape
The U-Shape Magnetic Modular Fabric Display suits a three-sided enclosure. Use it when your show contract gives you a peninsula assignment rather than a full open island. The Four Corner Magnetic Modular Fabric Display scales the island concept up when your floor space runs larger than 13 ft x 13 ft. - U-Shape Magnetic Modular Fabric Display - Four Corner Magnetic Modular Fabric Display
Smaller Sizes in the Same X-Shape Wave Family
Tighter island assignments or accent placements suit the smaller X-Shape Wave sizes in this magnetic line. Same magnetic frame system, same 240g double-sided fabric, just a smaller footprint. - X-Shape Magnetic Modular Fabric Display
Add Eye-Level Messaging at the Outer Edges
Retractable Banner Stands placed along the open floor space between each fin add a second layer of messaging at eye level. Attendees typically pause there before stepping in. For any outdoor activation where the open X frame leaves the center exposed, a Canopy Tent covers the top of the island space. - Retractable Banner Stands - Tension Fabric Trade Show Booths
FAQs
Can Two People Assemble This Display Without a Booth-Build Crew on a Busy Show Morning?
Yes, and most teams finish in roughly 45 to 60 minutes with two people. The magnetic aluminum frame sections align and lock at each joint without tools, so you're not hunting for a wrench or sorting loose hardware at 7 a.m. Lay the frame sections out in order, connect joint by joint, then zip the pillowcase-style fabric sleeves over each fin. That's the full process.
Will the Wave-Curved Fins Hold Their Shape Under Fabric Tension Once the Joints Lock?
The magnetic connectors hold the frame geometry under the constant pull of the 240g tension fabric stretched across each fin. Each joint locks in a fixed position, so the arms do not drift or sag mid-show. The fabric itself adds structural rigidity by pulling against the frame from all sides, which is why tension fabric systems hold their shape better than loose-drape alternatives.
Does Double-Sided Printing Cost Extra, or Is It Included?
Double-sided printing is included in the base order. Every fin prints a custom graphic on the front face and a separate custom graphic on the back. Supply two artwork files per fin panel: one for the front face, one for the back. Do not send the same file twice expecting a mirrored result.
How Do I Get a Proof Showing All Four Fins, Front and Back, Before Print?
Upload your artwork files for every fin panel, front and back. We send a free digital proof showing each graphic in position before production starts. Production does not begin until you approve the proof, so you have a clear checkpoint to catch layout errors across all eight printable faces.
Can I Reorder Replacement Fabric Graphics Without Buying a New Kit?
Yes. The aluminum frame and magnetic connectors carry a lifetime hardware warranty and stay in service indefinitely. Order replacement 240g tension fabric graphics separately when your show messaging changes or your branding updates. The fabric sleeves zip off and back on without tools, so swapping graphics between shows takes minutes, not a crew.
Get your artwork right
Resolution is where most island booth artwork fails. We recommend 300 DPI at final print size for any graphic under 4 ft wide because that's where attendees get close enough to spot a soft edge. The floor for larger fin panels is 150 DPI, but 300 DPI gives you sharper output on every face.
- File Formats
- PDF, PNG, JPG, or AI. Vector AI files are best for logos so edges stay crisp at any size.
- Bleed
- 0.25 in on all edges. This covers the wrap around the pillowcase sleeve so no white border shows at the fin edge.
- Safe Zone
- Keep all text and logos at least 0.5 in from the trim line. Anything closer risks getting clipped at the seam.
- Color Mode
- CMYK, not RGB. CMYK matches how we print, so the colors you see in your file come out as expected on the fabric. RGB files shift when converted and can make bold colors look flat.
Supply separate front and back artwork files for each fin panel. Eight files total for this display. Four fins, two faces each.
Our free online design tool lets you build layouts sized to the exact fin dimensions. Or our design team can handle the wave-curved panel layout for you. Submit your booth panel artwork as print-ready files and our team sends you a free digital proof showing every graphic in position.

Care instructions
Product care
- Spot clean the 240g tension fabric with mild soap and water after each show. Air dry every fin panel fully before folding. Do not store damp fabric in the bag as moisture traps against the dye sublimation surface and can cause odor or discoloration over time.
- Fold each fin panel flat and keep it in its fabric bag. Rolling puts stress on the pillowcase sleeve seams. Wipe the aluminum frame sections with a dry cloth and check each magnetic connector for grit or debris before the next setup.
- A single dirty joint can throw a fin out of alignment. Replacement connectors are available separately so one damaged piece doesn't sideline the full kit.
